My new landscaping company, Yanase Landscaping (!) does a fantastic job and pays attention to all the details. My experience with Shoreline is that they are at pains to do anything other than mow. And, don't expect them to make up for rain days or holidays. Weeks would go by without them coming by due to rain and holidays. In 10 years they never once made up a single day. How I got fired: I recently had contractors doing a lot of work on the house. The contractors were in the backyard for months and I told Shoreline they could skip servicing the backyard until further notice. 3 months went by where they were only mowing the front lawn and did nothing else. Yet, I paid them for full service. When the construction was done, I asked Shoreline to do two very simple projects: Reseed the backyard and remove some plants. They agreed and said they would get it done. I chased them for weeks to do what they promised. I left voice messages and texts with zero response. I finally reached out to the owner and got a response from his son saying he'd been without a phone for weeks. Really??? A twentysomething kid, with a family and business to run is without a mobile phone for weeks? When I questioned him he simply left. When the next day for service rolled around the following week, I received a text saying they were no longer going to service my property and instead were going to concentrate on commercial landscaping. Yet, I see them in the neighborhood every week. If you want a Mow, Blow and Go landscaper who won't do anything more and won't live up to promises, go no further! Otherwise, I would give them a hard pass!

So here it is. Alfonso is on it. He and his crew are reliable and friendly. I've used more than few landscape services in my life and the good ones bring more than just the usual service. The good ones are nice people. The good ones return texts and phone calls promptly even when you accidentally text them on Sunday. The good ones will accommodate you when you say, "Hey, I'm having a small party this weekend. Can you come buy on Friday or Saturday and make everything good?" Shoreline is one of the good ones. Alfonso and his crew are not mow-and-blow. Alfonso takes the time to adjust micro sprinkler lines, add lines where needed, carefully prune plants, keeps vines and hedges geometrically sharp, etc. I mean, yes, they mow lawns and, yes, they use a leaf blower... but it's so much more than that. His price seems right, too. I don't think he raised his fee once in three years until I sort of pushed it on him.

This company is DBA YourWayTree Service as well…read more I hired this company to clean a drainage swale owned by a residential community association. As a direct result of the company's "maintenance," 1. There was considerable breakage in the cement swale including a large chunk missing from the swale and dumped on the adjacent property's slope. Also evident is large cracking across the width of the swale where it appears that other cement pieces will be caused to separate. This was not evident prior to the company performing maintenance. Richard, the estimator, toured the property a week before the maintenance. I traversed that swale with six other companies that day and multiple times prior to the company's presence and not once was any damage of that sort observed by any party. Photo 1 was taken post cleanup. 2. There was considerable dumping on the property of an owner/community member. Photo 2 was taken less than 24 hours before the company arrived for maintenance. Photo 3 was taken less than an hour after the company departed. No response from company. We will be pursuing legal action. Response to owners reply: Maybe you should use your eyes. Dumping dirt and degrading an owner's property is unacceptable. Your company was not hired to pile dirt onto an owner's property. Reading through these reviews, your company has a history of shoving debris to a neighboring property.
