While your mask sits they will give you a neck and shoulder massage. Treat also seems to be one of the more affordable options in Santa Barbara for facials. I came across Treat back in 2006 when I was working a half block away. Since then, Jamie, and her incredible staff have been remarkable. They have been a great resource for client and family gifts. Was in town for a Santa Barbara reunion with my BFF from Austin, TX, and we spontaneously decided to pamper ourselves. Found a fantastic groupon deal for an anti-aging facial @ Treat. We called very last minute and were able to both get appointments for a Sunday, which is pretty unusual. When we arrived, the receptionist was so sweet and accommodating. The spa/store is small but very warm and inviting. Our aestetician, Alice, was wonderful from the start. She was so warm and friendly, and very skilled. Our facials were incredible, and Alice was so knowledgeable about our individual skin needs. Not only did I receive a very relaxing and thorough facial, but a wonderful upper body massage, and very helpful education regarding diet and skincare. The best $70 I've ever spent!!!! Will definitely return to see Alice for another facial the next time I'm in Santa Barbara!!! read more

I've never tried their estheticians because I'm happy with the ones I do use, but I love their products, especially their body/hand lotions, but I've been pleased with every product there. It seems as if everytime I go into Treat someone behind the counter is eating and it makes me feel as if I am disturbing them, even when I have an appointment. I think it would be more professional to have the ladies eat their lunch and snacks in the back. It would go a long way in maintaining a more professional atmosphere. One other thing that I was bothered by recently was they had the creator of one of their product lines in the store. I happened to have an appointment at the same time they were having their little "event" and even received an email invite to come by to meet the creator and test the creams. Not one person acknowledged or asked me if I was interested in the product or if I would like a demonstration from the creator. I thought that was strange, especially if they wanted to drum up excitement for it. It is a shame as I was in the market for a new day cream. There was only one other customer in the store and like six people from Treat so it was not due to a lack of staff, but perhaps a lack of direction from the owner of Treat who was also there. I do have to say that my experience with Myra has always been top notch and she is definitely the reason to continue going back to Treat. She is warm and inviting and makes you feel completely at ease, comfortable and most importantly welcomed. A few lessons can be learned from her on professionalism. She receives FIVE STARS from me and I will recommend her services to my friends. read more

Painful, bruised, injured. Worst bikini wax I've ever received. I got a Brazilian with Lauren. She was very kind and accommodating during, however... the most painful wax I've ever gotten. I've had MANY waxes from various places over the years and never been in so much pain as I was during this wax. I thought maybe it was just a fluke, but 24 hours later I developed a 2 inch DARK PURPLE BRUISE in my area. Very swollen, inflamed, and painful. They will be getting a phone call to see why this happened and hopefully to get some compensation. Won't be returning. read more

I first tried out Treat using a Groupon and was so impressed that I jumped into a series of facials with Mayra. I can say with conviction that Mayra gives one of the best facials anywhere - this due to my advanced age and peripatetic ways. A combination of fantastic products, plus her thoughtful, caring attitude towards her clients and their skin result in a perfect (5-star) experience. You'll float out of there in a wave of herbal and fruit scents, and feel like a noodle after her massages of face, neck, arms and hands. I think my skin even looks better! read more

I have to say that when I first walked in I was not impressed with the front desk. The girl at the front desk was wearing shorter than life shorts, not a sight to see. She was also chomping on a crumbly bar of some sort so her mouth was full the entire time she checked me in. It was pretty inappropriate. She had crumbs all over her sweater, didn't think to put her treat down, check me in, and carry on. Nope she just switched her treat from hand to hand. I've never seen that sort of carelessness in a spa like customer service oriented business. The facial with Lauren on the other-hand was fabulous. Lauren definitely knows what she's doing, she is very sweet and educated on best skin practices. Half way through my facial I could hear people laughing and talking and Lauren was kind enough to quickly raise the music in the facial room. The reality is the front desk should know better when there's a service going on. I get the space is small and there is no soundproofing but common sense isn't always common. I give Lauren 5 stars- I hope she finds a venue that caters to client needs. read more

When I moved to Santa Barbara I had the pleasure of stumbling across Treat. It's a very cute place with lots of fun products and a very knowledgeable front of the house staff. Skincare is something that is extremely important to me so needless to say I have experienced many different spas so I am extremely particular in what I expect. I follow a specific skin care regimen from a well known Dr. In L.A, but do love getting a great facial once a month. I was so taken back by the knowledge and professionalism of their aesthetician Alice. Alice is literally not only the nicest person, makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable but she has literally helped my skin improve even more and has just as much knowledge as the Dr. I see. I will just make an appointment and she will address whatever issue my skin is having and completely transform it. I can't praise her enough, so happy to have found her. read more

I bought a Groupon a short time ago with Treat for 3 Brazilian waxes. My aesthetician was Myra each of those times and she was fantastic. She was very polite and quite meticulous with her work. So another Groupon was available for 5 Brazilian waxes of which I purchased. However, when I called to make an appointment I was told that the Groupon could not be honored because it was for "first time customers only". I looked at the Groupon on the web site as well as my voucher and this information was NOT stated in the "fine print". I called Treat again and stated I did not see this information. I was told my Groupon could still not be honored and that the manager "is currently on the phone with Groupon trying to get the issue fixed". In my opinion, I should have been granted my originally purchased Groupon since at that time "first time customers" was not in the fine print. I find this to be very poor customer service and I will not return to Treat. So, please be very careful when you are purchasing Groupons with Treat. read more

I started coming here in 2014, after purchasing a deal from Groupon. So, it should say a lot that I'm still coming here on an every-other-month basis. Lauren is the greatest, and while I've exclusively only seen her for waxes, I can say with certainty that everyone here is wonderful. The ladies at the front are always so great and helpful in purchasing beauty products, because I always find myself wandering the store and looking for new things to try (they have small samples that always help in choosing the right product). I've referred countless people to Lauren and treat in general - great for small gifts, high-end beauty products, candles (think Baby & Bridal shower gifts). I'm getting off topic - Lauren in great. Everyone's great. Parking is sometimes shitty, but that's not their fault. Love this place and I look forward to continue coming, even though my trips here result in 30 minutes of hair being ripped out of my body :) read more
