i'm almost afraid to leave a great review for fear that this place will become too popular! i started going to Trendy nails for dip powder nails in May of 2019 and have only seen Vivian since. Vivian is attentive, precise and does an incredible job. each time i've gotten a dip manicure, my nails are shiny and look amazing. they also last at LEAST three weeks, and haven't chipped or completely peeled off as has happened to me with other dip powder manicures in other salons. if you're expecting to be "in and out", think again. make an appointment ahead of time (like a few days to a week ahead) and expect the service to last at least 2 hours if you're getting a dip powder manicure AND pedicure. for just dip powder i'd say probably an hour to an hour and a half (don't quote me on that). i personally don't mind waiting because it's my self care and it means that i'll have a great manicure that will last me a month. i've seen the work of another nail tech on other clients (Diane i think her name is) and it is also flawless. i also appreciate that you can tip via venmo, because i rarely ever actually have cash on me. they also have a stamp card and once you get all stamps, you get $20 off your service - not bad! i have yet to get all stamps because my manicures last me so long lol! i also appreciate that each time i've made an appointment, vivian has been on time. it's clear she does a great job managing her schedule to ensure clients are taken in on time. as far as cleanliness, they use plastic liners in the pedicure tubs and the salon is generally well-kept and clean. the bathroom is also clean & tidy. this is a hidden gem! read more

Highly dissatisfied. I was looking for a new place to get a fill with gel and based on the high reviews to this salon I went in as a first time costumer and I have no intentions on returning for a second time. I felt like I was a bother to them the moment I walked through the door, and once I was seated with my nail tech it was rushed all the way through. I went in late afternoon on a Thursday and my gel polish was already peeling by Friday night! I went in Saturday morning and asked for them to fix it only to be told t they were busy and could not take me till Monday and if I wanted to change the defective color there would be a charge (mind blown). After writing this review I had every intention of taking this as a lesson learned and moving on. BUT here's an update, I went in on Monday for my scheduled appointment and after having a conversation with one of the ladies I pick out a new color and sit down with the owner to have my nails "fixed". She immediately mention my review above and YELLED about how unhappy she was with me posting my option about my experience, long story short I sat there in silence while she redid them and left with no intention of EVER returning. My main complaint would be that I arrived at 3:55 pm and left at 7:20 pm. 3.5 hours to remove old acrylics, apply a full set (regular polish, no design), and get my eyebrows done. The lady who picked it up was very polite and when I asked if they have any openings today, she told me yes at 2:45 so I booked it with her. When I got there (a little early), the technicians were all occupied with other clients. They were a little busy so I had to wait but it wasn't too long. I also appreciate that the salon respects your time by promptly seeing you by the promised appointment time. I have seen them respectfully turn away walk-in customers because they know they have appointments coming up on their books. I've seen other salon take as many people in and then those with appointments end up waiting. They do not operate like that here. I wish I could remember the nail of the nail tech I had, but she was amazing. She was running a bit behind and was very apologetic but kept me in the loop with her timeline. Once she had me in the chair, she was so friendly and we talked the entire time about music and work, and she gave me some much needed advice on how to help my nails heal from some damage!
