And a welcoming goodie bag w dog treat when we arrived too. I hope we travel through again for longer than 4 days next time. I wish all RV parks were like this!

They have very small sheds that you're supposed to be able to use for storage that are the size of a closet. They don't allow dog fences they don't allow you to put anything out basically. Other than the clubhouse and pool that's the only thing this place has going for it and it's extremely expensive. It's an adult park, which is fine, but they do not allow any children on the premises that includes your grandchildren coming to visit anybody under the age of 18. So if you have family, you definitely don't want to stay here.

This park has been our home for the past 15 months during the construction of our new home on property we purchased three hours away. After researching several RV parks, we selected DFW Mid-Cities primarily due to its proximity to our family in Fort Worth and, as bonus, its closeness to numerous favorite places: Texas Rangers home games, the Dallas Cowboys, Fort Worth Stockyards, shopping centers, restaurants, golf courses, and more. Accessing the park is convenient, as it is situated just off Interstate 20 near SH 287-- it's easy for us to travel between the park and our home construction site. The park features a variety of covered, uncovered, full-connection spaces in different sizes. (We parked our 45-foot Toy-Hauler in a spacious, covered area that provided ample room for our dually truck, my wife's sedan and my Harley.) Amenities include internet access, a dog park, clean restrooms/showers, a laundry facility, a propane filling station, a fitness room, and a large clubhouse for a fun spot to hang out (particularly if the weather gets spooky), ensuring a comfortable and safe stay for families, solo travelers and the pets. We thoroughly enjoyed our 'temporary' home and will especially miss the exceptional staff. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly, without hesitation, recommend DFW Mid-Cities RV Park to all fellow my RV enthusiasts and travelers.

She also is quite offensive in how she talks about the residents and others around the place. They threaten action for the smallest issues (like eviction for reports of dog poop in the yard despite you picking up after your dogs. Mary also makes up rules on the spot if she doesn't like you for whatever reason. One of my favorites is that they don't allow gas-powered vehicles on the property (like golf carts) but she drives around in an incredibly loud Mule UTV. The location is nice, and the amenities are decent, but the people you deal with up there are horrible. Every transaction I have had with them over the last year has been bad. If you use their storage they charge you for the full month and no refunds or proration. Their excuse is that the owner thinks the amount is "just so cheap". It's not in their contract, nor is it talked about at the start of the contract. Additionally if you start service there they will not let you setup separate accounts for your business and your personal uses. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU PLAN TO ENJOY YOUR LIFE.

Let me first clarify, this is the closest "campground" to downtown Dallas. The RV daily spots are…read morein the front, but since you have to go towards the back, into the trailer park, you get to experience the entire property when you check in. Do be scared. Be very scared. I decided to give it a whirl and take it all in as an "experience". Plus, I wasn't the one who picked the place out and I didn't want to be rude. The sign out front says Lady Luck "Modern". I would say that this is anything but modern. It's by far the oldest RV park I've ever been to. I'm guessing it has about 100 spots, only about 5 were available for the daily stays, making it 95% of a trailer park. Like, chain link fence around the RV spots, "beware of the dog" postings, trailer park. Yep. I'm rating a trailer park a four. Why? Because it was super cheap for our two night stay, with full hook ups, and it is like 10 minutes to downtown Dallas. I didn't stay outside or use the amenities anyways and the only time I drove toward the middle of the property was at check in. I stayed two nights and I only seen two people outside while I was there. So, the residents keep to themselves. I would definitely not bring a kid here, not only because of the previous reviews, but because the "playground" looked to be from the 1970s. Actually come to think of it, the entire property was straight up out of the 1970s. I mean, I like vintage and all, but this was slightly risky. The dog park, that's a similar story to the playground. The owners must collect old signs and metal ornaments and decided to place them about the front. There really isn't a way to explain it properly, just look at the pictures. It's loud, especially for the daily rated spots upfront, those you can even see the trucks and traffic passing the freeway and on I35. We just turned the air conditioning up and tv on and rolled with it. If you can tolerate the sound and can keep an open mind, do it. When you go RVing, life's a trip. Make sure you clarify whether you have a 30 amp or a 50 amp. Otherwise, I think they automatically charge for a 50 amp. Cash and check only... told ya, 1970s.

We received 10% off on the first night for a welcome discount and pricing was very reasonable there was free wifi in which the signal was great. We saw on the website they had a laundry room which was very important to us since the last two RV parks we stayed at didn't offer laundry accommodations so we were in dire need of clean clothes. The park looked beautiful and was well kept. The showers and bathrooms were always kept clean and with a family of four we definitely got our fair use of the showers. There was plenty do in the Ft. Worth area - we took the kids to the Ft Worth Zoo and spent another day at Six Flags which the kids had a blast. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at the RV park. The owners were very friendly and checked up on us to make sure we were able to get set up or need anything else. We hope to visit again soon!

My husband called and she said she had to leave early to take her mother-in-law somewhere and told us where to park. He said she sounded like she was very put out. We never got any information for Wi-Fi or anything else and I had to call her the next day because when we went to walk our dog on the very small slab of grass that they have there they have a sign posted saying absolutely no dogs allowed 24 hours surveillance so I had to call and say where am I supposed to walk my dog. At that point she told me she was there all day the previous day when we checked in . I disagreed and told her what she said but nonetheless that was that we were there for show that our grandkids were in at the stockyard. Then when I tried to get the Wi-Fi going I could never get it going and had to use my hotspot which I save for my boondocking. Last things last don't go by the pictures that they have on their website. Park looks pretty there. This is all concrete and looks more like a storage yard than an RV park. We will never stay there again. We plan on coming back to that area next year but will stay at a further place if we have to.
