Jerry and his team did a great job moving our stuff safely and fast. We decided to go with 5 movers and had everything (3 bedrooms with garage condo) packed before they arrived. It took 2.5 h to load everything up (Jerry oversaw the entire operation and disassembled the bed), 30 min transport and another 2 h to unload. No broken furniture and no scratches. I had to move from santa clara to san jose. my husband and i were staying in a 2 bedroom apartment. They movers came in at 9:40am. They wrapped up all the furniture with plastic coverings to ensure it's integrity which is really appreciated it. They moved all our clothes as well very neatly. The packing took about 3 and half hours give or take. What i also liked was that they helped you unpack and take away all the boxes! That was amazing. UPDATE: After finding another moving company, Trek's manager (Dave) ended up reaching out to apologize and make sure I was still able to move at my originally scheduled time. He offered to cover my moving costs. Though it was a far from perfect experience, I did appreciate them making amends, and communication was much better after I tried to cancel. ORIGINAL: tldr; They canceled my move (scheduled 2 weeks ahead of time) at the last minute. It was a TERRIBLE and needlessly stressful experience due to their complete lack of communication. I booked my move 2 weeks ago, but the day of the move, I was told that the movers wouldn't be able to make it to my location that afternoon. The excuse given was that the morning job was taking longer than expected. However, customer service also claimed they tried contacting me 2 days before. While it's possible their call was blocked as spam, I didn't receive any voicemails, texts, or emails. It didn't seem like they tried any alternate ways of notifying me about the problem. (I found out when they texted me the day of the move, so other methods besides calling would've worked.) Also, it seems like a contradiction that my scheduled move had to be pushed due to unforseen circumstances with the morning move...2 days prior to the moving day. read more

They were very honest about all of the costs, did not spam our inbox, and were just generally easy to work with. Will also say they were spot on with the quote, I think in the end it was only ~$100 different than what they originally quoted. All 4 of our movers arrived on time, were nice, pretty efficient, and took a lot of care to move our things. The team padded and wrapped pretty much everything that wasn't a box. Nothing was damaged. Giving 4 instead of 5 stars because only thing was I think they took longer than needed to drive to our new home and the drive is the most expensive part hourly. I had a very bad experience with TrekMovers. Based on the reviews, they seem like they do a great job if you are moving personal home items. I hired them for a Commercial/Business move and they had no clue what they were doing. The toured my space twice and took videos to ensure that everything was documented on what needed to be moved. They said they felt they could get the entire move done in 9 - 11 hours with 4 guys and 2 trucks. They said they knew how to use the forklift and they did not, they did not bring any pallet jacks. At the end of 12 hours, they called it quits and refused to move the balance of my equipment that night or even offer to move it on another day. They tried to charge me for 4 men and 2 trucks when in fact it was mostly 3 guys and 1 truck having to make twice as many trips. They said they took 30 minutes for lunch when in fact it was 1 hour and 10 minutes. The final truckload my employee had to unload the truck because they did not know how to drive a forklift, so they stood watching while we did all that work. I will give credit to the 2 young guys (forgot their names) they were outstanding and busted their butts. Again, they are probably good for residential, but I do not recommend them for commercial or business moves. read more
