Just got done at Treds got the say they did pretty good work. If you didn't know I'm always doing stuff to my car; anytime you mess with the suspension you should get an alignment. I was lucky enough to get a same day appointment during my lunch brake here. My car is pretty low but they were able to put down wood blocks to allow me to fit my car on the ramp. I was also able to run the test and kind of see what gets done; They need adjustment my alignment to factory spec's as I'm currently running this setup. They got me in and out and was very fair about there prices; I do have fully adjustable camber and toe and they reset everything back to where it needs to be. Have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma that had been running with crazy vibrations for awhile, I was told what it needed to make it go away, but the vibration was so bad I was doubtful. Was recommended I go see Jesse at Treds so I did, we set up a day for him to replace the carrier bearing, u-joints and the left front knuckle. And what a job he did, the truck now runs like it just came off the lot again! Very grateful that I was recommended to these guys. Got an alignment too and I'm good to go for awhile. I was blown away by the service here at Treds. I drove up and Manuel helped me out. He asked which tire it was, and I mistakenly told him it was the back left. Just the other day my wife had a low tire on the back left that I had worked on. Anyway, Manuel and the owner (I believe) were working hard for a good 15 minutes troubleshooting the wrong tire. They asked me if I was certain it was it, and we came to the conclusion that it was the front right tire - my mistake! Moral of the story, they were patient and not upset at my honest mistake. They happily asked to repair the front right tire with a smile. Of course I had to run back to work... and was going to ask my coworker to come pick me up. It didn't even dawn to me to ask them for a ride after I had troubled them, but Manuel had already grabbed his keys and started clearing the front seat of the pickup truck! I was amazed by their continued excellent service - even after me screwing up! I will be back here for ALL my tire services and auto repair needs! Amazing shop! I needed new tires and an alignment on my truck before the rain hit today. I called yesterday and spoke with Jesse, who I later found out was the owner. He gave me a call back after 10 minutes with the quote that I requested. The price was fair, and I was able to set an appointment time for as soon as I got off work the next day. I purchased 4 new tires for my truck as well as an alignment. Everything went smoothly, he stuck to the appointment time and the price and now my truck drives great in the rain! These are main guys who worked at Tyre Treds that had the big Paul Bunyan statue on Mission Blvd. Good to know the same old crew, minus the owner, is running their own little business venture. Found them through yelp and so glad that I did! Called them at 10am and said they could get me in at 1130. Came in, they immediately started working on my car for the wheel alignment. Done in 35 mins and instead of charging what they originally quoted me at, they said that it wasn't going to cost as much in labor so they adjusted the price to $20 lower! I mean how's that for integrity and just being good businessmen!? Car drives straight, they showed me the report on what adjustments they made and ensured that I understood what was done to make the changes. Gotta love an honest business and those who run it! Really experienced shop! I would suggest Treds to anyone who needs new tires or alignment. I have a 1999 Nissan Frontier and wanted to go bigger on the tires but my truck is stock. Jesse helped me pick out a pair of tires that would fit and give it a more rugged look. He was very accommodating and Butch did a great job adjusting my torsion bars just right so my tires wouldn't rub. They do AMAZING work; they aren't some half rate place like other tire shops. Really nice people here. I got a flat tire this morning and brought it to them. They can get the tire specific to my car in two hours but i did not live in the area and did not have that much time to wait. They're cool with that, no pushy sales whatsoever. Jesse and Butch are not only experts but they are incredibly honest, experienced and inexpensive! They've saved me, my boyfriend and my other friend thousands of dollars. No really...thousands. Jesse did a lot of research for my friend's VW Rialta (adding a lift kit to help with suspension problems) and was zero pressure about whether he followed his recommendations or not. My boyfriend and I have been going to Treds since they opened in 2011. Our most recent visit involved a broken control arm. We were stuck on the side of the road and couldn't move the car. They came down and placed a piece of wood in between the frame and the knuckle since it was close to their shop. Had parts and repaired in no time. I would recommend them to anyone. My experience was not good. Guy behind the counter looked high and the service done to my car was not professional.

I came first thing at 9am since that's the time it says they opened. I had even called the day before to confirm, so I show up at 9 and no one is there. I wait 25 mins still no,one there. So I leave. I call at 935 and someone answers the phone and I ask what.time do you guys open, he says 9. Ha not even knowing I had been there at 9 for 25 mins. So I ask if they have time to do an alignment and he says the guy won't be in until maybe around 10, but that he has an apt at 1030 and 1130, yet on the door it says no appointments and when I called the day before was told the same thing. The whole experience was unprofessional and I'm glad I didn't take my car here to get fixed. read more

We have a Jeep Wrangler that needed a complete brake job. We called four mechanics before calling Treds at the recommendation of a friend. Everyone told us that it cost $900 to $950. Jessie gave us a flat quote on the labor and informed us the cost for each part needed to do the repair. He said it would cost $450 in total! That's 1/2 the cost of other mechanics. We also had a rear lock that would not lock properly and the other mechanics refused to give us a quote or told us they didn't do that type of work. (They said they wouldn't know until they open the lock box.) Jessie and Butch looked at the problem, fixed it within 10 minutes, and told us that the service was free since it was so easy for them. I really appreciate how these guys really try to save people money. I am a legal aid lawyer so the savings is crucial! When we came to get the Jeep, Jessie explained everything that was wrong to us. He even took out the old parts and put it next to a used part to illustrate the problems. Jessie informed us every step of the way about the status of our car. These guys are totally trustworthy. Frankly, I think they might have been worth more than what they charged my husband and I. Everyone at Treds is just so nice! They are salt of the earth kind of guys. I have been in the east bay for six years and struggled to find a great mechanic...one that doesn't make me feel like I am getting robbed. I took my car here last week because I knew most of the guys from the old shop they worked at. I do not trust anyone else with my tires and brakes because I know these guys do a GREAT job. They have always been friendly people and really care about their customers needs. I am more than willing to spend any amount of money with them because I know that I am going to get the best service and products out there. It is really hard to find that combination nowadays. Small businesses are the way to go in this economy. I see that they have worked very hard to achieve the reputation they have and I will support them all the way. Found Treds through Yelp and gave them a call. I told them I only had my 1 hour lunch break and they told me they would finish my wheel alignment in 45 mins. Came in and they told me my alignment was fine but found the real problem, 1 of my rims was bent! They gave me some advice as to try and find another rim or to see if the tire balance helped. TL;DR: Fast, efficient, cost-effective wheel service. Had a slow leak in the driver-side front tire. I called and asked when they could take a look at it... "how about now?" After driving over and explaining how quickly it took the tire to lose air pressure, he quickly found the screw. 20 minutes later the car was buttoned up and I was on my way.
