Located right around the corner from Merced High School, they have a private parking lot, which makes stopping in super convenient. The first thing that caught my attention was how amazing the meat market and taqueria look. Everything is incredibly clean, polished, and actually feels surprisingly upscale. They have a great seating area, so you can sit down and enjoy your meal comfortably. The salsa bar is seriously something special! They have around 20 different items with just about every flavor and type of accompaniment you could imagine. There are so many choices that you could probably create a different combination every time you visit. They open early at 8 AM and even offer breakfast burritos, plus they have Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday specials in the taqueria. They also have Agua Fresca, which is always a nice addition. I had the breakfast burrito and it was wonderful. But honestly, the salsa bar took it over the top! The owner's sister also makes homemade flan and tres leches cake, so there are definitely some great options for dessert. I highly recommend stopping in and giving 3 Hermanos Carniceria & Taqueria a try. I know I'll be coming back--and honestly, I might come back just for that salsa bar alone! read more

Ordered food using DoorDash, so I can't speak to in person experience only on the food itself. We ordered the Nachos, a burrito and 3 tacos for dinner. The Nachos: more cheese than meat or beans so half the chips were soft & falling apart by the time it was delivered. The chips are thin so they can't stay in the cheese long enough to stay crispy. All you taste is cheese because the asada is bland. The Burrito: First bite my husband took had a bone in it, luckily he didn't chip a tooth or choke. He spite it out, tried to continue to eat but found another so ended up throwing it out. The Tacos: 1 el pastor, 1 pollo, 1 cadne asda. The el pastor was flavorful but dry, the pollo was good and the cadne asda was on the bland side. They included a truck load of salsa but no limes. The guy working the hot food counter is reminiscent of the soup guy from the Seinfeld show, if you follow. The service from the younger staff is great. The ambiance is fine. The place is a market / cafeteria. They have a few tables off to the side. They also have a cold meat counter. You can pick up seasoned meat. I'll give that a try next time. I loved the delicious salsa bar, and I enjoyed my experience so much I came back and purchased chicken and beef for tacos from the meat market and some of their yummy guaca-salsa to cook at home. The diced chicken was an amazing price at 3.99 a pound, and the beef was well priced as well. Super happy these guys moved in so close! A hidden gem. I've passed this establishment many times without knowing they had cooked food along with an exemplary meat selection. The atmosphere is friendly and though busy, all present seemed at ease. The woman that took my order(should have gotten her name. I will soon) made me feel welcome and her smile was infectious. I would recommend staying with that type of chip rather than the store bought kind. It makes a world of difference just with the chips alone. Went there for the first time to get fish tacos on Friday for Lint? They only had the one seafood option of fried fish so I got three fish tacos. They were OK with a mild spicy creamer on cabbage. I also got a cheese quesadilla which was just average. Could've did the same thing at home nothing special. Salsa bar looked really nice. I got four different items from it. The meat counter looked adequate and some of the prices were OK but other prices were extremely high they had prepared El Paso for $3.99 a pound which I would've bought if I hadn't got the tacos for home. Forgot to mention I did get a El Pastor taco because they had the pastor on a rotisserie, but they never cut the meat off of it.
