A body suit I just Bought had a giant hole on the side. I went back the next day to get the same exact one. Manager and Assistant manager said, " all sales are final, its policy". GREAT, but 1. Customer's must be allowed to try on clothes to check whether they have holes or not! (I'm not at a flea market!). OR 2. There are many regular and sale items and also...lots of bandage dresses. Including some from WoW Couture. YES! Cheap clothing store spot off of Westheimer and Dunvale. The service is not extraordinary but the manager is usually nice. The employees appear to be there just for a paycheck and are not usually friendly. I continue to go for the cheap clutches, blazers and shoes. There are items here I wouldn't be caught dead in but they also have cute items as well. The prices are really cheap and affordable. They have cute date night and going out on the town wear. I used to shop at Trend Mall all the time because they were one of very few places who sold very cute clothes for the "average size" woman. Granted, their PLUS section was a very small one but they still had very nice, trendy selections. In the last year I noticed that they have completely done away with their plus size clothes. I was there today and I saw several curvey women and girls just strolling around looking lost (like myself) trying to find anything they may be able to squeeze into. Ironically, I noticed that several of the young ladies who worked there were not exactly small so I asked one of them what is the largest size they carry she said nothing over a "large". And the sizes run small so a large is really more like a medium unless it's something stretchy. I was so offended and disappointed. The small section they once had for the curvey girls was barley noticeable and located in the back of the store (where most plus size sections are) so I felt some type of way that they saw reasoning in getting rid of it all together especially since it was a busy section of their store. Anyway, I can't tell them how to market but it's very unfortunate that we now have one less place where larger girls can shop for cute, sexy. trendy clothes. They are NO longer selling plus sizes as of March 25, 2018. This place is OK if you're looking for poor quality cheap clothes or shoes. They have a very strict return/exchange policy. This store has products galore (clothes, shoes, etc.) However it was designed for the biggest spenders which is also the same group that does not support their own businesses to a degree that we no longer need to shop at a place such as Trend Mall. They depend on the blacks, minorities to shop there the same as Lotus seafood and Timmy Chan's. Stay away from this business! The chief assistant (formal title) by the name of AIDEN was totally rude! He made a totally far out comment to me by saying "Well, we'll help you trash it (in front of you), if you want!" He declined to exchange the $9.99 t-shirt that I originally bought 3 days earlier for a more expensive merchandise because the original tag was not attached. Make sure you read their receipt fineprint: "No Refunds! Exchanges only accepted within 5 days of purchase with original receipt and original tag attached." Chief Assistant Aiden and his lady sales associate were very adamant about sticking to their policy. Short of not having a return policy which is not conducive to customers, Trend Mall might as well put a sign saying: "No Exchanges, Too!" Being a businesswoman myself and a long-time shopper for my entire family from my hubby to my 3 boys (2 of whom are now in med school) to my 10-year old little girl, I smell sneaky. It's a matter of principle ~ whether the shirt I bought was $9.99 or $99.99 ~ the customer needs to be treated right. I wasn't treated right and I'm sure same thing holds true with several other customers like the other lady standing next to me in the counter whose exchange was also declined because she didn't have her original receipt. Do they ever realize how many people they're upsetting by this esp. in this time of stiff competition among businesses? It's funny how Chief Assistant Aiden insisted that Forever 21 has the same policy and that he knows so because he worked for the company. So? Honestly, they need to be appreciative I was patronizing their business in the midst of fierce competition! Actually, TM has relatively expensive cheap-looking merchandise. For their price, Walmart, Kohl's & Macy's (w/ coupons) are much better bargains in terms of quality and cost, notwithstanding, the style. For a first-time customer, I definitely won't be a repeat customer! I drove past this store a million times before deciding to stop in. Through their windows you can see they have a huge shoe collection and the mannequins are always cute. I needed shoes for Halloween that I knew I'd never wear again so I was hoping to find some cheap heels here. Well I did and then found a ton of cute clothes! Not my everyday shopping spot but definitely have been a repeat customer. This is great for times I don't feel like driving or dealing with mall crowds or need a last minute outfit. On the Dunvale end of westhemier ,Trend Mall was my go to spot for me and my teenage daughter for a cute quick fix lots of affordable outfits with the sandles to match i couldn't do the heels or bags though but the wedges were great! Customer service was great in the beginning but now it sucks .. I no longer shop there due to the rude employees. And the managers or owners are prejudice witnessed it with my own eyes and ears that's really when i decided not to go back! !
