Do you struggle to stay focused or just get bored working from home? If so, then Treehouse is a great change of scenery. The co-working space is modern, clean, and super open with tons of natural light. Something about seeing everyone else working around me made me way more productive. All the tables have outlets, and there's a refillable water foundation and pretty much everything you need to settle in and work for a few hours. My biggest tip: get here early! I arrived around 10 AM and had no problem finding a table, but by noon, almost every seat was taken. I also tried the poke bowl and double smash burger. The food wasn't that great, but it definitely does the job if you get hungry and don't want to leave. Overall, a really cool and productive space that gets me out of the house. I could definitely see myself coming here at least once a week.

    Avocado Toast with Bacon

Cute spot to grab breakfast and work. I ordered a Toffee Crunch Mocha (3/5). It tasted like toffee and mocha. I like my coffee hot and it was served warm. I also tried their Avocado Toast and added bacon on the side (2.5/5). The bread was on the verge of being stale and the toast was a bit bland. It had a generous portion of avocado and I liked the pickled red onions but I think balsamic vinaigrette would have been good to add to it.

Grown-up cafeteria aka "dining collective and community hub" - so bright, spacious, and modern that I could happily remote-work here all day! Met a girlfriend for lunch and while her Birria Tacos (beef, onion, cilantro, corn tortillas, salsa roja) were disappointingly underfilled, my Mediterranean Bowl (grilled chicken, harrissa carrots, red peppers, turmeric cauliflower, feta, figs, garlic yogurt vinaigrette) was much more substantive. Onion Rings (served with house dressing) were well-fried. This place is pretty much all self-service (order and pick up at the counter), but staff will direct you to the water station, utensils area, etc. if you get a bit lost like I did!

Dot Cake Matcha & Cheesecake Matcha

Such an awesome space to work, have food & drinks! Only open on weekdays, nestled between corporate buildings, very airy space and amazing architecture. They have a section where people can work and another section for community. We definitely recommend the Dot Cake Matcha & Cheesecake (Biscoff) Matcha! They're planning on opening another food spot inside soon!

    Excellent hot chicken sandwich

Excellent space for computer work, tons of natural light, looks really nice with open air concept, indoor and outdoor seating on a balcony with a view, wine bar, drinks, coffee bar, excellent food. The hot chicken sandwich was huge, very hot and crispy, super fresh, sweet potato fries were great and a generous portion, comes with a specialty drink. The home brewed teas are good too. $18 seemed fair for the portion and quality considering it comes with fries and a drink. Food always comes out quick, all the workers are friendly.

Outdoor patio seating - covered but can be windy.

Great place to work remotely or hang out with a laptop or book as long as ambient noise and chatter are acceptable. The space is beautiful with plenty of seating in various styles. The food and beverage options are solid though they are low on vegetarian options. The system worked pretty well. You order at the counter and they'll text you when your food is ready. The drinks are called out at the beverage bar area - something to keep in mind if you're solo and leaving your stuff to pick up your items. Parking - plenty of free parking in the parking garage. Take the elevator up to the main level.

I have to say this is probably one of the best co-working space in the area, maybe even in San Diego (atleast out of the ones I've tried). It's a little hidden, you need to walk past the gym and head up the stairs to find the entrance. What really stood out to me is how big the space is. There's every kind of seating you can think of, including tables and chairs for small and big groups, high top tables, standing desks, comfortable couches to chill, even couches with tables! There are a lot of tables inside and outside. I ordered a latte which was good and an avocado toast which was a little disappointing because it was cold, like refrigerated cold, not just room temperature which I wasn't expecting. I wish they had mentioned that upfront, I would have chosen something else. But overall I would come back here for their amazing space.

    Cobb salad

We got this delivered to our office for lunch. I got the Cobb salad which was pretty good! All the ingredients were fresh, but the chicken was a little dry tho. I'll need to stop by and grab some coffee one day and try the other items.

As a remote worker, I needed a change of scenery and I'm so glad I came across Treehouse. There is lots of seating available, but I would recommend if you are working to come with your laptop charged as it may be difficult to find an outlet. There is a section in the middle of the room under the hanging lights that has outlets, however it was packed so I was glad I already had my laptop charged. Food and drinks are both available to purchase. Although it was packed, everyone was respectful and kept it quiet for those who were clearly working/studying. Love the lounge area outside on the patio with comfy sofas. Free wifi and free parking. I will definitely be back!

birria tacos w onion rings and peach black tea

such a beautiful space to study/wfh! they have so many tables, wifi, and outlets! if you come during lunch time, you have to try their food menu. the birria tacos were SO YUMMY and only $12!!! for $5 more, you can get a side of onion rings (which were very crispy and tasty) and a refreshing drink! i tried the peach black tea and it wasn't too sweet :) if you want a sweet drink, you should try one of their matchas or coffees with a cream top or syrup. i tried the matcha with a toffee syrup and it was a little too sweet for me personally, but if you like sweet drinks you'd enjoy it.

This is one of my new top cafes in San Diego! The vibes are immaculate. It's spacious, aesthetic, well designed with high ceilings, plenty of seating, natural light, and outlets. It's the perfect place to stop by for lunch or get work done as there's some background sound but nothing super loud. They have a dining only section and another section where you can pull out your laptop. There's a mixture of tables, couches, etc. not to mention outdoor seating. I'm in love with the space! The food is decent and could be a bit better in my honest opinion which is the only reason I took off a star. I had a Mediterranean bowl and the rice was pretty dry and was in chunks, and some of the ingredients felt a bit overpowering. My friend who got the fries said they were a bit too salty. Service was very kind and friendly though. All to say, I would happily come work here and grab a drink or a bite!

Food 3/5, Ambiance 4/5, Overall 3.5/5 - rounded to 4 stars. I've been seeing Treehouse online as a cool coworking and study spot! I came by with a friend for a Friday afternoon working date. I ended up parking in the cul de sac and walking past the parking garage and up the stairs to get into the restaurant. It really has beautiful and modern interiors, and lots of seating! Love the architecture and tall ceilings and large windows. Half of the restaurant is reserved for dining only and the other half is the study/work space. I will say that the working space was packed when I arrived around 1pm on Friday. All inside tables were taken so we had to sit on a bar seat, which wasn't the most comfortable and not close to any outlets. There was a lot of outdoor seating but most in the sun. It did start to clear out after a couple of hours though. Generally noisy due to a lot of people in the space but nothing headphones couldn't drown out. And I actually don't mind the hustle and bustle of a cafe environment I ordered a mediterranean bowl ($15) and cucumber mint cooler ($2 with the bowl). I always get extra chicken but I probably didn't need to because there was a lot of chicken already! I like the unique and fresh ingredients in the bowl. I did find the chicken to be dry though. The drink was also a little too sweet for my liking. It would have been delicious with lemon maybe to turn into a lemonade so the sour flavors balance the sweet. i'Id be interested to try a different dish though!

I'm so glad I found this place. The inside is very expansive and there are plenty of comfortable seating. The service is also very quick and professional. Would recommend their assortment of fruit juices (it comes with one free refill). This is a great spot to study or catch up with a friend.

    Are pets allowed?

I don't think so, it is a Bio Sciences facility, so I think animals are not allowed.

Pros: I got the half-pound burger with fries and it was really good overall. The burger was super juicy, well-cooked, and had that classic hearty, satisfying taste you want from a solid burger spot. The portion size was generous, especially with the half-pound patty, and the fries were a great side to round out the meal. The location in Pacific Beach is also a big plus. It's in a great area with lots going on, so it's easy to grab food and walk around afterward or make it part of a beach day. The overall vibe of the spot feels casual and fitting for PB--nothing overly fancy, just good comfort food done right. Cons: Since it's in a busy beach area, parking and crowds can be a bit of a challenge depending on the time you go. It's more of a casual grab-and-go or quick dine-in spot, so don't expect a sit-down restaurant experience with a lot of space or quiet seating. During peak beach hours, it can also get pretty busy. Verdict: Overall, Rocky's Burgers is a great spot in Pacific Beach if you're craving a juicy, satisfying burger in a fun beachside area. The half-pound burger and fries hit the spot, and it's a solid choice for a casual meal before or after hanging out in PB.
