We came on Cinco de Mayo; had a 20 minute wait. The entire restaurant, both inside and outdoors, was very busy and noisy. It was so loud that I couldn't hear my hubby talk and I had to scream loudly for him to hear me. Food was consistently delicious. Their sangria margaritas are the best I've ever had! Service was fair on their busy day of the year.

Went there with my parents on a Saturday at around five PM. Atmosphere was pleasant albeit (increasingly) loud. The service was great even as things got busier. Excellent drink selection, including a number of specialty cocktails. I have now twice ordered and highly enjoyed the Vampiro. Highly recommend the enchiladas verdes and steak nachos, also, and my father enjoyed his tacos.

I enjoy a visit to Tres Camino in Caseyville. Good solid Mexican food menu and good margaritas. It has a great ambiance and every time I have been there service is great! The prices are competitive, and they have great lunch specials!

One of our favorites! You can tell by the crowded parking lot that they're good but don't let that keep you away. We have never had to wait long. The servers are always wonderful and everything arrives quickly. They have a cute outdoor area - the traffic can get a little loud at busy times but that can't be helped. We love this place and the food is always amazing. They have a lot of different margaritas that we are working our way through and have liked them all.

It's been awhile since we've been back to this place. Yesterday, we were there for the Cinco de Mayo celebration and boy....it was packed with customers! They have a patio for people who wants to enjoy a good weather like yesterday while eating their scrumptious meal. The food that we ordered was hands down AMAZING! So tasty and delicious! The waiters and waitresses was spot on! I was afraid that the food will be reduced in quality because of the high volume of customers inside, outside and waiting in line to get seated.....but they were great! Kudos to all the staff and employee because yesterday was a busy and special day and they delivered it and brought it like a well oiled machine! I would give them 10 stars if I can! We live just up the road from them and definitely one of our favorite spot!

Raised prices and cut down on portions. Wings are much smaller and priced higher. Perhaps no one will notice.

Mi Tierra Bonita Mexican Grocery Store (3203 Collinsville Rd, Fairmont City, IL 62201)…read more My love wanted to take me to a place near and dear to him: the very first Mexican restaurant he and his late father dined at when they first moved to St. Louis. It is located in Fairmont City, not too deep into Illinois, situated by farmland and near the raceway. The place is like a mullet: business in the front (store) and a party in the back (restaurant). The aisles of the store have everything one would need, from food staples to household items. We were warmly greeted by our waitress, who proved to be super attentive during our visit--even after we paid. We ordered a top-shelf pitcher of strawberry margaritas. It was a huge pitcher for $32, came with a side pitcher of ice, and we were able to make a total of 12 glasses out of it. They started us off with chips and salsa. The chips were made of super-duper corn and came with two spicy table salsas. For our appetizer, we had guacamole. It was freshly made but lacked salt and lime for what we are used to, so I took my lime from my margarita and squeezed it over the guacamole to make it better. I ordered à la carte: one quesabirria, a grilled chicken taquito, and a chicken gordita. The taquito and quesabirria were on point. The gordita was not the mainstream version of what I had been used to seeing, but still good. I would definitely return!

The chicken had a nice flavor. The grilled bell peppers and tomatoes were also a little overcooked. The flour tortillas were the hottest ever which was nice. The inside was very claustrophobic with tables all mashed together forcing you to sit shoulder to shoulder with the people around you. I ordered the torta with French fries cause I like to get a traditional Mexican dish but with an Americanized item too, I'm also a certified torta pounder. It wasn't too pricy but also not too cheap around 15 for the sandwich which tends to be around the average. Service wasn't to amazing got the order in fast and out but was forced to order the appetizer with my meal, and didn't get a refill of water until after I had already ate. I would definitely recommend as a place to eat but not necessarily the best. Personally I would wait for the summer just to eat outside. Last picture is proof of my certification.

There were no chucks of fish but rather flakes and it wasn't very good. I had to ask for limes! What fish tacos do not come with limes? The service was also very bad. Our food was served and then we had to find people to help us get half of the things we ordered. Then we were overcharged by $60 on our bill. So watch your bill, make sure you are not getting overcharged. I really like the place, it's so cute and the have karaoke but food and service need to be better.

It was a long drive for me. I had to use my GPS to find it and I cannot tell you how many Mexican restaurants I passed to get there. The parking lot was packed when I arrived, but lucky for me as I entered a booth was opening up and I was seated immediately. A visit to a Mexican restaurant is not complete without a Margarita. I just ordered a regular on the rocks with no salt. The salsa that came with the chips was delicious. I also couldn't resist adding, orders of cheese dip and guacamole, too. When I eat Mexican alone, I can double dip and I love that. Dipping in cheese dip and then salsa or guacamole is messy, but acceptable when dining alone. My entree was a, Chicken Quesadilla. It came with Refried Beans and Mexican Rice. It was only cut in half, so I had to cut again to get manageable pieces to eat. The tortilla was crispy, which I like and the stuffings made for a flavorful quesadilla. The service was attentive and friendly. As stated earlier, it was a drive for me and I'll tell you it is a drive I will make again. It was totally worth it.
