While most of the dishes were well prepared (the spaghetti carbonara was excellent) the giant meat ball was very ordinary (my wife's is vastly superior). Tables are small and very close to each other. Hence TR is a loud. Our party of four had a very pleasant evening, but for a special event I would return to Casa D' Angelo a short distance away.

The seasoning was yet again, simple but delicious. The prawns were succulent, fish was high quality, and the fried anchovies surprised me. I loved all the proteins. I also tried the squid ink pasta and the seafood linguini. Both were good but the squid ink pasta was unique. I can't put my finger on the flavor but I liked it. Service was incredible and the chef was kind. He came out to talk to us and explained some of the dishes. The restaurant is homey and cozy. I felt like I was in Sicily. Our waitress hardly checked in until the end of the meal, with minimal follow-up during dinner. The situation escalated when, after paying, our waitress, Haley B, approached the table in a confrontational manner, questioning me directly--three separate times--about the tip, in front of the entire group. Gratuity should reflect the quality of both service and overall experience; being pressured for a higher tip despite the lack of attention was entirely out of line. To make matters worse, my follow-up call to management was equally disappointing. The response was all talk, no action. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism left a lasting negative impression.
