Great job of installing a new shifter in my Mustang. Excellent service and very fair price.

Not only did he get everything done professionally, but also very quickly. While he had the rear wheel off, he discovered that I needed rear brake pads. He had them in stock and saved me time and money by catching that and replacing them so that my bike would be road ready and safe. Motorcycle shops are extremely busy this time of year due to it being riding season. He's currently the only one running the shop, so give him some grace with time. However, he knocked my services out very quickly and did a great job. I will continue to do business with Derek and I recommend everyone else in the area to give him a shot. Thanks again, Derek!

However, I wanted to give them the opportunity to do business with me. Unfortunately, the other reviews were right, as were some personal opinions of friends. I think Derek may bi-polar or have some other disorder. One minute he's speaking normal answering your questions, then all of a sudden switches on you as if how dare you walk into his shop to get work on your bike done. Very aggressive, similar to those recent cellphone captured clips of flight attendants berating passengers. Polar opposite of any attempt to earn my trust or any future referrals I might bring. Ultimately, I turned around walked out as he asked to take down my information. I won't give this business a dime after my experience here and I hope no one after me does either. I can't imagine what it might be like dealing with these people if there was a mistake done on your bike or had a billing issue? Headaches already and they hadn't even laid a finger on my precious bike.

When I arrived, he greated us warmly and included my wife in all of our discussions. He walked the floor with us and showed us the bikes we wanted to see, even helping balance them so we could sit in a riding position. After settling on one model to drive, he set everything up, got the bike out of the showroom, and prepped it. Once I returned from the ride, we settled on the numbers and started the purchase process. All the while Cody was treating us as though we were his only customer even though he was moving between 4 deals. Cody, Greg the Finance Manager, and the entire team at Garcia Moto were polite, a pleasure to work with and I had a wonderful buying experience. Other car and motorcycle dealers could learn from them. I am now the proud owner of a 2018 Indian Springfield! Thank you Cody and the Garcia Moto team!

Because the valves needed to be check/adjusted, I trailered the motorcycle to/from so the engine would be cool and I could get it done same day. To check and adjust the valves, the fuel tank had to be removed from the bike. Took it out for a ride first thing Sunday morning. At around 7:30 a.m., shortly into my ride, my legs started to feel wet. I looked down and noted gas spraying from under the fuel tank all around my left leg (spraying because these scramblers have a high pressure fuel pump). I looked up to figure out how to safely get off the state route and immediately felt my legs getting really warm. Looked back down, and flames were shooting out around both my legs. I killed the engine, stopped quickly with the front brake, and jumped from the motorcycle. To be sure I was driving normal highway speeds, on my own, in Eastern NC. No twists and turns or anything aggressive. Called Garcia Moto from the site and left them a voicemail. Also emailed them this video. Having not heard from them by Tuesday at noon, I took what was left to them to see what could be done. The service manager told me that he had received my messages but had been directed by the owner to not contact me--that Garrett Garcia just wanted to wait and see how things would play out. Garrett refused to take any responsibility, ultimately saying I would just have to deal with it. He and his Ducati tech insisted the valve service (which required removing and reinstalling the fuel tank) was super simple and that there's NO WAY they could possibly be at fault. If you know anything about bikes, you know this is not true. There are all sorts of things that could go wrong when servicing a motorcycle, which is why the service cost me over $1660! Even Ducati North America investigated the bike and told me there were no manufacturing defects in the bike. Incidentally, the service required them to also check all fuel lines and fittings, so even if they didn't damage them and the components were faulty, that is LITERALLY THE POINT of the service. Pretty gutted. I'm 39 years old and this was the first vehicle I ever purchased brand new. Took exceptional care of it and wound up with nothing the very first time I let Garcia Moto take care of my motorcycle.
