Just had my house fumigated by TRI-FUME INC. & I had a GREAT experience. The guys did a great job cleaning after themselves & they where as careful as possible during set up & im sure they did the same when they took their tent off, I was not there but have no doubt on it... some plants had to be covered due to them being to close to house, I completly understand... People I spoke with were polite & professional, not on time but I did understand the nice lady in office said "aproximate time" when she called. Good company from my experience. Tri-Fume Inc - Killing bugs - Pest Control Near Me - Oxnard, California

There are basically three (3) fumigation companies in Ventura County and this is one, other is Best Fumigation. Initially you call a Termite and Pest Control operator and they have the license to inspect and provide a recommendation but if you have it tented for termites it will be subcontracted out to one of the three fumigation companies licensed to do that work. Oversight is the CA Structural Pest Control Board. Call them and open a claim if you have a valid complaint and the company will not assist reasonably. Take photos, modify the contract if needed, ask for roof or damage insurance be provided...take responsibility and don't just walk BLIND into these matters anymore than you would to buy a car or open a credit card. Now I would say this company, Joe and the others there don't really care about using "reasonable care" like the contract states...they just want to get in and out as fast as they can and collect the money. I would suggest a second opinion, have them clean up the droppings before they start so you can monitor if the little termites are gone after the tent job too. This field of service has always been a racket so BUYER BEWARE. Read the contract, protect yourself, don't be shy about modifying the contract and take action to protect your home from unnecessary damage. read more

We went through a company that outsourced to Tri-Fume. Had I looked at Tri-Fume as an option (based on these Yelp reviews), I would have steered away. Since I was not aware the company I contracted with used Tri-Fume, I did end up having Tri-Fume's staff do the fumigation tenting. Ultimately, they did a good job. They were supposed to be at our place between 11 and 1. They arrived around 10:15. They unloaded what they could and waited for us to finish loading our car and moving our food stuff offsite. We were out of the house around 11 but still moving stuff to a neighbors place. We left around 11:15 and they were FAST on getting that tent up. The supervisor/lead was the only one we saw go into the house, laying lines/fans/etc. They started on a Friday morning. They were done by Monday morning. We showed up Monday as the crew arrived and they tore the tenting down quick. They were careful for the most part. We had one broken item, and they resolved the issue to my satisfaction within 3 days. Can't ask for much faster response than that. Three days after they did the tenting, you cannot tell they were even there. On Friday, I asked them to turn on the house fan when they wrapped up on Monday and leave upstairs windows only open for the airing out process. They were conscientious about not wanting to leave lower windows open. So.. I give 5 stars... They did a great job, resolved the one issue I had quickly, and left a minimal footprint. I would seriously consider using them again and cutting out the initial company go-between. read more

We had our house tinted back in 2016. Recently we discovered we might have termites again. So I called Trump-Fume on a Friday left a message. Almost a week later no return call. So I called again. Explained we were informed we might have termites again before I could even finish my sentence she said YOUR OUT OF WARRANTY. First I was shocked how RUDE she was. After that I even forgot I called to see if they would give another estimate t O have house tinted. People who spend money with a company deserves better read more

I had Tri-Fume fumigate my house a few months ago. After reading these reviews - It looks like there is a trend of theft. I had a container of coins - probably worth around $3,000 stashed away in a room. After the fumigation was completed the coins were missing. I complained and called the rep that did the fumigation. They said they would investigate and get back to me and never did. Overall very suspicious circumstances...I guess you get what you pay for. read more

I had a TERRIBLE experience with TRI-FUME. They fumigated my house and they did not let us know important things, like the fact they would leave all windows opened and even the garage door opened. When they came back to remove the tent they called us to let us know, someone had ripped the tent and someone had broken into our home while it was being fumigated. This all seemed very suspicious to me. I looked into other companies and I found out they only leave windows opened when they will be there to SUPERVISE the property. If they had told me the likelihood that my property would be broken into due to all windows being opened I would have slept in my car or a tent outside. I also suspect it might have been TRI-FUME or his workers who broke into my house, they seemed to know where everything was in my house even places and rooms that are not connected. They went through every single room and stole electronics and other valuables. They also made us pay CASH only. Very fishy. If I would have known more about this company I would have NEVER hired them to fumigate my house. If you are thinking about fumigating your house, I would suggest you DO NOT hire this company, look around, there is surely a better company than this one. read more

We used Tri -Fume to tent and fumigate our home in East Ventura. The owner was very friendly giving us a free quote before we made our decision to have the fumigation done. He came out again to instruct us to prepare the home for fumigation supplying us with the needed bags and know how. The morning of the fumigation when the crew arrived the crew chief brought extra bags and helped us complete our needed preparation. The crew was quick and efficient. We had to stay a couple of nights in downtown Ventura for the two days the tent was on and our cats stayed at wonderful Kittyland. After the two days of tenting we returned to our home where there was no trace of any order or fumigation residue. Tri-Fume made the whole process easy. read more

I wish I could give this company no stars. They are completely terrible. We were at our home while the tent was being put on. We were there right after it was taken off. Somehow in that time our home was ransacked. Tri-Fume says it was someone who broke in but somehow failed to contact us or the police when they noticed? We called the police and they came out and said it has happened before with this company and will happen again. They said it is an inside job. One of the employees of Tri-Fume told us he opened and closed our windows with his sweatshirt sleeve so there was no fingerprints? Quite suspicious! The owner came to our home and confronted us and was very rude and disrespectful. As if we were the ones who caused our home to be robbed. DO NOT...DO NOT hire this company. Or DO NOT hire Hydrex for that matter since they subcontract to Tri-Fume. read more
