We weren't in a rush, so it didn't really bother us. The husband was quite hungry, so we ended up over-ordering -- House Chips & Cheese, Potato Bacon Pizza, Short-Rib Melt and Pastrami. It all came our pretty fast and it was ALOT (lol)! The House Chips were generous, fresh and tasty. The Potato Bacon pizza was delicious! The sandwiches, although flavorful, were kinda skimpy. We felt that we were biting into mostly bread. The fries were hot and super crispy. Service was great overall. There's a flat screen TV in the middle of the dining room that was showing college football. I liked that takeout boxes for leftovers were easily accessible to everyone. There's ample seating inside and several picnic tables at the shared area outside. The layout is nice with three connected establishments -- Freda's, Rori's and Topa Topa. After about 10 minutes Christian came out to inform us they had run out of mushrooms...then asked if we'd like to try their highly requested potato and bacon...we welcomed the possibility. He then very kindly brought us out delicious restaurant made potato chips and cheese dip, on the house, since he felt we had waited so long for our pizza. He immediately struck me as a very kindly brought and considerate young man...something that seems rare these days...especially when viewing society as a senior citizen. I highly recommend the quality of the pizza and enjoyed the service provided as well.

However we were quite happy with the thickness of the crust (not a big fan of a lot of bread). The sauce, cheese and crust were quite good. Their large is only 16", but that was okay. The prices were not too extreme (I always prefer the 18" pies). All in all it was a great experience, and the food was good. It can get crowded with families so plan your visit accordingly.

What ended up in my pizza box can only be described as a hate crime. How does this happen? I even asked for it to be well done and it was still undercooked. The cheese tasted like wax. They put the sauce in containers on the side which was watery and had lacked flavor. It didn't seem like anyone knew how to make this. I tried to share it with everyone in the office. Light and delicate sauce with full flavor. A generous portion, I took about 1/2 home! Our entrees each came with a choice of soup or salad. Hubs chose Italian Wedding and I went with Minestrone. (Side note: I knew well and good I would be having 2 soups, so I wanted to try both. ;-D) Both were made from scratch and delicious! Weekdays they have a deal for a large pepperoni or cheese pizza with 3 meatballs and two cookies for 35 bucks. Pretty fair. Cookies like the junk you get in a tube. Definitely not respecting that craft. Bummer is you can't modify it with less or no cheese. You have to call them and deal with some AI robot and when you finally get connected to a human it's too late half the time. Really wish they would fix this. But I'm never surprised when a 13-time world champion pizzaiola franchises this kind of thing and doesn't work out the most basic of bugs. Another bonus is the rewards program. At least you get something back at some point for the loyalty. Overall it's better than average. It could be better but if you keep your expectations low, you won't be disappointed.
