I had Vanessa help me and the turnout was night & day of a difference. She was so meticulous to add the details to the bob and completely turned the color upside down. I appreciate both of them very much and now walk feeling giddy and so happy with the outcome. TY! Unfortunately, I had one of those experiences where you voiced and showed photos of what you have in mind, only to leave the place holding back tears because the end result didn't deliver. If you want a mediocre cut and ok color while paying normal the same as other places, by all means. I think her name is Jasmine and was so excited they booked me in the same day. She's nice by not someone I would ever return to. I already had an asymmetrical bob cut which I wanted a refresh on but clearly this wasn't her specialty. I've had bob cuts now for two years and other stylists use a tool to define and sharpen the edges but she didn't do that, therefore it looks like a cheap cut that makes me look like a teenager. I also requested partial highlights to be on the darker tone. I mentioned I didn't like caramel or light brown colors but more so of dark brown with chocolate tones. The color, for me, wasn't that at all and this is the part where I left there internally crying. I did express the cut looks nothing like the photos I showed her. And while she tried to use toner and a straightener to improve the look because she saw I was deeply unsatisfied, I'm going to have to go elsewhere to get it color corrected and the cut perfected. I entered expecting to leave feeling excited and instead left with a gutted feeling of regret for trusting a new place. I hate looking in the mirror and left with high hopes from the photos shared but mine didn't turn out that at all.

Secondly, got paired with Mateo who over processed my hair because he was getting a haircut while I was under heat. Got pink then but didn't complain despite the damage and incorrect tone (lavender instead of pink). They also have left this establishment. Thirdly and done today with stylist Jazmin Estrada I returned to give this place one more shot. Stylist didn't check on my hair throughout and used her guess to do as she saw fit despite my ask to check on my hair (she actually went over the time she said she was, appointment at 4pm to closing at 6:30pm which I believe may have been intentional). Turned back so many times hoping an acknowledgment but didn't receive. No check in throughout despite my plea to check on it before the last twenty minutes because I had discomfort and shedding last. No check in despite a plea, no conversation, and no warmth from stylist. Stylist did get my color right on the second toning but first was grey. Be ready to be very vocal if you don't want damaged hair or wrong color because they don't seem to really listen... for bleaching, color, or blonde.

I've also been going through a rough experience with work at the moment, so I figured I could use a change that I had some control over. Out of the three hair salons I looked at, I decided to go here. I'm glad I did! Not only did the stylist give me a cut that looked good but it was quick and affordable...actually I paid much less of what I normally do! My hair is long so oftentimes a cut would be at least $55. I was pleasantly surprised it ended up being $35. Incredible! I'm definitely coming back here for all my cuts now!

I had no idea what I wanted but she recommended a balayage with some added highlights. The results came out great and I've received a ton of compliments on it all the time! She was already running a little bit late when I've got there. Which is fine. It happen. When I sat down, I showed her what I wanted, which is a layer with curtain bangs. She cut off all my dead ends and I sat down to get my hair washed, which felt rushed. She started to cut my hair left and right, without recognizing where my middle part is. This isn't my first time getting layered haircuts in my life and It didn't seem like she wasn't doing anything to like cut my hair evenly, she was just cutting away. I was thinking, "wow, maybe she's just that good". I trusted her ability. She shampooed my hair, cut and dried my hair all in 40 mins. Which seemed real rushed, and she also had someone right after me that was waiting. Does she just try to get much client as possible and only give herself 30 mins per client? Because that is exactly how I felt. I didn't think too much of my hair because I was rushed out, and went on with my day. I washed my hair and dried it again when I got home, and noticed that my hair is very uneven. I tried to find this "middle part" of my head to see how I can make my hair even from left to right. Unsuccessful. I could have reached out to her to get this fixed and I'm sure she would have. But after how poorly this was done the first time, why do I even try. My hair will grow eventually to get a different cut from a different place. My point is, I felt rushed, I have paid $90 that is including the tip, for an uneven hair cut. I will not be coming back here.
