Cool place to stop by to shoot pool or play darts, or even sitting at the bar. They have a few bar bites that are quite good. Watch what days you go on because Wednesdays they have league night and you'll probably never get a table. It's also a smoke bar so if you don't like the smell I wouldn't recommend. read more

This place is set up for pool players! The staff is great! It's a bar with some food options as well, but you come here to play pool. With me being quite the pool shark, I decided to showcase my talents at this Trick Shots location. Haha. What really went down was my friend invited me to play and so I went. Trick Shots happens to be a bigger chain of pool halls than I thought. It seems like most areas in Central Florida has a Trick Shots in it. This location was pretty big. Not as big as the one on the University of Central Florida (UCF) side of town. But I am not talking about that one so there! Ha-ha. I happened to like this Trick Shots. If it was a non-smoking joint, I think it would get 4 stars. Despite the smoke, I managed to have a great time. The place was quiet when I went. Of course that was around 11 or so. Which is a perfect time to go shoot some pool. I wonder what this place is like on a hopping night. The bartenders serving us were super nice and helpful. Trick Shots definitely provided a change of atmosphere for me. It is nice to have places like this to break up a routine. This is the place to go if you are having a dart board, pool hall, bar craze, and just are willing to kick it back with some friends. I applaud trick shots for covering the pool hall wall to wall in TVs and not smelling so smokey inside! Honestly I had the impression most pool halls will leave you smelling like an ash tray. Pool tables and dart boards seem to always be available since it's never packed. I honestly love the emptiness of this place at times because you get to sharpen on pool shooting skills without anybody questioning why you hit the ball to make it fall out of the table. The only place of improvement this place can work on is by playing music automatically without having customers paying $1 per every song from the jukebox. Pool hall players don't always have the time to be a DJ when they are trying to win! Trick Shots is definitely a great place to grab a drink, and play some pool. The pool hall itself is very clean/maintained, and the tables are certainly regulation size-which is very nice. They also have a jukebox which allows you to pick your music, and it's very modern so you can even create playlists, etc.. All in all, this is a very decent place that I like to frequent. The only problems I have with this place are the service and the prices. The service is always hit or miss. One night you can have great bartenders, and cocktail servers who will check on you when you need a refill; other nights, it's sometimes hard to get a drink, and the cocktail waitress is nowhere in sight and doesn't come over to your table once, and will not bring you your drinks. The pricing here is also somewhat expensive given the location and condition of the establishment. It's definitely clean and maintained, but not new at all- and neither is the equiptment. For almost $11 an hour to play pool, it is somewhat expensive for sure. Also, the drink prices here are INSANE. Watch out if you don't come during happy hour, pitchers can run for $12-$14 depending on what you order. The billing system they use is also VERY OLD, and makes the bill quite CONFUSING as many customers go over their bill at the end of the night. All in all, a fun place to shoot pool. read more

Great neighborhood feeling type place. I only wish it was near my actual neighborhood. Nothing like this on my side of town. Trick Shots is definitely worth the drive. Kind of divey feel to the place with a super friendly and attentive bar staff. Plenty of TV's for all the major sports, jukebox for some atmosphere. pool tables and darts. What a great place to play pool! Great prices on drinks and menu items. Lots of well maintained pool tables and equipment. They have 17 tables. If you're looking for a competitive game of pool, you'll find it here! Lots of tough competition. Frankly, it's an amazing place! There are all kinds of people that frequent TS. Young, old, black, white, Hispanic and many other ethnic varieties. Gay, straight, you name it, we got it! What's so amazing is how friendly everyone is! It's like a great big family! Like most places, it takes time to get to know everyone but put your time in and you'll find it a fabulous place to hang out! I recommend joining a pool team. It's the best way to become part of the family. They play almost every night of the week. New shooters are especially welcome. Team play is handicapped so everyone has a chance to win. The bar maids are amazing! There all "Hot" and super nice! Service is great! They even have poker and darts! My only personal complaint and reason for only 4 starts is the smoking! I joke, when I was first married I would walk in the door and my wife would say, take off your clothes. Now after 20+ years of being married she still says the same thing but only for a different reason, I smell of smoke! They even allow cigar smoking! Gag.
