Out of nowhere I felt a sharp pain in my lower back and fell to the ground. I thought it would be temporary and everything would be ok, but sadly I was wrong. I tried to go in to work and had to get off the train and rush to my boyfriends chiro for help. He did what he could, but the pain was still unbearable and I had a flight to catch! I made the trip, but it wasn't enjoyable at all, looking back on things, I should've just taken the L and missed the trip, but I had to be there for my friend and I feel better now so worth it right?!! Once I arrived, I was greeted by the receptionist who had me fill out all the proper paperwork and then I went to see Dr. Bruce! I explained to him what was going on and as soon as he examined me I started crying. When I tell y'all my pain was unbearable I was not kidding! He could tell how much I was hurting and assured me that he'd do everything to help me feel better. After just the first treatment.... y'all I couldn't believe it but I actually left feeling better. I was walking back to my office with a smile and a little pep in my step. I thought they were doing some kind of witchcraft in there because the difference from when I walked in to now leaving was HUGE! I couldn't wait to go back to my next session so I could get to 100% The second session wasn't so great, I left thinking things got worse, but after the third and I fourth, I realized this was all part of the process and finally I can say that I am back to my old self.. but with a better back! Dr. Bruce was fantastic and I am so thankful to him for helping me get to a better place. Although I feel better, I plan on going back soon because it's nice to just get seen and make sure things are going along as they should. After this experience I realized, you shouldn't wait until something is terribly wrong to make yourself and your health a priority. And also, the massage therapists they have there are AMAZING!!!!!! Especially Dax, he has magic hands and I believe he could've cured me just with those!

Couple days later, I found myself in excruciating pain on my upper back (shoulder blade) and called them to see if I can pop in for that first visit. Not only did they say "yes, sure come in now," but they also treated the free consultation as if I was already a paying client. Very very nice staff, big & clean office space, looks like they treat all different kinds of things due to the number of staff members and equipment. Already have a follow up appointment. Ready to get better.

My primary care physician sent me for an MRI which did show some nerve impingement but he didn't think it was bad enough to recommend surgery and neither of us wanted to start down the road of constant painkillers. My problem had been going on longer than I realized and I was looking forward to non-ending pain if I did nothing. It was my doctor that suggested a chiropractor might be able to help. I was very impressed by how nice and helpful Lisa was before I even got to the office. Both she and Dr. Cucci are VERY personable and it went a long way to assuaging my anxiety. I love that Dr. Cucci took the time to listen and then thoroughly explain everything, both before and during the treatment. He's got a fantastic bedside manner. These are people who care about the patients and the practice. I didn't expect much after the first session but I was pleasantly surprised that I could raise my arm again after only one visit. I also started sleeping better right away because I wasn't waking up every time I moved my arm or neck. He always asks about the progress and where things are hurting before he starts working on me and with every subsequent visit I have found myself with less and less pain and more range of movement again. I also haven't had a headache since I started! I can hardly believe the difference already. I will highly recommend Dr. Cucci.

Sent me home under strict icing guidelines and rest. The very next day EVEN worse, yep that's right worse. I went back to a follow up appointment this time in so much pain I'm crying barely making it out the door. I slowly make my way over... We decide no adjustments, sends me on my way with a X-ray referral and an MRI recommendation. Dr says, "I'm not worried some people get worse before they get better but go get an MRI". That gave me so much comfort as I was in major pain. Remember I'm in tears because the pain is that bad. It hurt my back to sneeze. I get home try to get into GP, HA!! Good luck with that one. Ended up going to ER. ER hooked me up with a muscle relaxer and other stuff. Came home still in pain. The next day, still in pain... Two days later I wake up...pain is gone. Dr was right! Pretty much back to old self, but now much more aware of core and I plan on getting adjusted more regularly at House of Chiropractic. Such a chill knowledgeable nice Dr. and he was right, I was fine. My body just needed more time to heal.

He LOVES what he does, and it is obvious in his care. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. He does not try to up sell care and is fantastic at explaining things and offering advice for home care between adjustments. The first month, I saw him weekly. I now see him once a month or so. Daily pain that I thought would be a permanent part of my life has been relieved. First visit is $149 and adjustments after are $70. This is twice out of 4 times! I initially booked with his colleague, Dr. Avdiu. The initial visit was cancelled the day before with only a voicemail that I should call them to reschedule, and I wasn't able to be seen for another week. When I went in, I saw Dr. Avdiu, who was personable and professional, but at the END of the appointment, she informed me that she would not be my doctor (!) and that going forward I would be seeing Dr. Nadel, since she was leaving the practice. I was gobsmacked, and thought that it was in such bad faith to move forward with the appointment and the consultation knowing that she would no longer be part of this practice, and foisting another Doctor upon me! The front desk receptionist was incredibly rude, just really not personable in any way, and argued with me about my insurance plan. I let her know that I don't have a copay, and she said "We'll see. Many patients THINK they know about their plans, but I will find out when I call." Then she spent 5 minutes arguing with me about it. (I called my insurance prior to making the initial booking). Rather than simply calling my insurance carrier right then and there to find out, she insisted on charging me a $50 "hold" until the next visit. Given that I'm in fairly bad pain, I went ahead and agreed to see Dr. Nadel for ongoing appointments. At the next appointment, I showed up on time, and the receptionist was sitting there eating at the desk! Disgusting! She told me 15 minutes later that Dr. Nadel would be there soon, he was out on his lunch break. I wondered why I would be scheduled to be seen at a time that the Doctor is at lunch. When he finally arrived, he told me the truth, which was that they had neglected to note my appointment in their booking system, and she phoned him, and he came from the gym to see me. Complete lack of organization! He was alright, and adjusted me, and he was somewhat apologetic, but had no justification for the problems of his practice, and didn't really take responsibility for any of it. I was set to go back this week, but again, they cancelled my appointment just hours before with only a text message! no phone call, and no call back in the 2 days since. The office is small, cramped, and is badly in need of renovation. The equipment is old, and the actual exam room is so cramped that you can barely move around in it. I will not be returning, and I urge anyone considering this practice to STAY AWAY!
