I shopped around and ended up driving from Ladera Ranch, past multiple dealerships that had the same bike and through LA to come to this dealership to buy my bike. The reason why was simple. When I called the dealership and spoke to Tyler on the phone, it was easy! Laid back and knowledgeable. I took the chance and made the hike through Los Angeles. When I got there, everything came together as discussed on the phone so we made the deal. Tyler and Kevin made for a great buying experience at this dealership. I had my bike serviced here for the first time. I'm rarely surprised, but they surprised me on how quickly they finished the repair. Their secret? They had a replacement sprag clutch for an MV Agusta. Instead of waiting almost 2 weeks, it was done in 2 days. I went into this business a few days ago looking for a particular Honda SxS. They had it in stock, so I decided to see what they could do numbers-wise. My salesman, Josh, was easy to deal with, and he knew we were in the exploratory phase. Nonetheless, he, along with his manager, Kevin, came up with a final number that looked pretty good. We had a buffer of the weekend, and I was able to do some research. I've not bought a motorcycle or ATV/UTV, so I wanted to see where we stood with the final number from the store. I'll cut to the chase. I contacted multiple dealerships to check on an OTD price for what I was looking at - one dealership is allegedly renowned for having no added dealer fees. At the end of the day, the final price from Tri County was completely competitive with any other dealership I contacted, and we decided to make the purchase with Tri-County. We love the fact that our sale was no pressure, no upsell, and the business is local. We'll do our best to work with local businesses whenever we can. This is possibly the grandest joke of a dealership that I have ever visited. Was trying to decide between a KTM and a Husqvarna, and since they were the only ones in the area that sells Husky I figured I would visit. Not only were they rude when it comes to welcoming me as a customer but the arrogant vibe that was oozing from the salesman almost seemed too ridiculous to be real. I began asking questions about financing and price and I was told that he didn't know and that financing would be the ones who would know. When I asked to speak with financing I was told I couldn't. I then simply asked for an out the door price, nothing that any other dealership on earth doesn't do every day. The response was that they needed me to sit down and give them some info first. When I said that I simply just wanted a price on the bike The salesman once again supplied a non informing and empty answer. In the 18 years I have been buying bikes, I have never once met a dealer who didn't want to sell a product or have an ounce of care for the customer. As I was leaving the large inventory and lack of visitors began to finally make sense. 1 Star for stock, -4 for a lame, unfriendly, wannabe dealership. My 2020 CanAm Ryker 900 Rally had a very annoying problem. I went into trouble of making a video of exactly what was happening as it was pretty unusual. The dealership I had bought the Ryker from had proved themselves to be dishonest as well as arrogantly incompetent, so they were out of the picture. I sent the video to the service department of a dealership nearby, then called to see what they thought. They informed me that in their view there was nothing wrong with the Ryker and the behavior was 'The nature of the beast". Time to move to the next dealership, and another video sent to the service department. Having received no response I called them and was told that yes they had received the video but not looked at it because they need to have the bike with them first. Next in line was Tri-County Powersports. They actually did bother to review and discuss the video with the relevant personnel of the dealership, responded to me quickly, were polite, and clearly eager to help. I had no reason not to entrust the repair of the bike to them. The process took virtually six weeks mostly due to BRP's (the manufacturer of the CanAm) lack of timely responsiveness, but it was done, and I collected the CanAm yesterday. read more

It's so weird. A few weeks ago, the sales guy (who is no longer there) quoted me a price over the phone that was $1000 lower than what I was given once I arrived at the dealership. I rolled with it because it ended up being the same price other dealerships were offering. Still kind shady. This week, something really crazy happened with Tri County. I called to confirm internet pricing on a new GROM. I wasn't in the mood for another surprise. Now, I had just purchased a bike at this shop and I had cash in hand for another. To be fair, I did float the idea of a trade with a 400cc bike I have, but never made it a deal breaker. But, I never heard another word from these guys. So, I went down the road to Cal Coast Motorsports in Ventura. I had a great, no nonsense experience. Within 2 hours a new GROM was prepped and delivered to my door. read more

Was in the market for a new motorcycle, thou not sure what it was gonna be. Went in there and spoke with a nice informative young salesman named Jake. He was very knowledgeable on his products he sold. Never in the whole time I was speaking with him did I feel uncomfortable or pushed upon to make a purchase. I did find the right bike for myself, only by his knowledge of products and his pleasant demenor. Definitely a good salesperson with knowledge and with a great product line to choose from. read more

Stay away from this place. I wish I would have stayed away. It all started when I bought my bike there brand new 2017 Husky 701. They quoted me a price and when I arrived they did not honor that price anymore. I should have walked out right there and then but instead I played their game and ended up paying more than I should have. Other issues followed. They basically took my bike apart an then held me hostage saying I either fix it the way they wanted me to fix it and pay $4000 or I can come and pick up the bike in parts. KTM (owned by Husky) quoted me 10 hours @ $90 for the repair. Tri county wanted 19 hours @ $125. When I told them about the price that KTM quoted me Griffin simply told me "Well we are an independent dealer and can charge whatever we want. Feel free to pick up your bike (in parts) and have KTM do the work" of course KTM would never ever work on a fully taken apart bike so there was no way for me to switch workshops and they knew it. This place will take advantage of you the minute they can. They even charged me for some parts twice and replaced parts that were ok and did not need replacement. Again when I told them about it they said "We can either change it all or you can pick up the bike". Very hostile. When I asked them for a written workshop order it took them a long time to get that to me. In the beginning Griffin simply said "We can not give you one we can only give it to K&N when they call us". Why would they say that? After my terrible experience with them and since I started telling everyone about this many friends told me about similar experiences. I wish I had heard that before. Got to TO Powersports or take the time to drive further but avoid this place!!!! read more

Tri county is awesome! I bought a 2018 black pearl polaris rzr xp 4 1000 when they first started doing Polaris. The price was competitive and found some rebates which made it even sweeter. They even went and helped me get it insured for a reasonable rate. About 2 months after I bought it, it was time for the first service and they did the job for less than anyone else and did a great job. They will be getting all of my business including all the after market accessories I will be adding to this thing. I wanted to keep my money locally and I'm glad I found them. So far the experience has been pretty good. Kevin was pretty transparent about the deal and broke it down so I can understand what's going in. Paper work took a little longer than I expected, also typical dealership stuff, there's a lot of waiting. I usually try to get financing and approvals done online to save time and even then I still got dragged until closing lol :-) other than that they offered to deliver at no extra charge, got some extra accessories (we will see in a couple of days how that went) getting it installed as I write the review but the folks at parts department were really helpful and price of accessories were fair and labor seemed fair as well. I guess we will really find out a few months later if ever I have issues with the Ryker (mechanical or contract wise) if the 5 star is well deserved, for now, the fact that the deal was pretty straight forward and no hustling, 5 star it is read more

Stay away if you can help it. I flew all the way from SF to buy CBR1000. The bike is awesome but I got 0 service from the very beginning. Waited more than hour for them to start working on my papers. Got dead battery that barely brought me home. After several days the said they made a mistake and gave me wrong registration. It turned out later, when I got suspension from DMV, they had also provided me a wrong VIN... All my attempts to talk to them gave nothing. read more

This is your place if you are into sketchy dealers. Sales men are unapproachable from the very beginning. Had a horrible experience at this dealer. You are better off visiting any local dealership in the area. After three attempts of trying to make a deal at this place, everything was said and done and last minute they wanted to sell me a year older bike who they claimed that's the one I wanted when the sticker price was the same, a husky 2021 and the 2020. The sells men was stubborn on selling the 2020 bike because he claimed there was no difference yet the 2021 bike had the same exact sticker price (sketchy) Went down to the nearest dealership that the same night, around 8:30pm and with no hesitation they sold me the same bike but a 2021 KTM for the exact same price they wanted to sell me the 2020 husky. And same Leander and interest rate. They have said this is not the first time they hear from customers from this dealer, have horrible customer experience. ZERO STARS - DON'T TRUST THEM. That's a bold statement, but they are pretty slimy, ESPECIALLY the owner Paul. I rode over there from Valencia to check out a used Kawasaki Concours and possibly trade my current bike in for it (which I bought brand new from THEM!!!). Paul followed me when I took it on a test ride, and I loved the bike. We came back and I wanted to try to make a deal, but their power went out. I filled out a credit app, and told him to call me when the power came back on. About an hour later, he gives me a call and asks which motorcycle I wanted to trade in. I rode my 2014 Ninja over there, but I wanted to trade in my 2014 Honda Stateline. I told him I was trading in the Honda Stateline, just like I told the sales rep, and he said ok, he'll work on the deal and he'd call me back. They closed at 5pm that day, and it was getting close, so I called back at 4pm, and they said he was with another customer. 5pm came around with no phone call. Talk about a cheesy business practice. Ok, maybe they got busy (I doubt that place gets busy). I call back on Monday and asked for him. They said sure, asked for my name, they came back and said he was in a meeting. Right. I call back later in the day, and still get the "he's with a customer" bit... At this point I wanted to drive down there and tell him personally what cheeseball he is, but I kept my cool, and will just write as many negative reviews as possible. If I can just reach one person who will not buy from them, I will be happy. It doesn't appear that they ran my credit, so I have to assume when Paul found out that I was trading in my Honda Stateline that THEY originally sold me instead of my Ninja, he didn't want to do the deal, but being a cheesy salesman wannabe owner, he didn't have the b*lls to call me and tell me. I ended up buying a used Concours from Thousand Oaks Powersports a few days later. Those guys are a class act. Parts & Sales are great, they are very helpful. The service dept. is where Griffin needs to learn some customer service skills. Griffin was very rude and was very condescending when asked a simple question. He became more aggressive when I gave back attitude then decided to follow me from the service area to the sales floor chirping in my ear when I attempted to leave. He continued to say that his co-workers at the parts desk didn't know what they were talking about and repeatedly said "have a nice day." I was warned by a family member about Griffin when they had to bring in their Arctic Cat in 3 times for the same light issue, they eventually took the Arctic Cat to another shop. Griffin does not know what he is doing. I will continue using the parts desk but will not deal with Griffin any longer. read more

Had a great experience with Griffin in the Service Department. My new MV Agusta had a brake light out. Griffin told me to come down and he got it fixed within minutes. While leaving the parking lot I pulled a rookie turn and dropped the bike and broke a good portion of my clutch lever off. Griffin quickly filed down the end and applied touch up paint while the parts department put me in touch with a source for a replacement lever. These guys are great! I bought a Sea Doo GTR 230 and they were very knowledgeable and professional. Nick was my salesperson and he walked me through the different models and financing options. The transaction went smoothly. I did have to wait a few weeks longer than expected for BRP to ship the 2018 models but even though it was the manufacturer's fault Tri-County gave me a gift card to make up for it. When I took delivery, Nick went out if his way to mark the important parts of the manual (a nice touch you can tell comes from experience) just in case I wanted to drop the Sea Doo in the water that day. He also helped me hook the trailer up and get me on my way. Great guys at tri county. They've been very helpful--I've bought two bikes from them, a used 2005 Suzuki Bandit 1200S and a used 2012 Honda CB1000R. The Honda wasn't even broken in yet when I bought it! Griffin and his techs in service have been very fair on labor prices and has always done well with my bikes--both bikes listed above and a Yamaha dirt bike.
