The sales manager was so rude to me I was absolutely shocked. I recently contacted them to check stock and buy a brand new motorcycle they had on the floor, so I confirmed it was in stock and told them I was coming from a few hours away. By the time I got there later that day I walked in and nobody in the building offered to help and I had to ask 4 different people where to find a salesman and after waiting 20min they come to tell me they sold the bike an hour earlier. I asked why they couldn't have contacted me to let me know it sold since I called earlier in day and said I was coming to buy it with cash and his response "they don't have time to contact customers" even when they call to say they are coming from few hours away with cash in hand. The manager Kevin has a horrible attitude problem and he really shouldn't be working in customer service. I can't imagine how many sales they loose because of such poor service, I wonder if the owner is aware how poorly customers are treated.... Im not surprised to see the most recent review is a customer saying he had almost the same exact experience to mine with the same sales manager who helped me. I have to say this was Truly a horrible experience and I definitely won't go back there ever again. It's really a shame because there's not very many moto shops in the county so it's really a bummer to see this shop doesn't care about their customers. Had a great experience purchasing a used Kawasaki Vulcan 900 from Tri-County. My first interaction was a couple of weeks earlier with Kevin at the associated shop in Simi Valley: Kawasaki/Atlas Powersports. A couple of listings in Cycle Trader caught my eye so I made a trek out west. Sat on quite a few bikes but the Vulcan was the one that felt like it fit the best. Had a nice chat with Paul and went home to do some more research and confer with my consultant. Hit up Kevin in Simi on the phone before heading out later in the week to make sure the bike was still in stock and asked who I should reach out to at Tri-County. He told me Kevin, because of course there is more than one Kevin. When I got to the dealership, Kevin was great and introduced me to Thomas(sp) for the test ride and the sales bits. All of that went through just fine but when I got it home there was an issue. Understanding the 'as is' clause of my purchase, I hit up the dealership just for some advice about troubleshooting and spoke with Taxi about it. Had a few calls back and forth trying different things but he sent Mario the next day to pick up the bike and take it in for troubleshooting in their shop. Mario was able to isolate the problem, repair it, and brought the bike back to me the same day. I'm a newly minted motorcycle rider and buying a bike was a stressful thing to begin with but the staff made the buying part easy. We love this place we have 2 dirt bikes and 4 atvs. There is aways something that need to be replace and or fixes. If they are sold out they always have the part you need with in a few days. This review will be written in phases. This is phase 1: My wife and I stopped in about 2 weeks ago. We sat with Tyler, to discuss the soon to be available 2018 Honda Goldwing DCT Tour. Tyler, who has a nice personality, was very knowledgeable on the yet to be released bike, and the many changes that took place between last years model and the new iteration (as well as the many differences between the Goldwing sub-models). After doing much reading on the new model, I called yesterday with several questions on different tech and suspension related features. Tyler told me that he'd call a Honda rep and get back to me by a certain time. Well, he was a man of his word, and got back to me with all the answers. Satisfied with what I heard, I gave a deposit over the phone. Tyler made that process quick & painless. I subsequently called back 3 times with additional questions, within a 10 minute period. Each time, he could not have been more gracious or patient. So far, so good! I'm expecting the bike to come in around the end of January. Stay tuned ... Tyler called, to inform me (well in advance), that Honda was only delivering the new bikes to them in a single color, I think it was blue. Since I was looking for white, I asked Tyler to refund my deposit. My deposit was refunded to my credit card within a few days, just as he had promised. I confirmed with other dealers that Honda was delivering very few bikes at the time, and only in limited colors. Tyler handled everything in a very professional manner. They try to add so much ADM, I drove an hour to come here after getting "approved" for financing but to only have them try to charge me 14%+ on 72 months and Kevin (white guy, finance manager, looks like a heavy smoker) tried to say that it was the bank and not them charging extra APR, I called my bank and said I got approved for 6% on their terms. Tri-County is a rip-off and is trying to take advantage of the covid-19 situation by marking up so many fees. The other employees were very kind, the sales guy, Josh, was super laid-back and I felt comfortable with him the entire time until Kevin came out, Kevin needs to be fired because he's attitude is piss poor and lord knows how many people he's driven out because he's hiking up prices. I've had two experiences I want to speak about. First off, my purchase experience.. they had originally agreed to match a deal I had with another dealer. I made sure before wasting my time going over there that they would match the deal without a doubt. They agreed, no problem. When I get to the point of numbers and signing paperwork, Kevin Ryan, who states he's not trying to play any games with you, tried to charge me twice for my warranty. When it comes to deals you must check the numbers and with him the numbers never seemed to add up correctly and he was constantly trying to sneak in added money. If you're going to purchase anything from them double check the numbers BEFORE signing ANYTHING. This did not only happen to myself it happened to my friend who I referred to them. Eventually, after going back and forth with him he realized he messed up and apologized. (I just think if you do this every day with multiple customers you don't really make mistakes like this unless it's on purpose). My second experience.. fast forward to a year later I was trying to purchase another X3. I called Kevin Ryan with the intent on giving support to a local business, with another deal I had with another dealer trying to get him to match it along with two other friends. At the time, there was a zero interest that BRP was offering and when I told Kevin about this he said that it was just bait and not a legitimate offer even though it was on the BRP website. So I did my research and saw that this was in fact a legit offer before they even did. I decided to move forward with this other dealer and purchased a new X3. I was told to contact Tri County to get my refund on my extended warranty. This was an absolute nightmare! I would call to speak with Kevin since he is the finance manager. When they would pick up the phone I would ask to speak directly with him, the person that would answer wouldn't tell me their name just ask the reasoning for my call and I would continue to say that I needed to speak with Kevin. Then they would begin to talk negatively about Kevin and as soon I would get ready to hang up after leaving a message for him, Kevin would say that it was him the whole time trying to see if I would say anything about him. Eventually, after almost 8 months later I finally received my refund. I have no idea if it's even the correct amount. I never signed any paperwork which seems so ridiculous to me when purchasing and refunds are concerned. I'm done with Tri County and the clowns that work there. I would rather drive hours to go purchase elsewhere then go and support their business. Please do yourself a favor a caller another dealer before purchasing with them. Guaranteed that their deal can be beat any where else! read more

Purchased a used sv650 couple months ago, so far it runs great no issues. My experience purchasing was smooth, Melvin was my sales rep and was polite and patient. Did run into a bit of the team members doing sales tactics, but it was all polite and nothing rude or pushy, nothing was inappropriate and it is expected to run into some sales tactics they have a job to do. I've been at dealerships where their tactics are way to forward/impolite/demanding and my experience here was the complete opposite, calm/polite/respectful. Their entire team was helpful, was nice seeing everyone work together and when I got to the finance desk the gentleman who handled that was great; didn't try to convince me into something I already decided I wasn't going to do which I appreciated as there's was no point being pushy on something I already decided; plus I purchased that model specifically due to it's reputation on quality. The team also let me run some questions by them after which was helpful, gave me plenty of time to explain and chat. Overall happy with everything, except the price, but lets be real...I purchased at a time with high prices. They did negotiate with me and I'll live, I'm extremely happy with everything. Waited a couple months in case any issues popped up, but bike is exactly what I wanted and running fantastic, have zero buyers remorse. Thank you for the smooth dealership experience. read more

Took my 2022 Ryker 900 sport in to service department for an issue I was experiencing with the VSS. I was greeted by Bryce, the service manager. I explained the issue I was experiencing. Bryce listened to my explanation and asked a few questions. He said he would plug it into the computer and have a look. Soon after, Bryce walked by me and said: I think we have a fix for this. I said great, fingers crossed. He came back shortly with a new battery in his hand. Turns out, the battery was bad, causing low voltage to the system which affected the VSS functionality. Bryce let me know to maintain a trickle charge, in the future, so the battery is fully charged. I was so pleased with my experience and went on a great ride after. 1 star, came in and inquired on the vitpilen 401. Arrived and saw the bike, met josh the salesman. Josh was helpful, he told us the sticker price is the out the door price for 401 and 701. 401 being 5600, and 701 being 10,500. Went back the next day and asked about the 401 and only to be told that the promotion they have is only for the 701. I said "ok, even though you told us that the sticker price is the OTD price". So they checked the price with all fees and stuff and bam! 7300. Before this visit happened I called in first to see the price and the manager gave me a price of 6300 to match other dealers. So I mentioned this and they said "ok we'll do 6300 if you sign today". I asked if they can lower it down, and the salesman called his manager. Manager comes in and asked him he said no, "do 6300 and it's yours" he said. So i replied and asked him if I can make some phone calls, "let me call Jet world Powersports and see if they have something going on" the manager replied, "that's fine, go call them I don't care". And walked away So for me I was being honest to them, I didn't make up stuff that that this dealer is doing this and that deal. I was only trying to find the best deal for me. Now looking back at the 701 sticker price it was 10,500 but the manager mentioned during the conversation the manager says the price is 9500. So that's that, I ended up buying from jet Powersports, they're very friendly there. read more

This place is a scam, the inexperienced staff quoted me an out thd door price and tried to a add 3 thousand on top of it after i drove 2 hours to take delivery, they have very limited inventory and dishonest salespeople and management, i confirmed that the price was "out the door" 3 times on the phone . In addition the salesperson called me 3 times to confirm that i was coming so he could prep the car for delivery , which is what i demanded since i was short on time. when i arrived the car had not been touched and would have meant an additional 1 and a half hours of my time wasted, these guys are real con men and definatley not concerned about wasting your time. We bought our 2019 Can-Am from this company and brought it to be serviced. Now I understand Covid is affecting all business however I must have called 5 times and left several voicemails but no one cared to call back. My husband finally got a hold of a service technician and he set up and appointment. We dropped off the can-am and described our issues. $700 later we picked up the Can-Am and it is still has issues. These people charge an arm and a leg and didn't solve our problems. I've been trying to get a hold of them again and the only representative that answers tell me to leave a voicemail! Are you kidding me? Very upset. Please don't drop money here as they will sell you the exact same off road vehicle for thousands more and take your money in "repairs". April 7 Final Update After telling me over the phone that the fuel pump was broken, that didn't sound right to me so I decided to take the ski to my trusted mechanic.  I'M GLAD I DID. Ryan told me I needed a fuel pump for $600 + labor. My mechanic inspected it and within 5 minutes, found air in the fuel line. He took the air out of the line and it started right up. Ryan bragged about his mechanic's 30 year of experience with Sea-Doos. I called Ryan back and told him what we did and that his mechanic should have noticed there was air in the line. He offered no apology and didn't even sound surprised. It's my belief that it was his intention to get me to spend $600+ more on a fuel pump I didn't need - in addition to what I first brought it in for (oil in the rear cylinder and water in the oil). but you be the judge. Now I am still stuck with the original issues that Tri Country said they would fix. However, I WILL NEVER LET THEM TOUCH MY PROPERTY AGAIN. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! read more

I kept on calling them to see updates on the delivery of bike, but only got "no update from Honda." I went into the dealership to check pricing and availability on a Spyder RT Limited and wound ip purchasing one. Chris in sales came out and greated me outside while I was looking at the models they had outside. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went inside to check on pricing. He informed me that Can Am had a $1000.00 discount and had lowered the delivery and setup price. Also that they had a coupon for $250.00 on accessories. He answered all my questions. The financing people were very friendly and helpful, Kevin the manager was also friendly and helpful and made sure I was satisfied got the deal I wanted and I wound up purchasing the Spyder that day. A day after picked up the Spyder I went back for a few minor issues and Ryan the service manager was very helpful to get the issues taken care of. Kudos to Dan, the service Technician that fixed the issues, very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do and explained everything he had to do to fix them, answered all my questions and gave me some good tips.
