Totally RUDE, rotten fruit!…read more My husband and I have an inside joke about how "I'll never be the recipient of an Edible Arrangement". We've always sent them and never received. So yesterday, I had a particularly lousy day, and my husband thought it would be nice to surprise me today by sending an arrangement to the house while he was at work. How sweet! The man in the truck was very nice. He arrived just after I pulled in my driveway from the grocery store. He even offered to put it in a box for me, seeing that I had groceries to bring in. He was not at all the issue with my review. For him alone, he gets 5 stars. I brought the arrangement directly in the house. Opened it up, and instantly became so mad that my husband just spend his hard earned $60 on SOGGY, BOGGY fruit. Gross. The strawberries were all that soft, dark red color, and really mushy. The melon balls seemed ok on one side, and on another, I could push my finger right through them. The centerpiece was a star shaped pineapple- it's edges were a mush consistency too, and it did not look like whoever gave the ok on this even looked at it. I called my husband, thanking him, but told him I would be bringing it back because it was all mush. He understandably felt bad, but called them to complain. They said they would need to see it in person to make any kind of refund. Did this fruit age over days within the five minute drive from the store to my home? SOMEONE saw this. Either way, I brought it back to the store. The woman behind the counter greeted me with a nasty look, and said (in a rude manner) "Sorry you didn't like the bouquet." I said I would have loved it if it wasn't mush. She snarked at me with another defensive and rude look, opened it up, and had the audacity to ask me to point out where I thought it was mushy. This was not a matter of opinion. It was ROTTEN FRUIT. Period. So a few rude comments were exchanged, the woman clearly mad and defensive, and my order was refunded. I will NOT use this store again.

Always exciting to receive an edible arrangement! The fruit is always so fresh!read more

Morawski Barbecue is a Texas-inspired barbecue food truck that began operations in Rutland,…read moreMassachusetts in May 2022. It was founded by husband and wife Andrew and Cherise Morawksi. After a bachelor party trip to Austin, Texas in 2017, Andrew developed a passion for smoking meat. The couple first began cooking their unique brand of 100% wood-smoked barbecue in March 2019 when they purchased a stick burner smoker. The two began preparing meals for family and friends during the pandemic. Not long after, they started a barbecue catering service with frequent pop-ups. By May of 2022, the Morawskis premiered their brand new mobile food trailer to the public. The menu consists of brisket, pulled pork, pork spare ribs, turkey breast, smoked meat sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes, mac & cheese, apple coleslaw, beans, dill potato salad, and cornbread. Morawski Barbecue can be spotted at various breweries, farms, and festivals throughout Worcester County. I recently sampled some of Morawski Barbecue's delicious food for the first time when I was visiting Tree House Brewing Company in Charlton. Morawksi Barbecue was one of three food trucks that was parked outside the brewery on the day of my visit. I hadn't had some good barbecue for quite some time, so I looked over their menu. I decided to go with "The Combo Sandwich" (brisket & pulled pork on a buttered toasted bulkie) with Spicy BBQ sauce and a side of "Mac & Cheese". Holy moly! I've actually had authentic Texas-style barbecue on trips to Austin, and the Morawskis' version was fantastic! I highly recommend their food! I really hope that I run into their trailer again. I think I'll order a loaded baked potato next time.

I made it a point to go today and I understand the accolades. Everything was fabulous between the meats (brisket, sausage, pulled pork) and the sides. The wait can be a little long, but it's worth it. Check out where they'll be and get there early.
