I stayed at Treasure Island for 2 nights for 4th of July weekend and it was a pleasant stay overall. It's not the fanciest hotel and a little dated, but you get what you pay for. With that, it had all the amenities that we needed and the rooms I felt were relatively clean. If I had to be nit picky, the refrigerator in the room smelled musty, but if you're not planning to use the fridge then its ok. We asked for extra sets of toiletries and they gave us a TON, which was much appreciated. I really liked the self check-in kiosk! The process was very straight forward and got my keys in a timely manner. They had multiple stations and there was no line as well. Overall a good stay on the strip that is more affordable and convenient. Don't expect anything fancy or opulent, but it does the job for a weekend stay. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Treasure Island was unacceptable from the start. Room 21041 had a strong, overwhelming odor upon entry, despite multiple air filtration machines already running. It was clear the hotel was aware of the issue before assigning the room. At the front desk, I requested to speak with the General Manager. Vincent Li initially claimed to be the manager, then contacted Ofelia, who identified herself as GM but refused to meet in person and only spoke by phone. She came across as dismissive and frustrated, which was very disappointing. We were moved to another room, but it was still unacceptable dirty looking sheets, stained towels, hair in the bathroom, and a lifted carpet edge that created a tripping hazard. We've stayed here before and this has never happened, which made this experience even more disappointing. read more

Treasure Island is hit and miss. I purchased my wife a show ticket and the day the show she went back to look at the tickets and it gave an error that the page was no longer available. I called TI to see what the deal was after I checked my account to see that the ticket charge was still pending. The person ai spoke to the phone said that my wife could get the ticket at the box office. But things just didn't add up to me so I asked her to double check that there was a ticket for her. This is when she discovered that the show has been canceled. No email notification or anything, good thing I called. And just a side note, their website is horrible and hard to use. read more

You can definitely tell this hotel is getting a little older, but I still love the junior suite. It has two full-size bathrooms, one with a soaking tub and the other with a shower. It has a great value view of the strip at least for now until that big guitar gets in its way.. The pool is fabulous. It's also heated and there's plenty of seating that you can reserve as well. They even have a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.. The junior suite itself is actually pretty large. The bed is super comfy with four fluffy pillows has a huge television and two nightstands that have USB ports unfortunately one side did not work. It does have a lighted table underneath, but again only one of them worked the other table did not the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. It did, however, have a hairdryer and an iron inside the huge closet to store your items.. This is the best room in my opinion and the hotel has the best bar Gilleys where they have the best Texas tea and nachos on the strip and they even do bikini bull riding once a month . they even added a new barcalled the American bar and Grill and they do karaoke that was so much fun. They even have a pool table and darts available as well. That staff in that particular restaurant was amazing. Overall, there are some much-needed upgrades needed to this particular hotel, but I would definitely be back as I do love that junior suite with the two bathrooms. read more

Stayed here on Summer 2026. I choose TI because this is the closest affordable hotel to go to the sphere. I just had to cross to the venetian and they have bridge to go to the sphere. No need to be in the sun or take the street. I had no problem with their self check-in. Free parking. The only problem that i had was the water pressure in the shower, it was so low. Idk if it's applied to all rooms. But i had to take longer shower for the lack of water pressure. But overall it was a good stay. read more

Booked this hotel because I heard about its affordability, convenience on the Strip, and free parking. Although this hotel does have some pros, I would say that there are way more cons. Unfortunately, my partner and I had a subpar experience staying here. I would avoid this hotel unless you're on a tight budget. Our room was decently sized, but felt very old and outdated. My biggest complaint would be in regards to the bathroom. There was no hot water in the bathroom, the shower and toilet were pretty dirty, and no hand soap was provided. Something to look out for is the daily resort fee, which you may still need to pay even if you do not use any of the resort amenities (casino, pool, fitness center, spa, etc). While checking in, I asked the front desk if we could have the resort fee removed because we did not plan on using any resort amenities, but they said no. My favorite thing about this hotel is honestly the ease of checking out. Check out can be easily and quickly done through your phone without having to go to the front desk or even line up for a kiosk. You can just leave the room key in your room and go. read more

When I was recommended to stay at Treasure Island, I had decent expectations as it's a grand spot within the LV Strip. Upon arrival, we were able to check in fairly quickly. I'd say that if it's your first time, you'll have to follow some signs to find the lobby since it's a pretty sizeable hotel. (Range of $170 - $200 a night) My partner and I had a deluxe room which comes with all of the basic hotel items and a mirrored wardrobe closet, full size iron and ironing board, and a small refrigerator. (King Size Bed) The bed itself is nice, pretty standard is most modern hotels. As for toiletries, there was practically nothing. Only a hairdryer, shower/hand towels were provided and that's basically it.....pretty disappointed. The layout of the restroom is a bit....confusing? The toilet is quite low compared to your usual toilets, so you'll be sitting there a bit close to the floor. The toilet paper holder is also in a weird position because of the toilet positioning. It's by the wall so you'll essentially have to move your body to even reach the toilet paper. On top of that, the shower towels are hanging right above the toilet. That's is most certainly not sanitary and a terrible design. Water from the showerhead was also a huge problem. I found myself standing there waiting for the order to warm up enough to get in but it took about 10 minutes for the water to even be warm even after cranking it all the way to the maximum. On top of that, the water pressure was just not strong enough. Body wash and Shampoo bottles were provided but they were all super small sized bottles that resemble eye drop bottles. Not a great look and the wording is almost impossible to read as it's similar color to the bottle itself. -- PROS -- - Free in/out parking whenever - Self check in/out kiosks - Ice machine on every floor - Spacious room - Fridge - Free WiFi -- CONS -- - Stuff my partner and I found dirty (Pillow cases, shower towels, shower wall) - Low water pressure - Water temperature times - Weird toilet arrangement - Non Sanitary Towel placement - Not great toiletries Overall, not the greatest hotel, but not the worse either. Treasure Island, now rebranded as TI, offers a classic Las Vegas experience with a prime Strip location, and a wide variety of entertainment and dining options. The resort provides easy access to neighboring destinations such as The Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn hotels, and the Fashion Show Mall. The first time I visited Las Vegas, I stayed at TI. Back in the day they had $3.00 breakfast and think I paid $200 for a three night stay including airfare. One of the strongest aspects of staying at Treasure Island was its value. TI boldly promotes its free parking, making it an attractive option for visitors seeking convenience and affordability. Given that my first TI visit was over 20 years ago, TI is one of the older hotels on the strip. However, it now has a modern 24 Hour CVS store inside (picked up a few snacks). The property provides plenty to do without leaving the resort. Treasure Island is home to Mystère by Cirque du Soleil, one of the longest-running and most popular shows in Las Vegas. The resort also features multiple restaurants like Gilley's and Senor Frog's. They also have bars, a casino, shopping, spa, and a tropical-style pool area. We had a wonderful stay at Treasure Island and would definitely book here again! The location is one of the biggest perks, it's right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, making it easy to get just about everywhere. We were able to walk to the Sphere for a show with no problem, and it was also convenient having Mystère by Cirque du Soleil right inside the hotel. The pedestrian walkway to cross over to the Venetian is just steps away, making it incredibly easy to explore even more of the Strip. There are plenty of food and coffee options too, including a Starbucks inside the hotel, a pizza place where we grabbed a meal, and another Starbucks right on the corner. We also loved that Treasure Island offers free self-parking, which is becoming harder to find on the Strip. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable after long days of sightseeing, and we enjoyed spending time relaxing by the pool, it was a great place to cool off and unwind. I know it's not as grand as some of the bigger hotels but for us we are pretty much only sleeping here this was a great affordable accommodation. If you're looking for a hotel with an unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, free parking, and easy access to some of the Strip's best attractions, Treasure Island is a fantastic choice. We only visited because we were seeing Mystere but have played here a few times on and off over the years. If you want the feel of style Vegas, Treasure Island, and Casino Royale, are the ONLY places on the strip that maintain that feeling. The have a mismatch of slots, table games, dining, and stores, that don't seem organized. Throw in low ceilings, and that fact that most of the lighting comes from the slots, you have the Vegas that I remember when I turned 21 in 1987, although the slots are just tiny bit glitzier now. I was surprised that it didn't have the casino smoke smell I also remember from the past. They do have their own players club, which mean you're not going to earn points for any other casino except for Treasure Island. However, TI has such a quirky feel, it's fun to experience. read more

I would definitely stay at Treasure Island again. The room rate was the best around for what you get - close to the action, clean, comfortable room (although no microwave or coffee maker in the room, but there IS a hair dryer), beautiful pool, friendly staff, self-check-in/checkout, and onsite food available (even vegan options). Go to the pool early when they open and you'll find plenty of seating in the shade. And the music they play in the morning isn't too loud. Around midday there's no shade and the music is loud. TI is practically across the street from The Venetian, which is a must-see. There is a Subway restaurant about 5 minutes walk away (this is important for vegans on a budget - they have the veggie patty!). Interestingly, the onsite Starbucks always had a line of people waiting to buy stuff, but if you walk to the Starbucks that's outside the building, literally just feet away, there's no line at all and you get served immediately. Super long line to check in at the main lobby when we arrived around 3:30 p.m. on a Friday, so we read the posted signs and walked around the corner to the self-check-in area and waited a significantly shorter time to check in and get to our rooms. read more

Based on the simple fact that they are such a long-standing hotel on the Las Vegas strip, I am going to give Treasure Island five stars mostly for its longevity. The hotel itself has pleasant enough rooms. The casino is (as in every Las Vegas hotel that I have been to) centrally located and meant to be the focus of the hotel. They have several restaurants on property, both sit down and fast-food options. Check-in was easy enough (shout out to Abby and Sade) and the staff were friendly enough throughout the whole hotel. The room itself was great and not particularly expensive. I splurged on a "petite suite" and did not expect two separate bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi and the other with shower (though things were kinda... falling off the walls,) and though the lighting was as dark and gloomy as a cave, the room was spacious, trapezoidal and angled instead of the dull shoebox rectangle that's the norm for hotel rooms. At least one bartender at the Breeze Bar downstairs was above-and-beyond on service (unfortunately did not get his name but the guy with the cool hair and a noteworthy expertise at the Mojito and the Prosecco Spritz.) But TI booked me into a room directly across the hall from heavy, ear-splitting construction (see the hallway pic - my room door is at left, work crew working in the hole at right,) so sleep here was impossible. Which had me in just the most swell of moods. And the day before that... TI's cleaning people either cannot read or do not care about doorknob placards (anachronistic in the digital age anyway) saying not to disturb. So... zero sleep at this boot camp. Somebody at Treasure island consciously and knowingly chose to book me into a room directly across the hall from where - also consciously and knowingly - they scheduled a work crew to a.) cut through the drywall, b.) do a bunch of rotary-drill reaming at 7am - as in: reeearrreeeearreeearrreee - and c.) do a bunch of hammering a couple minutes later - as in bangbangbangbangbangbang - followed by d.) a return to the reaming, and e.) a return to the banging, and f.) rinse and repeat, g.) directly across the hall from my room, which, to recap, h.) some other person at Treasure Island Inc, *consciously and knowingly chose to rent to me,* despite the fact that it's in the middle of a high-decibel construction zone. The day before this I was bulldozed out of sleep, again in the wee hours after hitting the sack at something like 3am, by a maid, banging on the door and shouting "Hello-o-o-o, would you like us to make up your rooooooom???" This is with the Do Not Disturb placard hanging clearly on the outer doorknob. And apparently ignored. On which point: It is the year 2026, smack in the middle of the vaunted Digital Age. Why are they using the Cro-Magnon methodology of signs on doors in the first place to let the staff know we don't want to be woken up? (Also to let any would-be pranker that "Here's a door that would be cool to bang on at 7am.") Am I the only one who can conceive of a click-box on the Check-In receptionist's PC for "Do not disturb this room under any circumstances, ever, for the duration of his stay," with the cleaning staff carrying a device to reference this information, indexed to room numbers, as they go through their morning shifts? But then with major construction going on anyway, what's the use? Maybe I should apply for the job of TI General Manager. 'Cause I know for a fact I could do a better job than this. The textbook definition of "hotel" and "hotel room" is: A place people go in order to sleep. I do not care if it's the most opulent, fit-for-a-king room on the planet, if you are *denied* the ability to sleep, by the hotel management itself, you are in a boot camp, not a "hotel." If you were actually allowed to sleep it would work as a hotel, but I'm thinking the TI is not long for this world, particularly when it will not allow its guests to sleep. My complaint about this construction fiasco got me an email from TI with empty fluff like "We are terribly sorry" and "We deeply regret," which... are valueless fluff. Sleep is something I value; I paid for a hotel room and was booked into a room directly adjacent to construction, which was also booked for that location; ergo I was not allowed by this "hotel" to sleep. But I got some words about "sorry" and "regret" from them. Well that just solves everything. The words "lazy" and "cheap" spring immediately to mind here. I won't even go into the TP holders and doorknobs falling apart, the peeling wallpaper or the clogged drain - further indicators of decay and neglect. I almost feel sorry for the physical building. When my daughter and I were visiting Vegas for shopping for her wedding clothes we had to get our entertainment in as well. Who doesn't enjoy a good drag queen show? Well I certainly do. I knew of this drag queen from a tv show called RuPaul's Drag race. When I was searching online for our evening entertainment for 3 nights. This was one that popped out and sounded fun since I had never been to one, it certainly wasn't on a bucket list of sorts but it was perfect since it was a Sunday Brunch and we were leaving later that day. I had never stayed at Treasure Island before and it was really nice. As for the brunch I cannot give high marks on the food, actually it was awful, but most aren't there for the food but the Bloody Mary's were yummy. Great time! read more

I stayed while in town for a convention and overall was not a bad spot. The hotel is pretty centrally located within walking distance from other hotels and casinos as well as restaurants, with some on location. We didn't drive in but I saw plenty of signs for free parking which is a nice perk. They did have about five quick check-in machines in the lobby if you didn't want to deal with the line at the desk, and we were able to check in a little early. Rooms are clean but a little dated, with strange outlet locations and switches on the lamps far away from bedside. The room was a good size, and had two luggage stands which was helpful. The bathroom was large and had a tub. The casino had a good amount of options, I didn't even get to exploring most of it. Overall, it was a good spot with a fun theme. read more

They messed up an overpriced reservation. Overpriced due to Sick New World, which I was attending. The room wasn't available, at 1 A.M., a good nine or ten hours after the room was supposed to be ready. So, we were promised a 50$ USD food and beverage credit. It's actually the only reason I spent fifty dollars on F&B at TI. Why else would I? Guess what they failed to do: give me the credit. One star; I won't ever stay here again. Wynn/Encore is about a trillion times superior, and I get comped there. Should have never expected anything more from TI. It should have imploded long ago. Avoid. read more

The staff alone gives this rating a 4 instead of a 2 or 3. I've traveled to Las Vegas over a dozen times in the last 5 years and have stayed at Treasure Island several times. This was the first time traveling with my 5-year old son. I believe it is the best option on the Strip for families with young children because of the theme, the quiet side of the strip, and the easy access to an onsite CVS. The staff are also very engaging with children. The housekeeping staff greeted my son multiple times in the hallways and asked if he was having a good time. Mystere is also the best show on the strip for children and a great value. I do not recommend taking young children to the pool on the weekends because it's crowded with adults and loud music. There were probably 100 people in the pool and only 5 children/young adults. The room decor was worn from heavy traffic, however, this is common in almost every strip hotel I've stayed in. Even a 500/night room at the Bellagio shows signs of ware. The one thing about the room this time that was noticeably problematic was one of the queen beds. The mattress was caved in so bad on the right side, as if someone had been sleeping there for years. The dip was so bad that sleeping on the floor would've been better. Fortunately there were two beds and the other one was fine. If there was more than 2 of us it would've been a problem. I will stay here again, especially if I bring my son. read more

Overall, it was relatively inexpensive to stay here. We didn't spend much time in the hotel or in the room, so that's why it's more of a 3 stars. If I stayed here for an extended period of time, probably would have received less stars. Service at the check in was friendly. The room was pretty outdated and a lot of things that needed updating such as loose doorknobs/handles/fixtures, older furniture, towels that were clearly pretty old. We booked Treasure Island because it was the cheapest hotel on the strip. I checked in online, but we still needed to check in at the hotel to get the physical keys to the room. There was a 1 hour wait to check in at the counter. But we used the kiosk which had no wait but we couldn't ask for specific rooms. We got a corner room with windows looking toward the strip. Nice view, but since we were on the 5th floor, we could hear everything. We could also hear the neighbors in the room next door. Thank goodness we only had one neighbor. The room was clean and we appreciated the mini fridge was empty so we could use it. The toiletries they offer smelled very nice. Our restroom had a sink that made glugging noises in the drain. And the shower light was flickering. Definitely not a perfect room, but a great way to be on the strip and not pay a fortune. read more

2.8 stars It's heartbreaking to see this hotel go from being a fun, pirate-themed hotel resort to a shadow of it's former glory. Other than the ship outside, the pirates and outdoor pirate show have been erased. To me, it's just a regular hotel with expensive resort fees now. The resort fees are $50 per night on top of room rates and it includes wifi and some other stuff I didn't/don't use. The rooms look ok on picture, but the rooms are pretty outdated. My room, 17026, is a 2-bed view room facing Caesar's Palace and the view is decent. The beds are pretty comfortable and I didn't have any bed bug issues like some of the reviews I read. However, I did encounter other problems like finding hot cheeto crumbs and sunflower seeds on the carpet and a whole hot cheeto under one of the beds. In the restroom, there was a pink pill in a corner. The glass counters under the TV and atop the desk didn't look wiped-down. The desk chair must be the unfortunate victim of a very neglected/unsupervised kid with a blue Bic pen because the chair was stabbed with the pen multiple times. There was also a stain on the top cover of a bed and yellow stains on a face towel. (We checked the bedsheets before sleeping for the night.) The location is a prime location for getting to the popular spots on the Strip like Wynn/Encore, The Palazzo & The Venetian. It's also right next to the fashion mall as well. There's free parking for guests with the 3rd floor of the garage being the most desirable since there's a bridge walkway from garage to hotel. With all that said, I'd still give this hotel a livable score of 2.8/5 stars. I don't think they're the worst hotel in Las Vegas, but they're definitely not the best. If you can afford Wynn/Encore, Waldorf Astoria, or Four Seasons, I'd definitely recommend those hotels. read more

Lower rate hotel for those in town for conventions at the Venetian, nothing stood out incredibly for my stay save for I save a bundle compared to other hotels. - Bell Service top notch - Self check-in should have all of my info on file! (You know, like airport check in once you slide your credit card in.) - I will forevermore do non-self check in and save myself some time - Casino and gaming floor smells like an ashtray - The NY Pizza restaurant was quick and good, SBUX was not at all - Pool open through October The resort fee was steep, but we were happy to have spent two afternoons by the pool to take advantage. The DJ at the Pool was pumpin' but can the Lifeguards really guard wearing their socks and shoes? Hilarity by the pool on Day One, as a trashy couple in the hot tub were gettin' it on for like 45 minutes and then Security put on latex gloves to remove the couple. My wife, son, and I spent a bit too much time lollygagging in Las Vegas and rather than spend four hours driving back to L.A. on a Sunday night we started looking online and found a $78 room at Treasure Island. I'll take The Strip anytime over some outlying place. Check-in was easy, no resort fee, $100 deposit which was refunded a couple of days later. I jauntily asked for a high floor with a Strip view and got a 33rd-floor room facing the Venetian. Facing east, thankfully there were blackout drapes. Room was clean and comfortable. Maybe small for some people's tastes, but not cramped. We grabbed some pizza from downstairs befire turning in, and got Starbucks coffee in the morning before heading out for breakfast (Blueberry Hill, natch). No complaints. read more

Treasure Island reeks of cigarettes. Unfortunately, I took a chance and booked before going on Yelp in a rush. As a person who is very sensitive to smells this is a MAJOR drawback. When I arrived, I found hair, toothpaste stains, dirty shower curtain, and felt grossed out. Fortunately I always pack cleaning products to clean my rooms and I understand that cleaning this massive hotel is overwhelming but I did not anticipate to feel so grossed out. Finally, unlike many of the other hotels in the area that had a lot of activities located within the hotel, Treasure Island had a few to pick from. Only ever come here if I'm going to the Mystere cirque show. The smell of the casino is so bad. A mix of mold, mildew & cigarettes combined to where it's hard to tolerate walking in the casino.. that should be looked at, many casinos in Vegas remodel and take care of the hygiene of an establishment. Still a great option for a value play with a clean room and excellent center strip location. With free parking and option to decline their resort fee, you can't go wrong with The Treasure Island. Yes, it's an older property but keep in mind it's super comfy and convenient. You can get to your room from rh garage in less than 10 minutes. That's unheard of in Vegas. The pool is small but clean and still picturesque. Enjoy this classic hotel and casino while you can. You never know when it could be demolished like it's long time neighbor - The Mirage. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I only put 1 star because it requires at least one to enter a review. Customer service is the worst and we aren't even checked in yet. We have stood in line to check in for 2 HOURS along with a huge line of other guests. And EVERY employee working behind the desk has left with no explanation what so ever!!! We were very happy with our weekend stay at Treasure Island. Two things I can't tolerate when traveling are bugs and dirt and Treasure Island exceeded my expectations. The hotel, staff, rooms, and casino were all super clean, well-maintained, and friendly especially for an older property. If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel so you can splurge on other things in Vegas, I'd absolutely recommend it. And honestly, having a CVS downstairs was a lifesaver every night for those late-night electrolyte runs. I'd definitely stay here again! read more

Not sure what's the negativity surrounding this hotel from other reviewers i thought it was great. We booked a king and got this super amazing strip view and clean, comfy bed/room and all that amenities. Least here they don't charge u parking and even give u an actual empty fridge to use in room ( not filled up with a bunch of stuff like others yk). Great location walkable everywhere to all other hotels. They got some restaurants but some of them close on some weekdays which we went so didnt get to try. Pricy as usual. Casino is grand, lot of table n machine per usual. Service was great and attentive. For the price of $80 TOTAL ( we book with the tv deal promo they had on their website) this is more than expectation. Will be returning soon :) read more
