Shannon first implemented Apex's location with Jensen and Co off of Mt Rose street, and now she's in a cute little house off of Eureka. Both locations are clean and welcoming. Parking was a little more tricky at Jensen and Co. With the new location, there's definitely a lot more street parking. There are stairs to get down to where I was for my laser tattoo removal appointment. I'm not sure if there's an ADA accessible entrance to the bottom floor. I will continue to support Shannon in her endeavors and she makes the whole experience super easy and stress free. 10/10 recommend for any laser needs.

I save so much money and time not buying eyebrow pencils and filling in my brows, that alone is priceless. PLUS, the result is so natural!! How long is the healing time? About a month, but honestly after they peel the first time (about 5 days after your appointment) they look perfect (you don't even realize you still have some time to heal). I have only been almost squished about 3 times in the last 10 years. Not bad for Reno. CONVENIENCE: They are no longer open 24 Hours. The Pharmacy window is only open 9:00am to 8pm with a half hour closure for lunch. The rest of the store still cares a huge collection of stuff. Items that apparently are "shoplifting magnets" ie most beauty products are now in locked shelves. ATMOSPHERE There seem to be fewer "dodgy" patrons than in the past. Shelves are better displayed and don't seem as cramed. It is clean and well lit. SERVICE: Still pretty slow, and staff has been drastically reduced. I have had no problems with either the pharmacy or the front checkout, it just takes a while. On the plus side, staff are friendly and professional. My insurance no longer covers prescriptions from Walgreens. I just learned that Walgreens is not affiliated with the large third-party Pharmacy Benefit Manager. So the convenience and location have been major factors in me continuing to shop here.

Tribe Salon is such a feel-good environment every single time I walk in. From the moment you arrive, Dani at the front desk is so personable and genuinely helpful she sets the tone for the whole experience. The salon décor is super cozy, and not only are the stylists amazing, but the other clients are friendly too. I always end up having fun, meaningful conversations with new people it truly feels like a community, not just a salon. I've gone to several different stylists at Tribe and they absolutely nails it every time. My blonde balayage with face-framing "money pieces," long layers, and overall cut are always on point. My hair feels silky smooth when I leave, and beyond her talent, she's just a joy to be around warm, pleasant, and so skilled. I also love that Tribe Salon takes great care of their employees. Supporting socially responsible small businesses matters to me, and this is exactly the kind of company I want to give my business to. I have thin, fine natural curly hair & it hard to find some one who knows how to trim or cut it. The rep from Tribe returned my call almost immediately & it seemed as if I was being interviewed & was asked to text her a picture. Honestly I can appreciate this type of care as she was able to pair me up with the most qualified stylist, & at the last minute, like 3/4 days that I needed to have my hair cut. I was not familiar with the location of the shop & thinking I would be late I called her & she was able to direct me with no problems & contacted they stylist that I was on my way. I am writing to formally request a full refund for a highly unsatisfactory service received at your salon. On February 14th, I had an appointment with Jessica for a root touch-up and highlights. The service resulted in my hair remaining brown, without highlights, and becoming severely brittle. Subsequent attempts to rectify the issue were unsuccessful; Jessica failed to attend a scheduled follow-up, and a toner applied by Gloria did not address the lack of highlights. Due to the unacceptable outcome and the necessity of seeking professional correction elsewhere for the damage and desired style, I canceled a further appointment. I request a complete refund for the service, including the cash tip provided. I was previously informed that my refund request would be escalated to the owner, but I have yet to receive a response. I came to Meko with chemically damaged, flat and neglected hair. I'm a natural mousy brown with fine hair, so it was difficult for me to find a regimen and product that provided volume while also maintaining health and moisture. With Meko's knowledge of hair products, dyes, conditioners, and cutting, she was able to build my hair back to it's best potential! I had my hair shaped up after a previous haircut where my stylist used thinning shears (a big mistake). Thinning shears are never good on curly hair, as they destroy the curl pattern. Rossio was my stylist, and she did a wonderful job cutting my hair, giving it a hydrating hair mask, and taking her time with my curly hair. Her technique made my curls bounce and look fantastic. Not only did she do an excellent job with the cut, but she also coached me on a hair routine to maintain my curls. She taught me about soothing cream, moisturizing gel and shampoo and conditioner technique. I was blown away by her knowledge and skill set. The salon itself is charming and located in midtown, with plenty of free parking. Count me as a customer and fan!

I always keep my appointments or try and reschedule if I have a sick kid or husband. I always pay without issue and always always tip. On 6/6 I had an appointment after work, like normal. My lash fills take normally 2-3 hours. Partially because I have a bladder disease and do take breaks to void my bladder. I let her know this day 1 because I don't want to make her late for other appointments or her family, etc. she never said it was a problem. Anyways after almost 3 hours of a fill, where my lashes were messed up from the prior fill 2 weeks earlier, I was shocked when I saw my lashes were NOT ok. Sparse and clumpy. She said she was sorry but I had so many baby lashes I couldn't have my full lashes. Paid $70 and tipped $20 cash. I drove home, which is 60 miles away. When I got home I saw just how bad they were. I messaged her and said hey it's not your fault but I can't do these I don't like them. She said sorry but then agreed to see me Monday, not Tuesday, and I said great. 30 min maybe we can get them fixed a bit. I showed up at 5:05pm on Monday 6/9. She wasn't there. The woman at the salon was doing hair and told me Cristina would be right back. 20 min later I messaged Cristina she didn't reply. She didn't even read the message. 20 minutes after that, I said I have to go. Salon worker apologized and said she didn't hear from Cristina at all either. I messaged Cristina and then decided to move on and try and find a new artist to fix and repair my eyes even if I had to be without extensions for awhile. After ONE ENTIRE WEEK, I got that weird message from Cristina. I had already moved on and found a girl who agreed to try and repair me. My eyes were bruised and in pain from the glue and clumps stuck on my lids. When I asked for a refund she blocked me from on FB and IG. If she didn't like me after 7 months she could've been honest. If she didn't like my queer family she could've been honest. I feel she purposely messed up my lashes and caused me pain and drama. Beware. I have many photos and my new last tech told me that Cristina glued the lashes to my LID. I am not perfect I pee a lot and I snore when I fall asleep, but I tolerated her vaping in my face when I was laying down and the 2-3 hour fills. Im sorry she hates me so much and I would like my money back.

She was honest and straightforward, we decided to remove them completely and reschedule for a new set.
