Overall our experience was good, but I don't think I would use them again. A little background: It was a super hot day, and I felt bad for the movers. They didn't seem to have water or proper PPE for the weather. The positive: Movers were on time and ready to work! Items were moved carefully, but they probably could have used a third worker based on the items we had. I feel I was transparent with how much items we had including heavy items. The negative: Two movers were not enough based on the items we had including heavy items. The move took much longer than expected. Movers seemed really irritated the whole time, which I can't tell if it was from the heat or we did something wrong. Movers also left garbage behind and we had to clean up after. Usually the moving company will follow up after to see how things went, but we never heard from Nancy. Nancy also said she would come to check in during the move, but never did. We paid, and it was done. I think overall, it was a fine experience, but not to the level of other moving companies I've worked with before. Based on the more recent reviews, it looks like some improvements have been made which is great!

Nothing crazy... it happens Took one start because I would appreciate to understand the tip expectations a head .. instead we were asked by the movers to tip.. since we didnt know we gave them something and then they call us cheap lol...so then we gave them 100 per mover.. which was like 20% Nothing against tipping and yes they were good and it was deserved, but it was awkward.. nice gesture if the company would have shared expectation ahead or include it in the quote. I would definitely recommend this place to folks, but recommend to the company to share tip expectations as people dont move often and are not familiar of what is customary.. thats all.

They sent two wonderful guys who were so efficient and hard-working. We were not able to finish everything in one day so I requested that they come back the next week for another session of packing. Both times, they arrived exactly when they said they would and brought all the moving materials in their truck so I did not have to pre-buy anything. I even needed special boxes for artwork and wine bottles and they provided those as well. I thought the price was very reasonable for what they did. I was not able to use them for the moving truck because I am moving out of state. (However, the owner said he would soon be getting the out-of-state license so that will be a service that is available in the future.) I'm happy to provide my highest recommendation for this company and the people who work there.

Finally getting around to a kudos review of Lunardi Moving Services…read more Executive Summary: Pros all the way. That said, the details: We were recommended to Lunardi for our short distance move within San Jose by friends who had previously contracted with them for their own local moves (Silicon Valley). We had them move our "packed to the gills" 1400 sq ft home plus loaded two-car garage to a slightly larger home about 2.5 miles away from each other. Initial price quote was a bit higher than a couple of the other companies contacted but felt it was worthwhile and still reasonable given that they were a "friend-recommended" company. Our final payment amount did come out a bit higher at the end of the day but that was due to OUR adding more to the load than what I originally told them that required a second round trip. On top of that, we had them haul away and dispose of a number of large items that we decided to not hassle with selling or otherwise disposing of ourselves. (Large cabinets, desk, chairs and more.) The moving crew was on time, started right in as soon as they got to our place and took extra time being VERY CAREFUL with our more fragile items (and honestly, items that weren't even what I would have considered that fragile). Meaning: they went over and above by plastic wrapping and padding things that I personally would have just thrown in a truck! Special notes: They also moved our baby grand piano, taking care to disassemble the legs and top, wrapping everything with padding and reassembling perfectly at our destination. When I moved a dozen years ago, I had to have a specialty mover move the piano so this was a definite plus!! And, on top of that, they moved a very large "crafting cabinet" with swing out doors (that contain integral storage making it double deep) and moved it into its destination room whose entrance hall way and door was barely wide enough to fit through and required a very tight turn/maneuver to get it in! I had walked away from watching them in the tight hallway (see pic) to do something else and when I returned less than five minutes later, it was in the room exactly where it was supposed to go. I was scratching my head wondering, "How did they do that?!" But no matter, they did! They were also careful in making sure that related items (like TVs and their remote controls or tables and their legs) were bundled together and securely affixed to each other so it minimized our having to look all over for items that went together. That was much appreciated. All in all, they made our move very smooth and efficient. If I were moving again - which I NEVER want to do again, haha! - will call Lunardi first. Special shout out to Daniel Navarro, our "moving consultant" at Lunardi for being prompt, courteous and a pleasure to work with. But, have to say that everyone on the crew were excellent! Yup, pros all the way!

The first time, I had to move from Union City to a storage facility in Elk Grove and this past weekend we had two teams going, one from San Jose to Elk Grove and the other from the storage facility to our new home. Pure Moving was perfect in all ways possible. They were professional, prompt, efficient, and super friendly. They handled and wrapped items with care and made you feel at ease that everything was going to be safe and secure. They disassembled furniture as needed and reassembled it on site. One great detail, they laid down plastic protectors everywhere to keep things clean and tidy where they would be stepping. And cleaned up all the plastic wrap/coverings, cardboard and tape they used while packing and unpacking. They literally took care of all the heavy - and even the light - lifting! I got a quote from Richie and one other contractor in Concord for buildable removal, but decided to go with Richie even though his quote came in a little higher. He did a good job answering my questions and I like that he is local. Richie was able to get the permits and start the job ~6 weeks later. Appreciate he was a willing to coordinate around my business trip. Also, the weekend before they were to start we found out one of our neighbors was planning a backyard gathering on Monday. I texted Richie on the weekend and he said no problem, they would start on Tuesday. Once the team showed up to start the job, they were great at communicating what they were planning each day. They had to remove a section of fence and a small greenhouse to gain access. They also decided not to risk damaging our old driveway with the heavy trucks, so fill dirt was dumped in the street and transferred to the backyard with the bobcat. This showed me that they really care and are thoughtful about what they are doing. I was able to go to work each day without worrying about being there to supervise. The team showed up each day as scheduled and after the concrete demo, rebar cutting, ~28 truck loads of dirt dumped in the hole and compacted, the job was completed in ~9 business days as estimated. They did a good job cleaning up and hauling everything away. ~2 weeks later I passed the city inspection and received the signed permit. I had to move 2 bedroom house hold within San Jose and chose Trek movers just the day before moving. They were very responsive over the call and booking went well. James, from their customer service was very patient with all my needs and even made a tentative draft for my reservation while I was still deciding. As promised three men came the next morning, Jerry, Dimitri and Batraz with the colorful Trek movers truck. They called 20 min before arriving and were patient while I was coordinating them to park in the right place. With charging per hour concept, I was skeptical about the movers taking more time to move as more time meant more cost. But Jerry, Dimitri & Botraz were on the money since the 1st min they came home. As Jerry was explaining the terms and procedure, Dimitri & Botraz were efficiently started off with their tasks. Jerry & team did a great job in communicating well, being mindful of delicate items, wrapped and packed all furniture carefully. They had the right tools to disassemble the furnitures. They completed the move in around 4 hours within San Jose. They helped in unloading the stuff in the correct rooms and also have a red carpet to make sure the new home floor is not dirty. Trek Movers helped me with a local move within San Ramon yesterday. They were definitely reliable and responsive. It is difficult for me to comment on value because this is my first move in the Bay Area but their hourly rate of $220/hr cash was at par with other movers on Yelp with good reviews. They certainly seemed more flexible than others, had a courteous and competent staff during the quote process that clearly explained how the process will work. Team of 3 (led by George and supported by Vasiliy and Dima) took about 8 hours to move a 2-bedroom apartment with a 15-minute off-the-clock lunch break. They arrived as promised at 8:30, carefully packed my belongings - typical for a family of 4 living in a 2-bedroom apartment on the 1st floor, disassembled 1 bed and loaded it all into a truck until lunch (approx 1:00 PM) drove to the destination about 2 miles away. On the way to the destination, I picked up lunch which they had on-site. They got done a little before 5:00 PM. It took longer than my estimate and theirs because it was a really hot day (94°) and I was moving into a 3-story townhouse. I moved within San Jose from a 2 bedroom to another 2 bedroom apartment. Based on the yelp reviews, I booked Trek Movers. Booking by the hour is not something that I am comfortable with because people play very fast and loose. Considering that movers always try to go over the estimate, it was a breeze of fresh air that the guys who showed up from Trek movers were not trying to scam me. Jerry, Batraz, and Dimitri were very diligent and cautious of the time. It was very easy for them to drag it out by another hour and make more money, but they were earnest, quick, and efficient. If I have to summarize the good qualities of these 3, I would simply say this * They were very mindful of the time. * They were very diligent in packing. These guys are super skilled and take care of your stuff as if it's their own. * super-efficient on time, they don't try to rip you off. * Jerry over communicates to keep us informed about every single aspect of the move. This is a big plus. * Dimitri and Batraz are so quick and skilled in packing and moving, it's not even funny. I have moved 4 times in the last 3 years, and this has been the most painless move ever. George, Sego, Alex, and Valeri are true pros! These guys helped disassemble some of our desks before moving it and then reassembled at our new office. They carried moved everything into and out of the truck with the utmost care, doing everything they can to ensure that there was no damage to our old office, the new office, or any of our things. They even helped us remove a door when one of our desks was just a tad bit too big to get through (they made sure to note that they could not guarantee that the door could be put back on evenly, but it actually worked out very well!). One thing to note - if you have a large office printer (one that stands on its own with wheels and does not sit on a desk or table), they do not want to move anything that sensitive and heavy up any stairs without an elevator. These machines are heavy and any damage and they don't want to be responsible for the machine. We were able to make quick arrangements, but if you are moving into a building without elevators, make sure to specify with Trek any sensitive equipment you have that needs to be moved! read more

Trek Movers made my move easy and painless. As my new home closing date approached fast, I was on a time crunch trying to find a fast, reliable, and reasonably priced movers to assist me with my move. I have searched many movers over periods of days. I chose Trek Movers not only because of their reviews, their customer service was what sold me. Fast forward to the move date.....i was contacted by George 15 minutes prior to their arrival. Once the crew arrived, George confirmed the appt(which I did), they immediately started their work. To my amazement, I have never seen anyone move an entire garage full of items as fast as they were. Efficient and speed were an understatement. Once they arrived at my new house, it took them no more than 1.5 hours to complete their job. From start to finish.....total of 3 hours.....!! Now that's fast! Trek recently helped me with a long distance move and were fantastic from the start. They were very helpful in helping me estimate what the move would cost me realistically, so I could compare quotes to others I had received. Their crew called 30min ahead of arrival as promised, and still within the promised window. Adam, Jerry and Dima took great care of my belongings and even tolerated my very inquisitive puppy who just wanted to be in the way. They were very respectful of me and my home, and extremely patient with me when I needed some last minute help packing things. The drive to my new house was much longer than normal given weekend "head out of town" traffic, and again not a single complaint. Looking for an Accountable Long Haul Mover (probably short-term, too) Trek Movers - San Jose - definitely didn't disappoint. It was seamless, from our initial meeting with James - to the Text reminders and confirmation emails - to "Moving Day" with George, Valeri, Alex, Igor, and Alexey. The team was respectful and treated our home belongings like it was their own. George was the manager and he kept things moving and on time. Alex, Valeri, Igor, and Alexey - worked as a team. They didn't break anything or damage any walls. We didn't have a simple move - as we moved out of our House - and Trek is holding our stuff for us until we move into our new home. We had Adam, Jerry, and Denis. They were great movers. Good price and efficiency. They will call you about 10 minutes before arrival even though they are supposed to call 30 mins but the dispatch center is very responsive. They finished a 2Br in 3.75 hours, but we spent a lot of time packing so the move was efficient. They took care of all furniture disassembly and reassembly. Items like dressers and mattresses were wrapped up in mats and plastic wrap for protection. They were very accommodating about other items such as garden items that we needed help moving even though they're not technically supposed to handle outdoor plants. They were friendly and asked me a lot of questions about where to put things afterwards. read more

First off Trek Movers were easy to contact for scheduling, surprisingly pleasant compared to other moving companies. Next they let me know via text that I was on their schedule, alleviating any worries over a lost reservation. On the day of the move, George, Alex , Nikolay and Soslan showed up on time and were so careful with all of my possessions; they made sure no walls or floors were damaged and everything was carefully wrapped. They moved items that were not being moved to the garage for me as requested. At my new residence they made sure my door and frame was protected and everything was where I wanted it. I moved from Morgan Hill to San Jose I used Trek movers that was a perfect choice they Are a professional clean great attitude team they were on time and equipped for the movement , I had everything out of place And was a little worried that they might not be able to get a round all my stuff. This was a great experience. This was a complex project. I needed to clear out 3 bedrooms on the 2nd story of my house to install new flooring. My garage was full of random items and boxes so there was no space to place the furniture there. Nick and Christian expertly helped me clear out half of the garage. Nick even swept the garage floor to clear out years of accumulated dust. The items from the garage were transported to storage. My bedroom furniture was then wrapped in protective plastic and moved into the garage. The whole thing took just 2.5 hours! On top of all this, the movers were polite and friendly. Trek Movers did an amazing job with full packing and moving of our two bedroom apartment! We've accumulated so much stuff over the years that they needed to call in an extra person (on a Sunday!) to assist packing. Jerry, Valerii, Sego, and Alex worked tirelessly throughout the move, taking a single 1 hour lunch break mid-day. Prices are on the higher end but that is because they provide all inclusive service, including free boxes, of which they used many. Note that they have a pretty hefty credit card surcharge (over 10%), but otherwise we paid only the hourly rate. We are so excited to be in our new home, and Trek Movers made it possible! read more

I highly recommend TREK movers. The crew was professional, helpful, friendly and went way beyond to accommodate our needs. This is the second time me and my husband Manuj have used their services and we were not disappointed. They are very efficient and fast. They moved our 1 bhk stuff in 2021 in less then 3 hours from sunnyvale to san jose. And this time it was a lot more and took them 4 hours of loading because of the apartment location. George, Ren and Dima did an amazing job for me, moving a 3 bedroom in a retirement home back to my father's house. They were very prompt, courteous, very friendly, and SUPER fast. Had the whole job (including some very large/awkward items) done start to finish in about five hours. This included packing books, personal effects, and electronics. Kudos for a job very well done, guys! Jerry and the crew ran our move smoothly, despite the heat and despite the huge amount of stuff we had managed to cram into our 2 BR apartment. We packed ourselves (except furniture and wardrobe which they took care of) and they moved us ~15 miles away in a bit over 5 hours. We were most impressed by the way they got the couch down from our 2nd story apartment -- it was the only item we had that wouldn't fit in the elevator but they got it down by going over the railing! I hired Trek to move my 2bd apartment to a new house. They were super responsive and timely. The pricing was upfront and fair with no nickel and diming. Everything was included in the price they quoted. On the day of the move, George, Batraz, and Sego showed up on time. They were very careful and meticulous. We needed help moving our daughter from her 3rd floor attic apartment in an old converted home with a very narrow staircase. George and Batraz were amazing. This is the second time we've used Trek, and this time they moved us from California to Oregon. The team was absolutely amazing. On time, super communicative, so kind. They did a truly great job with everything -- protecting doorways, putting down runners for rolling the wheelies, reassembling furniture, asking us to make sure everything was not only right but in the place we wanted it. But the unloading staff in SJ were very good. hardworking, professional.assembled the furniture back properly. Disappointed on the way back to SJ. So my recommendation is to use them going out of or within bay area but not for coming into bay area.

I filed a complaint and spoken with manager and emailed the general manager who entrusted their workers and refused to take a deeper look into this investigation. During the move, instead of coming directly to our location, the movers made a stop first; stating they were going to take a break. I asked the managers to check their gps location for proof and they refused. My family tipped each of the 3 movers in cash additionally and bought them food as a thank you. This was done before we found out some of our items never arrived. As of recent, they have ignored further communication from me. Half service deserves half payment.
