The office is nicely appointed, clean and has plenty of parking right out front. I was treated very well, from the receptionist to the eyewear fitting. All of the employees were polite, kind yet professional. I really liked the doctor who listened to my history and gave me a very good exam. They have a large selection of glasses and I was able to find several that I liked. The nice lady who helped me was so patient and helpful. I am so glad I found Preston's Optometry.

My prescription was written in December 2024, so beware this vendor sets expiration at 365 days the NC legal minimum. Prescriptions can be valid for 2 years, because many only have coverage for vision every other year. SO BE AWARE CLARITY IS A NICE PLACE DRIVEN BY THE DOLLAR. There were NO employees in sight other than the 2 at the front desk who didn't even get out of their chair. The older lady on the left (who didn't crack a smile the first time either) was downright majorly rude!!!!! The younger African American lady wanted to just hand me the glasses and get rid of me! She seemed very very annoyed that I actually wanted to try them on! Then when the glasses made me instantly dizzy, the older lady kept arguing with me and gaslighting, saying it was just because the prescription changed and that I would "get used to it"!! I kept telling her the prescription did NOT change (and it made me wonder how many kids she had gaslighted into leaving without getting satisfaction!)! The ONLY reason I got the glasses to begin with was that the others had not been adjusted right and they gave me an eventual migraine. But THESE gave me an instant migraine AND made me dizzy! FINALLY a lady employee came out from hiding and said "let me see...". She said the curve had not been taken out - 5 seconds of adjusting... better, but not great. They ARGUED (literally all 3 of them) with me that there was nothing else they could do and that I would get used to it. I had to keep standing my ground - which no one should have to do!!! I felt like I was in a full-on battle! Finally, a guy employee came out from hiding and adjusted them and 10 seconds later they were fine. WOW!!! Totally makes me wonder how many others they have gaslighted instead of just knowing we are not lying or mistaken and just fixing the problem!!!! I left in tears and exhausted from a battle I was not expecting and should have never had!!!!!!! (PS- I was the ONLY customer there.) Will NEVER go back! NOTHING is worth that! This company has gone downhill ever since the original owners Clark and Glupckner decided to expand the business and then sell it off. Costco will be my go to for glasses.

It was nice they let me know so I didn't get a surprise bill for the whole amount!! Upon arriving at my appointment, I was pleased with the aesthetics of the waiting area. Very fresh and modern! A Keurig coffee maker was a nice touch! And LOVED the huge print of the tree on the wall. The lady who took some initial tests was very friendly. I apologize I don't recall her name. Dr. Patel was nice as well. I ordered new contacts and replacement lenses for my glasses (I kept the same frames). It's kind of a shame that you don't get to leave WITH your items. The contacts are being shipped to my home and I have to come back to pick up my glasses. I'm used to same day service. The one... UNUSUAL... aspect was when filling out the medical form. I found it odd that HAY FEVER was listed in the same category as CANCER, HIV and AIDS. One is sneezing, the others- a little more.

Bought two pair of glasses in '22-'23…read more I've had nothing but problems with the lens falling out and now the arm of the glass that fits in the ear, a spring inside attachment breaking off and the arm that goes around your ear falling apart. Manager Brittany at HS wants to charge me 80 plus tax for replacement/repair and argues on the phone with me that's the best she can do. If you're thinking about going here I'd think twice. She claimed the year warranty was over. But if a merchant sells a defective frame - and I've had quite few glasses in my lifetime with never a problem- if it sellls a defective frame it should make good. There's more, but that's essentially the problem I'm having w them today.

I will be disputing this with my card and insurance because I refuse to spend even more money when they obviously entered something incorrect pertaining to my astigmatism. I should have never left Carolina Family Vision since I've never had an issue with my prescription from them. Edited to add: I just thought I should fill everyone in. Two months ago they did replace my lenses without a recheck so they actually confirmed that they DON'T have good customer care.
