This was the worst mexican food I think I've ever had. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by the salsa. It was blended tomato with some taco seasoning. The cheese dip was bland. The beef tip enchiladas were flavorless. I ordered a Texas margarita which usually means a house margarita with an extra shot of gold tequila on top. This one tasted like orange juice and tequila. No triple sec or sour mix. Overall, Mexican food for white people who think black pepper is spicy. read more

Start with their very excellent Margaritas. Then get them to make their chunky guacamole fresh at your table. MM good! One of us got Shrimp Jennifer and the other got chimichanga. This restaurant isn't the ideal location for those who live in Georgetown but the menu selection looked amazing. I did a to go order and was very pleased with the food. I ordered the shrimp tacos which included a mango pico and chipotle Mayo which I appreciated they put the Mayo on the side so the tacos wouldn't get soggy. I also ordered a side of refried beans, rice, guac, and salsa & chips to go. There was an extra 35 cent fee for to go which i believe is the fee for to go chips and salsa which I thought was a little strange but none the less I was very pleased with the meal. Restaurant was clean, lively Hispanic music playing, and staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend given their large menu and might I add, there are tons of enticing photos to give you a nice visual of what you'd be ordering. read more

What has happened to this restaurant? I drove from Lexington because this used to be the best Mexican restaurant today. I was served salsa that tasted like it had been made with taco seasoning. The guacamole was nothing more than mashed avocado. And the tamales look like cornmeal mush. read more

Wow, Wow, Wow!! So my wife and I originally moved to Nicholasville from Ashland Kentucky about a Year and 2 months ago. Ever since then we have been searching for a Tres Hermanos in the area and of course to no avail. Well about a couple of months ago a good friend had said that this restaurant was going in off of Georgetown Road and that we had to visit when we could. Well today was that day that had the opportunity to visit and my Wow comment in the beginning was for my expectations of this restaurant and of course meets and exceeds my expectations for what I have come to know about my favorite Mexican Restaurant. We walked in and immediately we were acknowledged about how many of us were going to be seated. We said 2 and I have to say the decor was absolutely beautiful. My wife ordered the Chimichanga Veracruzana and I ordered the Chicken Deluxe. We waited about 10 minutes and our food came out and it was Hot and Fresh. We got Chips and Salsa but we love Guacamole and we ordered a Large Guacamole and it was delicious. Besides our food being hot and fresh, the staff was very friendly, and they kept coming back to refill our drinks. Can't wait to come back and we are so filled with Joy that we have our favorite Mexican Restaurant close to us once again. Our son recommended this establishment on. Saturday evening after a graduation ceremony. We gor there at 930pm and it was packed. As we sat and ate and chatted, more people came in for take out orders and to dine in. The food was very good. It is not cookie cutter at all. Very unique, and large, menu. Very nice portion sizes and quality tasting entrees. Service is fast and polite and they work as a team to take care of the dining room. We will definitely return when in Georgetown! read more

Newly moved from Tucson Arizona we are searching for good Mexican restaurants in the area. Tres Hermanos Nunez was our first destination. Service was fast and chips and salsa hit the table right as we sat down. The menu is large with lots of options. The lunch deals were great. The food came out fast and we were not disappointed. Okay we had been here twice before when there was not much of a crowd and the food and service were good. NOT TODAY!! We waited a short while for a table maybe 10 minutes. We we're seated and waited about 15 minutes before our order was taken. Drinks and chips were brought and then the waiting.....1 hour and no refills on drinks or chips. Others came and were seated after us and got food and had left. One plate came out.... Not hot. The other six of us waiting for 20 minutes before another plate came..... not hot. No food delivered or checked on by our waiter who took our order. Another waitress came by the table and we told her we were leaving...she indicated for us to wait a moment. The rest of the food comes out cold like the other two plates. We ask for one of the items (fish tacos) to be replaced. Never comes. We ask for the ticket. Two other items never came at all. Ticket is $98. We explain about the food and service being terrible. No discount given...no apologies. For us...NEVER AGAIN!! read more

We did carry out & found that the staff was friendly & food prepared within the time they gave us. Salsa was fresh & one of the best in the area. The shrimp chimichanga was awesome! It is large enough for 2 meals... stuffed with lots of shrimp and grilled veggies. Steak tacos were okay... steak seemed a little dry/overcooked. Beef burrito was very good as well.
