The person on the phone was so wonderful in fitting me in quickly because floaters can become problematic. Once I entered the office I knew that I was in good hands. I was welcomed right away and made to feel very comfortable. The technician (I am sorry that I cannot recall his name, but he is a young man and I believe his name is Marut??) was very thorough and very patient with me. He listened to my comments about what has been going on with my eyes recently and is very skilled at taking pressures from a patient's eyes. It did not take long for Dr. Irina Feiner to come in and see me for my exam. She is so patient and kind and truly listens to her patients. She was very great about picking up on the fact that my family history means I should not be dilated for a test she was going to conduct on my one eye with floaters. I feel very confident with the diagnosis from Dr. Feiner and her course of action for me. At check-out Sharon was super kind and very personable. I look forward to my next visit at this My Eye Dr. locations.

After Nakagawara left, I was paired up with Dr. Durham and then Dr. Ogden who is really good and thorough! She explains everything and waits around for questions like you're the only patient she has. If she finds something in your eye that doesn't sit well with her, she makes sure she's satisfied it's safe before she sends you on your way. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The front desk, intake and even checkout, all seem happy to see you! Their communication vehicles include not just call in but also texting and email. The texting option works well even with scheduling an appointment. You really can't go wrong trying them out! If you're paired with someone that the personality doesn't fit, ask to see someone else next time. They really do a great job getting you comfortable. Highly recommended!

A friend recommended Dr. Adam Bryan to me and I am glad he did…read more Dr. Bryan is thorough, patient, and friendly - and best of all, he took time with my appointment. He has a perfectly reasonable, logical explanation for whatever ails you, and he does whatever he can to explain it to you. He also uses technology that - prior to visiting his office - I hadn't seen in other optometrists' offices, like the camera that takes a big, clear photo of the inside of your eye to check for any horrifying abnormalities and to compare the overall state of their health year after year. The rest of the staff was really helpful. An employee that was awesome helped me pick frames and I personally didn't feel any pressure to buy, just helpful suggestions about the shape and color of the frames. There is a reason Carolina Family Vision was voted "Best Eye Doctor" in Holly Springs this year.

I went and needed to make an appointment- a week later 4/21/27 i was examined and I was impressed with all the updated machines. I had to wait a few weeks for glasses to be made, which is not unusual. I then went in and tried them on, these were $900 bifocals with all the bells and whistles, but the long-distance view was blurry. I immediately told this to the woman helping me, but she said take them home and get used to them and if they don't get better, bring them back. After a week, I went back and they gave me another exam, and the results were different from the first. After waiting another week or so, I went back again. the new glasses were fine. However, upon leaving, they handed me the old prescription and did not give me the accurate prescription. All was fine until I wanted to get a pair of prescription sunglasses from Costco. I gave them the script from Carolina Vision and waited a week. These sunglasses were for a vacation planned for the beginning of September to see Ireland. Well, when I tried the new sunglasses on , they were blurry. The optometrist at Costco tested my regular glasses and discovered the the script the I was given was the wrong script. so now i have to go on my vacation without the benefit of great sunglasses . Bottom line - Carilina Family vision looks pretty on the outside, the salespeople are professional, but behind the scenes it is a clown show .

It's literally been 12 1/2 months since my last visit but I was going to make an appointment anyway to see if my eyes had changed any: After I had made the appointment the lady or gentleman said "oh I just want to let you know you have to get an additional test the provider wants you to have and that's $50 on top of your deductible " uhm listen to what you just said. You want me to pay for something THE PROVIDER wants to do. I Bet they do want to charge everyone $50 extra but it should be a choice not a you have to do this bc the provider wants extra money. I just requested my prescription and will order it online. So much for being able to build local relationships bc everyone is so money hungry it's not enough to see someone for what their insurance will cover. You now have to try to squeeze more out for a test that is NOT necessary for a routine eye exam. I will Be moving myself, wife and kids to another company that doesn't force services on you.ppl can barely afford to buy groceries and you want to add some extra stuff is wild.

He preformed my eye exam quickly after I explained mg symptoms then explained he would be ordering medication to the pharmacy I chose. However, he never took the time to explain what his formal diagnosis was. I understand it is the holidays, but I am paying to be seen here and have for years. I should never feel like I'm begging for his time. Second, I told him I was concerned about not being about to wear contacts in my eyes because my glasses need a higher prescription. He replied "that's why we get our prescriptions filled isn't it" ---- being the "board renowned optometrist" he is and "college educated" you should know that insurance companies typically only cover contacts or glasses not both--his demeanor is off putting, tone death, lacks bedside manner and egotistical. I had no issue with the woman optometrist I was seeing before him here. Please be better.

The pupil distance shoulld be on your prescription or be provided on your exam. It was not. This is a test done and measured during your eye glass exam. They said they didn't do that which is done at every place that performs eye exams. They said to go next door to lens crafters and they could get it to me. Lens crafters workers says they do measure it but would only give me my measurements if I was going to buy glasses from them and at check out. This Lens crafters also doesnt take insurance for frames, so get ready to pay $$$ a lot for a limited selection.
