Service undependable and driver and dispatcher rude. Not even safe. I reserved a taxi a day in advance and the taxi was not there when I arrived. I called and the dispatcher said the driver was delayed and reserving was no guarantee. I said he should have called to tell me of the delay and he said I should have called. The driver came 25 minutes late. He was only age 20. He assured me he was a very good driver, but when we came to the final hill, he made me get out and walk, saying, "Fuck," "fuck," all the while. I called the dispatcher to complain and he blamed me and indicated that I had no right to complain. Then he hung up on me. So, what do you think of this company? read more

Awful cab company, don't ever use. First of all, one of their drivers stalked me for several months and has been fired and rehired several times for drugs and other things. Second, they are NEVER on time, expect to wait a half hour or more from the requested time of arrival. Most of the drivers are extremely rude, unprofessional, and bad drivers. The dispatch can be very rude as well. Half the time they don't answer when your cab is late and you call to try and find an eta. Cabs are always late and even had a few no shows. The vehicles themself are old, falling apart, and look and smell awful. You're better off spending a few extra bucks for an Uber or even walking. read more

Very efficient and good service! The cab drivers know the location of where you need to go without you having to operate as their GPS (always a good thing). For the multiple trips to Lake George, Queensbury and Glen Falls, I didn't have to wait for long for a pick up. Anywhere between 10-20 minutes. The fares range between $7-$12.50 ($12.50 from Queensbury to Lake George at least for the off-season). read more

I have rode with Tri County for many years as have family and friends. Recently the dispatchers are extremely rude and the wait time is unbelievable. I'm not sure what Tri County Cabs business plan is, but I can assure you.. Screwing over all your regulars and locals is not the way to go. I hate having to call Tri County nc I know I'm gonna to deal with a ridiculous amount of harassment from the dispatchers and I'm gonna wait an unreasonable amount of time. I would not hire this company. The dispatcher was rude, and the drivers on both cab rides were incredibly rude and unprofessional, not to mention their incredibly filthy cabs. On our second ride, the driver had the nerve to stop and pick up another fare, on our dime! If I wanted to take a friggin bus with other people, that's what I would have done! I had an awesome older male driver! Can't recall his name unfortunately, but he was there to get me very quickly after I made the call and texted my number to let me know he was there, has a lovely singing voice, and made very interesting small talk with me. I had a personal issue telling him my destination but he was very understanding and friendly! Very reasonable prices, as well. read more

I tried calling for 2 hours to get a cab to work. Answered once on the 20th call to be hung up on while giving my address. Kept calling back for a total of 115 calls. The last 30 calls rang once and went to a no voicemail recording, so I had to call off of work since they blocked my numbe. read more

Terrible company. I work for a mental health agency, and this company gets a lot of our clients pick ups through medi-cab, and they do not EVER show up on time, if they show up at all. When we call to see what is going on, they say that they have them in their system, but not on their list for pickup?? The solution: maybe you guys can call an hour before the pickup is supposed to happen? Ummm, NO! Maybe you can do your job and look through your "system" and put those people on your "schedule"? I was cut off at a drive thru and when i called the dispatch I was told it must have been my fault. I will never call them again

Today was the second time I placed a time call for doctors appointment. I asked both times for a pickup a half hour before my appointment. The first time, I had to call back twice before a cab showed up, making me 20 minutes late for my appointment. Today, I had to call back, which did no good, because a cab never showed up. Both times that dispatcher was rude. Today, I had the time call for 1:30. At 1:40 I called the dispatcher back and he said a cab would pick me up in a couple of minutes. At 2:00 PM, the time of my appointment, I called back and I said that was a long couple of minutes. He hung up on me. I had to cancel my appointment and will probably be charged a $30.00 no show fee. It was the same dispatcher, both times and it's doubtful he even wrote the time call down. He lost a customer and I hope the powers to be in that company read this. For the out-of-towers who wrote such nasty reviews, know this: cabs here operate on a zone system (they don't "guess" fares) which provides us with very reasonable rates. Hence, they can pick up another fare along the way, dispatched by radio. This is how they are able to provide quick wait times and reasonable fares. This cab company should be shut down...totally unsafe. When the cab I called showed up, all the seats were full, and I was told to get in the trunk of the mini-van...(it's about 18 deep)! I refused, and a few minutes later, another cab showed up. I told him about being told to get in the trunk and he responded that he had fit 17 people in his mini-van before...he went on to explain that he had them sitting on the dashboard and laying down on each others' laps. The driver who said this, weighed about 450 pounds and smelled like fresh feces. He then drove me to pick up another two fares, one of which was his friend, who took 15 minutes to come to the cab. This isn't a safe, professional, or effective business in any way. Should be shut down by the authorities. read more

We have often used Queensbury Taxi service for transportation for our adult son to and from his place of work when we are not available. This is approximately a 15 minute drive and about a $6.75 fare. Punctuality and reliability are very important to us. We usually arrange for the service many hours ahead of time and so far have not heard of any problems. The dispatchers have always been very accommodating and professional. I noticed of the 5 reviews posted, 4 were quite negative so I had to "weigh in". I may have rated the company higher but our experience is second-hand based on our son's reports. read more

NEVER CALL THESE GUYS!!! They will tell you a few minutes and make you wait an hour, even when you have kids in winter! They have no respect or regard when they make you late for work, school or appointments. They are only interested in your money, not your business! i think their horriable we call in a time call sun thru wends at 5 pm for a 930 pick up and seems like they dont know what a time call is and then they act like your killing them when you call to find out where the cab is and hang up on u everytime u call back its uncalled for and its not like you can call a deffrent cab company cause they are all the same company now so you dont get anywhere read more
