He began his diagnostics and eventually found the issue, which was not one of the common ones for dryers to stop working. The technician repaired my machine quickly, but apparently poorly, as the part that he replaced (at 3x the part cost from Maytag) failed again in 90 days. After replacing this part for second time and adding another repair part (for additional cost), this second-time replacement part failed again with 45 days. Having spent almost the cost of a new machine just in repair parts and installation, I finally called it quits and bought a non-Maytag machine. I doubt that I will ever call upon Superior Appliance again for any appliance repair (my tough luck, I guess, for choosing them at Maytag's recommendation).

He said he would return the next day to replace the line, and I paid the $140 fee for the service call. Despite several calls and texts, they never returned to replace the drain line. Thought to go to larger service company, but decided to give Bay a call first. They were helpful and friendly on the phone and actually offered to come the same day (larger companies I looked into offered next day service)! The technician was prompt and friendly. He was able to diagnose problem quickly and thoroughly. While I know that not every problem will be as clear and simple as our (baby sock stuck in water pump), but I was grateful that I didn't have to play games or do a run around with the company on price, time, service, etc. Bay is a family run business and they treated my family as a family, and not an opportunity to make some money. I would call them again (hopefully we don't have to lol) and recommend Bay Appliance without hesitation based on my experience.
