Definitely something I'd order again. The space itself is huge with tons of seating, bright and airy even though it's set inside an office building. It has a modern, open vibe that makes it feel more like a community spot than just a café. I also liked that there are other options on-site, like a coffee shop, so it's easy to grab a drink before or after eating. Bottom line: Great food, spacious and inviting atmosphere, and perfect for lunch if you're in the area. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu! read more

UCSD has discovered this place as almost every table in the early afternoon had college kids with their laptops studying at the tables. Mediterranean bowl were mid, however the chicken fingers were delicious. Order at the counter and pick up when it's ready, the food came out pretty fast. Don't know if I'd make a dedicated trip out to dine here again, but if I'm in the local area I'd stop by. read more

This is an incredible co working space! Tons of seating and natural light and the structure has a ton of parking. (Looks like it's in a new business park so go visit before they finish the structure and start charging haha) The staff was very friendly and my food and coffee came out pretty fast. I got the chile smash burger (DELISH) and the toasted marshmallow iced latte. The coffee was pretty good just a little sweet but I think that was just the flavor choice on my part. Treehouse is my new local work remote spot! Great space to be productive or have a meal/coffee! Parking is easy to access and plentiful. The kitchen has an expansive and delicious menu - I got the poke bowl, which was very filling and well made. There's a lot of seating and desk space, however, my two gripes are 1. Not enough plugs. If you're going to advertise this as a shared community workspace - Get more plugs! There was a row of them above booth style seating in the center, but if you don't snag one of those, charge before coming! 2. The WiFi was not working! My friend and I ended up using our hot spots and when I inquired about this to one of the staff, they unfortunately did not have a solution. Treehouse Sorrento Valley is such a cool spot tucked into the biosciences business park. I stopped by The Can Do and ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and their avocado toast. The service was friendly and the iced latte was honestly one of the best I've had in San Diego: 10/10. Smooth, balanced vanilla flavor (not too sweet or artificial) and they use the good ice (Chick-fil-A ice fans will know what I mean). The avocado toast was $11 and came out absolutely beautiful with edible flowers on top and a generous amount of avocado. I'd rate it 8.9/10. The only thing I'd change is slightly larger bread since there were a few times I went to take a bite and avocado was falling off, which is not a bad problem to have, just something I noticed. Yes, the total was a little over $20 with tip, but the space itself makes it worth it. The design is stunning, there's lots of seating (though the shady spots fill up fast in the late morning), and the overall vibe is inspiring. It felt good like being surrounded by other working creatives: people on laptops, recording content, editing, etc. The atmosphere is easily a 10/10. I'd definitely come back, especially for the coffee. A great find in Sorrento Mesa. read more

I really wanted to like this spot for remote work, but the service needs work. I had a run-in with a staff member regarding the restroom being closed; I did walk into the bathroom while it was labeled as closed because there is only one restroom and I needed to go. I tried to say hello and find a staff member to ask but no one was around. When I came out of the bathroom the attendant was magically standing there. I apologized for being in there and tried to explain but was met with a very rude and dismissive tone. Despite my apologies and attempts to be polite, I was yelled at while the employee stayed glued to her phone. It felt very unprofessional and dismissive. A little kindness goes a long way, especially when a customer is clearly trying to be cooperative. I hope management addresses how staff communicates with guests, as it really ruined the atmosphere for me. read more

I've been meaning to visit this place for the longest time! I didn't if I should park in the garage so i parked on the street. I came in for a quick lunch and was shocked to see how many students were studying away on their computers. I ordered my lunch at the screen. Their menu is a bit limited but their drinks looked nice. Prices are on the higher end. I ordered the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. It was ok, a bit heavy and greasy but the fries were great. It came with a mysterious pink sauce but it didn't taste the greatest to me. If the weather was nicer, I would have sat outside. Also the seating indoors is a little tight/close together. But i'm sure it's a very good study spot. I love the idea of the open windows and high ceiling. The front staff seemed to be a little frazzled, running all the juices, wine bar, and coffee stations. A classy food and cool happy hour spot, perhaps something new for Qualcommers.... the happy hour is not yet open one guy said maybe in 2 months, but they already have full lunch and breakfast menu, the espresso spot is brewing Cafe Motto coffee beans. I am not a fan of Cafe Motto as I am a Bird Rock and Zumbar kind of espresso afficionado. OK, not the easiest place to find, but a little extra walking never hurt anyone. This place is gorgeous inside and out. Many different types of seating (booths, chairs, bar stools, outdoor or indoor). We arrived at 11 am, and it was pretty quiet inside, but by noon, this place was rocking. I had the birria tacos and my friend had the "best cobb salad ever." My birra tacos were tasty, especially with the dipping sauce. The flavored drinks were delicious - I had a combo green tea and lemonade. Added bonus - you get a refill. All of the employees were friendly, gracious and helpful. We will definitely be back to try out their happy hour. My only recommendation is added signage (at the stairs, in the parking ramp, outside/inside the elevator). read more

This occurred less than an hour ago. I'm visiting SD for New Years. Last night I was catching up with some friends, who live in the area. After leaving their place, I wanted to be productive somewhere while I wait to pick up my friend from the airport. I heard this place was a good spot to get stuff done. After looking around for a good place to sit with an outlet, I finally found one. A few minutes later, an older gentleman asks me to leave as I have my leftovers (from last night) with me next to my backpack. I brought my leftovers so it would not get spoiled in the car. My food was not opened at all and I explained to the individual I would be purchasing a coffee/matcha, I just wanted to situate myself first. He was adamant I leave or throw my food away despite this. It was the first time I've felt unwelcome at a coffee shop/cafe.
