This is a good place to come and chill. It has indoor, outdoor and even covered rooftop seating. It was hot yesterday, but the top overhead significantly reduced the temperature. The staff is friendly and there is even free live music. As far as drinks, not all the bars are equal but for a short walk, you can have wine, beer, spirits and a few fancy cocktails. The food is limited to the several food trucks parked on site. Just think a nice place to relax!

Visited Hinnant with my daughter for their first Winery experience. We had such a great time. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and aestically pleasing. To keep it light, the bartender offered us a Moscato which was perfect for the day. The selection of finger foods were great for purchase as well. This vineyard was beautifully and carefully decorated. They had plenty of parking, seating and places for photo ops. Would definitely visit again.

Awesome venue with a beautiful scenery and multiple properties. There is soo much to choose from when you visit this place. Whether you want to enjoy wine only or have drinks or even beer.. they have it all! The prices are reasonable and if you get hungry, most times food trucks are available on site. I was in awe of the property and the many areas you can be at. They have many indoor/outdoor seating as well as a cool rooftop! There is plenty of space for parking and the staff are very accommodating. I will be back for sure!

Beautiful winery and brewery to go with friends, sit outside and listen to music. This place has an upscale vibe, so I'd recommend dressing up a bit. No tee shirts and flip flops. There are so many seating options, we sat by small stage where guitarist played and we had a beautiful view of rolling meadows. You get your own drinks from inside where big stage is and then you can also go to various food trucks and get food. All of this is super easy. Both food trucks and Zinc House take cash or cards. I think hundreds of people can sit comfortably among all the seating areas, this is a big place. All of the staff were super helpful, many were busy picking up glasses as we finished. There is no rushing here, we were there for 3 hours and because there are so many tables, you never feel pressed to leave. You can bring snacks or food from home, although the website encourages you to support food trucks. We ate from middle eastern food truck, delicious hot food, reasonably priced. All in all a great night. I forgot to say guitarist was very good. He played a lot of songs we knew. Band on main stage was more heavy metal, I did enjoy them too.

I'm constantly blown away that a place like ZincHouse exists so close by. The atmosphere is unmatched. It's peaceful, inviting, and perfect for unwinding after a long day or enjoying a relaxing weekend. I love the flexibility here. You can bring your own food or enjoy whatever food truck they have that day which makes every visit feel a little different. The views are beautiful and whether you sit indoors or outdoors, the space is just easy to enjoy. Their wine selection is fantastic as well. There's truly something for everyone and I always leave happy It's one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. And the drinks come out fast considering how busy it gets. If you're looking for a relaxing, scenic spot with great wine and amazing vibes, ZincHouse is it. Highly recommend!

ZincHouse has reasonably priced wine, a huge selection, and beautiful grounds - the scenery scenery / landscape cannot be beat in Durham. Driving up from the main entrance, it's like being transported - grand gates, sprawling vineyard. A few not ideal things to note: -If you go on a weekend night, parking will be brutal. It gets packed so you may need to park in the far lot and be golf carted in. It's a production. -As mentioned, it gets packed so ordering from one of the bars may take ages -No kids / babies - even during the day. I understand the vibe they want but I'm surprised they're not open to this during the day -Live music is LOUD - like yell to be heard loud Even with the above, I still love ZincHouse and would come regularly - maybe on a Wednesday or Thursday!

Wow, what a cool place! I am mad at myself that I haven't been here sooner, considering how close I live. I came with friends on the 3rd of July. It was pretty crowded but we had a great time regardless. All the wines and beers we had were delicious. I had the Cereal for Dinner Blonde Ale and then split a bottle of the Chenin Blanc with a friend. They have multiple bars throughout (inside, outside, upstairs, further upstairs, etc). There were a bunch of food trucks when we came as well. I prefer to drink red wine, but since we came mid summer when it was HOT I only had white wine and beer. I can't wait to come back to try their red wines!

ZincHouse is a real gem. I enjoy coming here on a hot day with friends or family and for special occasions. Every time I visit the music and service does not disappoint no matter how crowded it may be that day - even on July 4th! The food trucks are great since there are so many options to choose from. I went this past Easter weekend and while it was crowded it was still very enjoyable since the place is very spacious. The wine was great and the employees were very kind and respectful - including the parking attendant when we encountered an issue while parking.

What a find! I've been here a few times for book clubs and bigger group gatherings. I was shocked by how opulent and grand it was when I first pulled up - followed by an insane crowd and parking situation! But there is plenty of space for a crowd and they have a little shuttle driving people to and from parking, which was easy and quick! They have food trucks in the entrance, a few established restaurants, and places to purchase drinks! But it definitely feels like a free for all with no servers or staff. It's all self seat and get your own drinks and food. There is lots of covered and exposed seating!

Zinc House is a little escape from reality right in Durham, NC. Zinc House offers a wide variety of things to do, you can do a wine tasting at their wine bar, a bourbon tasting at their House of Bourbon or smoke a cigar out by their cigar lounge! When I went they had two food trucks on site, a Greek Food truck and a Caribbean food truck as well! The wines they had were delicious I didn't try any of their bourbon selections. I loved how peaceful it was out there, it felt like you were on a resort. There were walkways to all the different houses and it was fun just walking around and taking everything in. Everyone was very helpful and friendly!

This is an experience and not just a meal. Enter through the vineyard area and park wherever you can find a space. Grab a drink from one of the many bars available and then talk a walk through to see all your options. The live bands were amazing. There are food trucks set up and so many decisions to make. Everything we tried was amazing. This is a place to party on a weekend or have a beautiful quiet Sunday afternoon. Don't forget to visit the coffee shop too....great coffee! We will be back!

Zinchouse winery is an absolute gem of a find! The whole area is so stunning and showcases beautiful decor everywhere, but keeps a fun chill vibe. We decided to split one bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc and it was so good! Perfect amount of sweet flavors. It was very crowded when we went but the line moves decently fast and they bring it right away. It was just extremely hard to find seating even with options all around the area!

The outdoor area is expansive and gorgeous. The green muscadine was yum yum

OMG. I can't believe this place is in the middle of Durham. Went there for St Pattys day and had a blast. The ambiance is off the hook. The band was great and the land is beautiful. It feels you're at the Omni. I wanted to especially note the espresso martini bar which is fantastic and "Joy" in the fabulous boutique on the premises. It's A must go

The wine list is broad and thoughtfully curated, with options that feel approachable whether you're a casual wine drinker or someone looking to try something new. The sommeliers were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us find something we loved. The space itself is adorable, with eclectic décor and cozy lighting that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. It's a great spot for conversation and a relaxed evening with friends. The only downside is that the space is fairly small, and I would have loved to see one or two more lower seating options for small groups rather than mostly high tops. That said, I could absolutely see us coming back for a pre- or post-theater glass of wine or an easy catch-up night.

That board was so good--I can't stop thinking about it. The toasted baguette slices with truffle salami and mustard? Unreal. It was the perfect little snack to share. We also had the citrus lavender crème brûlée, which was surprisingly delicious. I don't usually go for crème brûlée, but this one was light, not overly sweet, and just had a really nice flavor. I've also tried their shepherd's pie before and loved it--wish it was still on the menu! The vibe inside is moody and cozy, and they've got a cute outdoor patio too. Overall, such a great spot. A little pricey, but I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend checking out Killer Queen.

Don't let the name throw you, because it's not super spicy, it just has a nice kick to it with delicious potatoes accompanying the very moist and flavorful chicken. The way the kitchen team at Barcelona handles the preparation of the eggplant caponata is impressive and very unique. Other favorites on the tapas section of the menu recently are stuffed piquillos, corn zucchini bunuelos (think fair food turned healthy!), Wagyu carpaccio, lamb kofta, and pulpo gallego. Remember that their tapas offerings rotate in and out, oftentimes based on the season and availability of fresh products. Since Carolina Ale House was close to where we were staying, we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere definitely had that classic ale house vibe, with plenty of local beers on tap along with other familiar beer options. It felt like a nice casual spot to unwind and grab a bite. We all ordered something different, which was nice for variety. I had the hibachi shrimp, while the others had tacos with chips, and my son kept it simple with chicken tenders and fries. The food overall was okay, but my dish was a little disappointing. Everything on my plate--between the soup, pilaf rice, broccoli, and shrimp--seemed to carry almost the exact same flavor, so I didn't really get to enjoy the distinct hibachi taste I was expecting. One highlight for me was definitely the spicy margarita--the flavor was delicious. My husband also really enjoyed the "Ale Yeah" 16 oz. Bloody Mary along with one of the local North Carolina draft beers, which was a nice touch. Our server, Trevan, did a great job taking care of us. He was accommodating, attentive, and made sure we had what we needed throughout our visit, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd rate this place a 3/5. It was a decent stop for a casual meal and drinks, but the food could have had a bit more flavor separation and wow factor
