In the decade or so since I started selling prints of my photography, I have discovered and dropped more production houses than I can even count. They all seemed great at first, only to jump to the top of my sh!t list for one reason or another. So far--*fingers crossed*--Tribeca Printworks wins. I've been working with them for more than a year now and they have not disappointed. They produce beautiful prints with lightning fast speed. When I had them produce a 48" x 72" print of one of my shots, I literally watched them build me a shipping tube that could fit the print. That's great service. And if you're local, they are super convenient -- just steps away from the B, D, F, M and 6 trains. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I have to share the exceptional customer service from this business that was at a level that I wish all businesses functioned at. This company is more concerned about giving their customers a quality piece of art, than just making a sale that will just fill an order but not yield a great outcome. I tried to order a metal wall art piece using a photo I took and love to hang in a guest bedroom. After they received my order and downloaded photo, they assessed that the resolution was not of high enough quality to give me a great outcome. Hence I chose to cancel the order. A lesser quality driven company would have just made my order and sent it to me, and I would have been severely disappointed. So please use this company if you want a great result, and their pricing is totally reasonable too! I will personally be looking for a way to use this company in the future as I still need several more pieces of art for our new home. Very happy with their work. I had one photo printed on canvas, another on paper, both framed. Laura walked me through the options by phone and email. She was patient and answered all my amateurish questions very cordially. She advised me to downsize the piece on canvas as the photo quality began to degrade at the larger size I had requested initially, despite the fact that this brought the price down considerably. Duggal still offers exceptional services, but the company has taken onto new heights serving exclusive cliental that often lower your priority and quality. I was googling around Tribeca trying to to enlarge and print a photo and have it rush matted and framed the same day for a birthday party in the evening in the UWS. Many places wouldn't print it in a few hours and even more so for rush mat and framing. I called in on Friday at lunchtime and was given the option to email the file and pick it up by 6pm. I went in in person instead and was given the option of what kind of paper, mat, etc. They even finished everything in half the time and the price was actually not super expensive (about the same as other places without rush processing). Ashley was great to work with and very personable. The framed photo turned out great and very professional looking, a lot better than if I had just printed it at the drugstore. I highly recommend this place, and even more so if you have rush items that you need done with good quality. read more

Tribeca Printworks has been our go to printer for over a decade and they have produced fine art giclee prints, prints on canvas, paper giclee prints, large format photographic prints, you name it and they can do it! Recently we needed several large canvas giclee pieces printed and stretched for a rush job and they were able to get this done for us in just two days at a very reasonable price by using their great online printing feature. The color and quality, as always, was absolutely perfect and we know that we can always count on them to go the extra mile and give our prints the attention they need. Michael was absolutely awesome and does great work! I needed 20+ photos printed and stretched on a 30x30 canvas and Michael was not only patient as I detailed my vision, but he was spot on when it came to producing. I have very little knowledge of digital artwork or design or anything, but Michael allowed me to be a part of every aspect of creation. He was very communicative throughout the entire process. There was even a point in production that something went wrong and our deadline would've needed to be pushed back, but somehow he figured out a way and had my piece earlier than expected. As it turns out the artist wasn't satisfied with the final result of the print. However, Michael offered different options to resolve the issue and at the end, I got reimbursed immediately for this order. Michael is so dedicated and attentive that he personally picked up the piece. Michael and his team were polite, patient and professional at all times with me during this process. I've worked with (no, "collaborated with" is a better description) Tribeca Printworks and Michael for over ten years. We've done a lot together: Pretty big works ( recently 117" x 60" and a couple at 75" x 60"), small works (recently 20" x 20"), black and white, color, giclee and archival pigment prints, often using papers with names hard to pronounce. I can't think of anything I've requested that he hasn't been able to do in a rather spectacular way. I've exhibited his prints in many galleries and always get great reviews on the quality of his work. "Who's your printer?" Everyone wants to know. So, yeah, his technical skills are over the top. But that's not good enough for me. So, ok, I'm demanding. I want someone with lots of experience to offer ideas, advice, and just thoughts on how to make my work stand out. What about this paper or that canvas? Can you fix this blur? Give me more detail here? Etc. Etc. His reply pretty much always goes like this: "Well, here's what I can do and what cannot be done". And that's how what I want gets done. But it's still not enough for me. Sometimes my schedule is tight so I'm apprehensive about getting in his queue. You need to know, despite my worries, I've never missed a delivery date with him. Michael's always found a way to get my work done timely. So what else could you want? Oh yeah, prices.
