One of Royal Palm Beach's longtime family restaurants probably has some of the best wings in the western communities. Plump, juicy, and cooked to perfection with various types of sauces. As a creature of habit, we usually get honey garlic teriyaki - it's finger lickin' good with a side of curly fries. Have tried the ribs in the past and they were solid. It's a family owned restaurant that just has that Florida feel to it when you walk in. We've mostly gone for lunch but this last time we came on a Friday evening. They had a super talented country singer who was maybe 18-20 yrs old but she had the place moving and rocking. It's not our type of live music but she killed it! When we first walked in, we were greeted right away and told we could sit anywhere. The bar has two different sides: a quieter side and another side where they were hosting trivia. We decided to sit on the trivia side, which made for a fun atmosphere. Overall, it has that typical hole-in-the-wall bar feel, and everyone was very friendly. We were told they're known for their ribs and wings, so I ordered the platter that included both. For appetizers, we got the cheese curds and fried pickles. They were okay, but nothing particularly memorable. When the ribs and wings came out, the first thing I noticed was how much sauce was all over the plate. It looked like someone had tried to wipe some of it away, but it wasn't cleaned up very well. My wings were also cold when they arrived. I mentioned it to the staff, and they were very nice about taking them back and bringing out a fresh plate. While waiting, I tried a wing and the sauce reminded me a lot of ketchup. I had asked for the sauce on the side, but the replacement wings came out completely drenched in it. That was a bit of a turnoff at first, although I have to admit the wings themselves ended up tasting pretty good. The cornbread was probably the weakest part of the meal for me. I just didn't enjoy it. The potato wedges, on the other hand, were decent and had a generous amount of Parmesan on them. Before my second plate of ribs came out, I told the waitress not to bother bringing them because I realized I wasn't a fan of the sauced version. Another customer mentioned that I should have ordered them dry, so at least I know that for next time. All in all, it was an okay experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially when they replaced the cold wings, but the food was hit or miss for me. 04/08/26 What a disappointing experience. I love, love, love the wings at Tree's Wings, but after this visit, we won't be returning. We entered the restaurant just before 9pm. The door says they are open till midnight daily, but what we experienced seemed like a restaurant closing for the night that didn't want to be bothered. Three of us ordered "all you can eat wings," which turned out to be two times of getting wings because it took 30 minutes to get each order and the server showed no interest in getting us more wings. My son asked if he could have half of one flavor and half of another and she didn't know. He ended up telling her he wanted sweet and sour and would also have citrus chipotle if they could do two flavors. Thirty minutes later when he got his food, she told him they didn't have sweet and sour, which is the one he actually wanted. He also asked for spicy peach. Nope they don't have that. He asked for key lime BBQ. Again, they don't have that. For a place known for wings, they were missing the mark. Two of us ordered the combo platters - mozzarella sticks, baked potatoes, chicken tenders, wings, baked beans between the two platters. Most stuff was cold. We weren't given silverware. We asked the server when she delivered the food and she didn't return. We asked the girl cleaning a table and she told us she would do it when she was done wiping the table even though she hadn't even started wiping down the table. She came back a while later with a single fork in her hand and said they didn't have any silverware rolled. We then asked our server again for silverware and she returned with flimsy plastic togo silverware and said the real silverware was all dirty. Mind you, there was one other table seated in the entire restaurant. My brother was left to eat his room temperature potato with a fork that looked like it was going to break every time he stuck it in the potato. He gave up and left more than half uneaten. We had also let the server know the mozzarella sticks were cold. The manager ended up bringing out new ones - not apologizing, just dropping them off and leaving. After spending over an hour eating less than mediocre food, we were tired and just wanted to leave. Our server did not return. I went to the takeout desk and asked for our check. She gave us our check and asked how everything was. I told her how disappointed we were and how half the food from the combos was going in the trash. She apologized, told us they were having an off night, and that they were revamping the menu and taking off sauces that were not that popular. She did apply the "family discount" to our bill which I think was 15% or less. It still didn't make up for the poor experience and didn't even cover one combo meal which were not worth the approximately $22 they charged for each platter and food that we mostly left uneaten. The wings were flabby instead of crispy, the hot wings weren't even mild, the hot crispy fries were warm not hot, and the celery was not washed it had dirt on several different stalks. The server took it away and replaced it with more dirty celery. The cooks and kitchen staff must be too busy to wash the celery. This place is going to get someone very sick. read more

I have been coming to Tree's Wings for over 20 years. Everyone I come to town, I make sure to visit. Not sure what is going on but I was completely ignored. I arrived and stood at the front. Had a few people look at me from the back and the bartender walked past me. Nobody said a word to me. Rather than wait for a table, I went to the bar. I figured at least this way I could get served. I sat at the bar for at least 10 minutes and nobody said hello or someone will be right with you. Not sure where the bartender went but she was nowhere to be found. Last visit walked in sat at the bar place was empty took 20 mins to get asked what i wanted to drink. Went in there today figured it was a fluke so id try again. Went last night for a friends birthday party/trivia night. The trivia was alot of fun, but the wings were horrid. I asked for the buffalo sauce from their selection and was told they dont have "buffalo, " only mild, medium and hot. Okay... then there were fruit flies hanging out by the food. Our friend orderes fish and chips and had to he asked for them multiple times. Finally, it arrived, 45 mins later and it wasnt even warm. Something isnt right here. The atmosphere is cozy, but the food needs some serious oversight and staff needs to know their menu. Hard to imagine having the experience we had last night at Trees wings. We arrived at 6:50pm. We were a party of 5. We sat down at a table. It's karaoke night things are busy but not ridiculous. One person in our group signed up to sing. At about 45 minutes in we went to a person and asked if we would be waited on soon and could we get 5 waters. They said sure. But never came. About 8:05 son went to bar and got some waters and the bar guy brought waters for the table and asked if we wanted food. At that point we'd been there for 1hour and 20 minutes. We were afraid it would be another 2 if we waited. We drank our water and left 1 hour and a half after arriving. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the karaoke but no food or drinks. We've been to Trees many times over the years, but most of our meals have been average at best. I'm always puzzled when people call it the best wings in the area. If this is truly the best, it's a bit disappointing. Our most recent visit was for takeout. We ordered several flavors of wings--mine were supposed to be mild buffalo and well done, while my daughter's honey garlic wings were specifically not to be well done. We also included a kids' meal and one other dish. The total, with tip, came to over $80. When we got home, we realized the order was wrong, which was incredibly frustrating. I didn't bother calling to complain--by that point, what could Trees have done to fix it? I was so frustrated I decided I wouldn't eat there again, and I certainly wasn't going to drive back to sort it out. What a delicious lunch I had today! I try to order something different every time I eat here.. Everything is so yummy! I ordered the cheese curds with the jalapeño plum dipping sauce. Ok this is my new favorite! Please refer to my pictures! Lightly battered and flash fried-cooked to perfection! A huge portion and the jalapeño plum sauce is amazing! Just a bit of a kick! Trees is a local favorite. It has been around for a LONG time. It is definitely a dive and people love to come here to watch sports, live music, trivia, etc. Their wings are definitely the best around - By far. The service is hit-or-miss and it definitely isn't the cleanest place, but I give this spot 4 stars all day because of their consistency... and the fact that they have the best wings. They have indoor and outdoor seating, full bar, and a fun atmosphere. They do in-house delivery with their own branded cars. Everyone can calm down, they changed the fries. This is my first time here and I was super skeptical with all of the bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was great! He was attentive and the food came out pretty quickly. We never had to ask for refills and brought my sauce refills. I will say the hot wings aren't hot, it's more of a medium. If you loved your life you wouldn't go here. Although the service is speedy, it's not for good. We got 12 piece buffalo flats and lemon pepper, and 2 sprites. We waited for about 10 minutes, which is pretty quick to cook 24 pieces of wings and making sure it's ok. While we waited, my friend saw a roach in her drink. When we told the server, she shunned it off, dumped the cup, and didn't get her another drink. When the food got to us, My friend, being sarcastic, said to see if the meat is cooked, so I did, and guess what? It wasn't! So we told another server about it, and she ignored us. We left 10 dollars on the table and left, even though we shouldn't have had to pay. On our walk out, my friend almost stepped on a roach, and it smelt pretty odd, also, while we were sitting down, we saw crumbs on the table and it clearly wasn't wiped down. We ordered through Doordash and were pleasantly surprised considering all the bad reviews. These were genuinely the best wings we've had - literally ever. We also ordered the half rack of ribs & baked beans (sorry for no picture!) which were both great. I loved the house dressing, but my boyfriend didn't and they unfortunately don't offer ranch (odd). The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the macaroni - it was super cheesy but I wasn't a fan of the flavor - reminded me of Popeyes or KFC macaroni.
