I visited Davis this past weekend so I had to stop by Tres Hermanas. I love this spot! They have amazing indoor and outdoor patio seating. The patio seating is colorful, lively. We sat outside since it was nice out. The menu caters to vegetarians and pescatarians well. I got a tres hermanas house margarita and guacamole to start. They also brought out chips and salsa. They guacamole was fresh and margarita was classic, delicious, easy to drink. I got enchiladas verdes with the house salad with cilantro dressing. I love the house salad- simple, fresh veg, and the cilantro dressing is light, a little tangy. The enchiladas were incredible. They're a little spicy, for me, perfect spice level. Beans and the rice were seasoned well. The service was great, they checked on our table a couple times even though it was busy. Fantastic experience, I highly recommend stopping by if you're in Davis!

This is my second time here and my husband I truly enjoy it. We brought friends for their first time and they also really enjoyed it. We were seated outside on the patio which is festive with color, there is lots of space and the warm night made it perfect. We started with margaritas. I got the pomegranate lime and it was delicious, not sweet and not tart. My husband and our friend each had a couple of Cadillacs and Im pretty sure they could have had another. My friend got the fajitas and it looked like enough food for two people, my husband got the enchilada plate, I got tortilla soup and the girls got bean and cheese burritos and added steak, everything was great. Our waitress was so accommodating, especially as friends joined us, she welcomed them took their orders and made us feel taken care of. We will definitely be going back when we go back for our next soccer tournament.

First time here - there was seating inside & outside & very colorful. It was a bit of a wait for 2 people, but it was really busy for a midweek evening. The salsa was flavorful & hot, which I liked. I ordered the flautas - very good, but they got a little soggy after they cooled off. As for the staff, our waitress kind of disappeared after taking our order, but there was another gentleman who helped us who was nice. Overall, I'll be back!

The food here is delicious and the servers are prompt and if you visit regularly they all take the time to know your name. It's a popular Davis eatery and a go to place for our family. Great indoor seating but if the weather is nice the patio is best - they have heaters and umbrellas.

Outstanding service!! All the employees were friendly and helpful. It was like they had our food and drinks before we even asked for it! The decor is bright and festive. Plenty of seating inside and out. Authentic dishes and flavors. Specials and regular menu- everything was SO GOOD! When we were headed there, we thought it was a restaurant we had been to before and then when we arrived, we realized it was different. We were so pleased because everything was delicious. It was a great new spot to find. There's a parking lot right across the street so you don't have to search for parking

Crispy taco and chicken enchiladas plate! Delicious!

Stopped here for lunch, the host and our server Arlette were both very nice! Clean interior and spacious outdoor patio. Ordered the crispy chicken taco and tamale and two chicken enchiladas. The portions were huge and the food was delicious! Both came with a large serving of rice and beans. We had a small salad with cilantro salad dressing and it was delicious! The chips and salsa were really good too! Couldn't finish one of the plates so had to bring some home. Will definitely be back; if you're in Davis looking for great Mexican food give Tres Hermanas a try!

    Al pastor tacos!! Omg!!! Delicious!!

Absolutely recommend this place! I'm surprised I didn't give this place five stars since the first time I came here which was about 2 years ago, since then we have become regulars and I have to say that nothing has changed! The food, the people, the drinks, and the atmosphere are all still amazing! When you come in you're welcomed by staff and they allow you to choose a table that you're comfortable with then they bring out their delicious salsa and chips to enjoy while you check out the menu! I've had their guacamole and chips, shrimp cocktail tostadas, chicken chimichangas, fajitas, mole enchiladas, potato, al pastor, and steak tacos! Everything I've had is fresh and tasty! My favorite of all has got to be their chile verde!!! It so the BEST I've had from a restaurant and I frequently come to tres hermanas just for it! Their soups are all delicious - my favorite is their lentil soup. If you get a chance to pick a soup or salad, try a soup! They have different spice levels of salsas and if you're looking for a good spicy salsa ask for their Diabla salsa!! It will not disappoint! As for drinks, they serve them strong and tasty! Just the way I like it! Top two favorites are their cantaritos and their strawberry margaritas on the rocks with a sugar rim! We've tried many different Mexican restaurants and this place stands out by far. If you're looking for good vibes, delicious Mexican food and you're in Davis, stop by here once and I promise you'll be back again and again! Thank you Tres Hermanas Davis for always delivering deliciousness! -Jamie

The food is fine - nothing amazing but definitely good. Pretty much exactly what you expect from a California Mexican Cantina style restaurant. The portions are generous. The staff was really nice and friendly. But the real reason it's a great spot is because of the vibe. It's hard to come by good ambience in restaurants in Davis and this one has a cute courtyard and a fun festive interior which makes it above average and worth going to if you find yourself needing food after seeing a movie around the corner.

Great ambience, great drinks, and most importantly, great service. This update is to once again highlight the service. We were greated and served by Ava today. That said, our experience was noticeably impacted by the host. From the moment we walked in, interactions felt more focused on what we couldn't do rather than helping us feel comfortable or welcomed. I was initially told my dog wasn't allowed, which was later clarified when I explained he is a service animal, but subsequent interactions continued to feel corrective rather than hospitable. It stood out because every other staff member we interacted with was warm, social, and inviting, which made the contrast pretty stark. One practical note for future guests: if you order wine, plan to finish it there. They do not offer cork-and-carry, so splitting a bottle only really works if you're prepared to drink a good amount on-site. I'm rooting for this place and hope this feedback is helpful. With a small adjustment in front-of-house approach, this could easily be a fantastic addition to the local bar scene.

We headed over to G Street WunderBar located on G street in downtown Davis. We ended up parking on the street-so many parking spots in Davis-so it was no problem. When we walked in,it was quiet, not a lot going on but I knew this was a fun place. Wasn't hard to imagine how much fun this place would be on a Friday or Saturday night in this college town. I asked the bartender lady and she pretty much verified that it gets nutso in there on weekends. This bar has lots of tables and multiple rooms,so they have capacity for many people. They have multiple pool tables and video games in the back room, along with an entirely separate bar back there. They have a big screen projector screen and many small TVs along the bar to accommodate anyone wanting to watch any live sporting event. The Happy Hour here is pretty solid as well,$5 drinks were available. I heard the food here is pretty decent but we weren't here for that-maybe next time. My favorite part of this bar though easily was the bartender-She was such a breath of fresh air,so much personality and her hockey knowledge was amazing-she really made my visit to this bar quite enjoyable. In closing, If you ever find yourself in downtown Davis and need to kill some time or just want a quick drink, don't hesitate to drop by G Street Wunderbar-it's a good time.

If you know, it is already incredibly hard taking an autistic child to a restaurant. The manager thought it was ok to tell my 13 year old to put on my autistic son's shoes..... As my son is screaming and heaving a full meltdown over shoes now, the manager continues to apologize because there were possibly glass shards on the ground in his restaurant. If that is the case, maybe someone else should be notified as that is a serious safety hazard and my son would get cut anyway as he has sandals that expose his feet, as did my daughter. Instead, our experience was ruined by the owner, Gordon Langstaff, and his completely inappropriate behavior around a small child. My son, who is three and on the autism spectrum, briefly picked up a loose electrical cord that was lying on the ground under the patio stairs (I have a photo of how exposed it was). Instead of calmly addressing the situation, Gordon walked over in a rude, irritated tone and said, "Can you do something?" I told him I was already handling it and redirecting my son, but as he walked away he started cursing under his breath, using foul language that was clearly audible right next to my child. There is no excuse for swearing like that in front of a three‑year‑old, especially when the unsafe cord was left out in the open by the restaurant in the first place. Whether or not my son is autistic, families should never be subjected to hostility and foul language from the owner of a restaurant. If you offer outdoor seating and leave cords and other hazards accessible, you should expect children to be curious and respond with basic courtesy, not anger. The food itself was mediocre, and after that interaction it honestly didn't matter. This was supposed to be a special birthday outing, and his attitude and language completely ruined it.
