I highly recommend this course to anyone who loves or needs (for work or family) to travel. It was fairly easy when I was by myself. Traveling on a budget nowadays is possible. The problem is that now there's 3 of us (my wife, myself and the little one who is over 2 years old and as such needs his own tickets). Traveling nowadays is a complicated and expensive. A $1k ticket is now a $3k expense, etc. Boris helped me find a solution. I am not going to get into details. That's what the class is for but I my family and I just got back from Europe having paid $180 for 3 round trip tickets. We would have paid $3k+ otherwise. Before that, the 3 of us went to Jamaica after paying close to noting for the tickets. The resort we went to is pretty expensive and it would have been prohibitively expensive if we had to pay for the tickets as well. By the way, it is not as simple as paying for tickets with points of miles. Boris will show you how to get the most out of those miles. To give you an example, 1 ticket worth of american express membership rewards miles, can turn into 2 round trip tickets after transferring the miles to another program (JetBlue in the case of my Jamaica vacation). I am not going to list every ticket I got using these simple techniques, but they did allow me to travel quite a bit and I plan to continue using these methods to see the world. Since I took this course about 8 months ago I was able to travel for free from NYC to Paris (round trip), NYC to San Francisco (tickets for 2 people), and Seattle to NYC (tickets for 2 people). Needless to say, I was very skeptical about the subject. Miles+points+credit cards=free flights - seemed too good to be true, but I figured I'd give it a try, especially in light of having to pay for flights to Europe for 2 people. This class was a perfect intro to the world of "travel hacking" and I once I felt comfortable that my credit score wont take a beating due to opening new credit cards (I have 7 now and my score is excellent - the course addresses the issue of how many credit cards is too many and how to deal with them) I went with it. There is a learning curve to the matter, but Boris, the Master Traveler, is extremely knowledgeable and once you learn how to do it once you can catch your own fish. I opened the following credit cards and got the respective values out of them - I think these digits speak louder than words: Chase Sapphire Preferred - 60K points - got $650 in airfare Chase United Explorer - 50K points - got $600 in airfare Chase Southwest Airlines - 50K points - $500 in airfare Take the class. Great class! Learned a few things I never even knew existed. Amazing pointers and Boris was a great instructor. If you are a savvy traveler, you might know a few of the things taught in the class, but for an average person who logs onto a travel deals site and struggles to understand how to maximize their miles/points, this class will definitely help. It is no get rich quick scam. I was a bit apphrehensive before going to class, but the points and methods taught in the class were great. You definitely won't be flying for free the next day of taking the class, but with patience and applying the methods from class, you will easily make enough points/miles to get free ticket to fly the world. I took a class in November 2013 and have already earned enough points to get a ticket to Europe and back. Totally recommend it! read more

While I've heard of credit card mile programs, it always seemed like a hassle that just wasn't worth it. I also knew about the tricks credit card companies play, with blackout dates and other limitations. Boris from the Travel Masters Academy changed my view of using miles for travel. The guy is unbelievably knowledgeable about various programs and about how airlines operate. After guiding my wife and me through the process, we were able to get enough miles for two roundtrip flights to Europe. Unbelievably, New York to London was just $2.50. The class is not some crazy scheme. It simply shows you the options out there and teaches you how to get the most out of them. I am so glad I took this class. I learned incredible tips on how to use the credit card and banks miles rewards in your best interest to travel almost for free. It gives you another perspective not only on how to get the most out of rewards programs but also a great inspiration to use this same strategies in other creative ways. Really enjoyed the class! Great techniques and methods for obtaining free travel. This is definetely not a scam. Like many people I was skeptical of the "travel hacking" world and what it might do to my credit. The instructor Boris repeatedly encourages you to implement the strategies slowly so you don't get over your head too fast and will alleviate any fears about the credit. That being said he gives you a simple technique to obtain a free round trip flight anywhere in the world in the next 6 months. I have no doubts my wife and I will be able to make it back to Europe this summer and will be able to travel several times per year after that. read more

My wife and I took the Travel Masters 101 class on 1/12/14. Our instructor Boris was excellent. He has been successfully using the system he teaches for several years. The course was very comprehensive and interactive, answering everyone's questions At the end of the class, Boris spent time with any interested students reviewing their specific travel plans and the explaining the best way to get nearly free airfare. We especially liked that we received a PDF of the coursework, that the course can be taken again for free and that any time we have questions, they will be answered by email. I generally don't write reviews. I've only written one other in all the years I've been on Yelp. But I have to say that Boris and his Travel Masters Academy is fantastic. I took 101 and 201 and the strategies he taught us were clear and easy to put into practice. Boris himself was super informed and helpful and his approach was comprehensive without being overwhelming. I hate debt, especially credit card debt, so I was somewhat skeptical, but Boris was always careful to gave us the facts about the dangers of credit card debt and the importance of preserving a high credit score. Boris is an excellent teacher! I am in the process of booking my first free roundtrip ticket to Peru based on what I learned from him. This is an excellent class that gives you many of the tricks that exist out there to acquire Travel Miles and Points and how to use them. It makes little-known facts accessible to all. Boris, the instructor, also carefully explained the pros and cons of the various ways you can earn Miles and Points. Not all the techniques are easy to put in practice and in the end there is a tradeoff between time and money, but I am confident that most people will find at least a couple of ways to acquire Miles in an easy way after attending this class. read more

I've always been weary of credit card deals in the past, and never though I'd ever be able to collect enough miles for travel. But Travel Masters gave me very easy to follow advice that saved me a lot of money. Between two credit cards I earned over 100,000 points in only a few months, that I redeemed for a flight from Europe and several hundred dollars worth of free hotel stays.
