This was our first visit to Mario Tricoci for massages, and it definitely won't be our last! It was also my daughter's very first massage, so we weren't sure what to expect. Miho and Kim were absolutely wonderful. They made us both feel comfortable and at ease from the moment we arrived, taking the time to ensure we were relaxed throughout the entire experience. Their technique was amazing, they worked out all of our knots and tension while still making the massage incredibly relaxing. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and so much better than when we walked in. I had a first haircut at the Schaumburg IL location. My barber retired 3 years ago after 40+ years of providing excellent service. I have visited over 10 different barber shops with different cutters...all of them listened to how I wanted my hair cut...including Tricoci...then proceeded to cut my hair their way regardless of my guidelines. I need a cutter who can fix mistakes made by other cutters...someone who cares...checks with a new client as he/she progresses...without rushing. When I find someone like this...then I will cease searching for someone with the skills needed to make their customer happy & want to return. If you want to make me an offer I cannot refuse...your best cutter at a reduced initial rate...then I will do a revisit...if this is not possible, then I will continue my search elsewhere! I've been a customer of the Schaumburg location since 1998 (basically since I was a teenager), and no one takes better care of my nails than Olga. Renata is also the best waxologist I've ever met! Though she and I didn't meet until about 19 years ago. Those two women have become like family to me, and my IL visits would not feel complete without seeing them for a wax or nail appointment. Olga is one of the most meticulous nail techs I've ever known and takes such pride in her work. My nails always receive the highest compliments after I've seen her. Renata, without divulging too much detail, is equally meticulous with her work and I wouldn't trust anyone else near my lady parts except her! The team at Tricoci Schaumburg is always warm and welcoming and even though the front desk team has changed over the years, I love that the techs have been there since I've been going. read more

I recently received the Custom Rx facial at Tricoci Salon & Spa and it was great! Diana was knowledgeable and provided me information that helped me get the results I'm looking for. My experience was very relaxing and peaceful. All the products Diana used smelled extremely light, calming and refreshing. Her technique throughout was great! The numerous face, neck, shoulder, arm and hand massages were greatly appreciated. I will say there were times where I thought she was a tad rough on massaging my face. This location is meh. Their spa area is extremely small and they do not have showers, a steam room or sauna like most of the other locations. I think this is a must have to bring in the full spa experience. Their services are also on the pricey side which surprises me that they don't have those necessary amenities. I also noticed that the other locations typically have lemon or cucumber water + snacks. This location was limited to ice water and tea. Diana was absolutely wonderful. If you MUST go to this location for a facial I recommend her all the way! read more

I am out of town for 6 weeks and I found this wonderful salon online. I had the best experience with Angela! She is charismatic engaging and a true master of her craft! I went in for a blowout and a cut! She did an excellent job! The interior of this salon is just very grand from the moment you walk in but so minimal everything has a place! When I say minimal not in a bad way. I thought it was really neat to have smaller options of the hair and face products available. It's a very high end salon and spa! Extremely disappointing experience at Tricoci Schaumburg. I had a 2:45 PM appointment scheduled on the day of my brother's wedding. I arrived early, but by 3:00 PM, I still hadn't been picked up, so I approached the front desk. They told me the stylist would be ready in 5 minutes, so I waited patiently. When I was finally brought to the chair, the stylist immediately began lecturing me about being patient, saying she was with another client. I explained that when I book an appointment, I expect it to start on time. While washing my hair, she abruptly said, "If you don't want it, we don't have to do it." -- incredibly unprofessional and rude to say to a customer who had already waited and was trying to be cooperative. It got worse. When I told her I was getting my hair done for my brother's wedding, she scolded me for booking the appointment "too late" (I had only done so the day before because my previous stylist cancelled). Throughout the session, she continued making inappropriate and backhanded remarks, including questioning why I was "so stressed" because of a few gray hairs (I'm 17!), and saying she could easily find my parting because of my tan line. These comments made me feel extremely uncomfortable and self-conscious. The only positive note was that the front desk staff were kind and gave me a small discount because the stylist was 15 minutes late. However, I would never return to this location and absolutely do not recommend this stylist. This was not the experience anyone should have -- especially before an important family event. read more

Made a appointment for three adults 10 days prior. Recieved confirmation and reminder the day before. Arrived for appointment only to be told I only had appointment for two people not three. This has been our family tradition for years to go for pedicures then lunch. We'll since they messed up our reservations we decided to cancel.....well the manager then stepped in an said, if you cancel less then 24 hours you will be billed 50%!!! I said how much do I charge you for screwing up my appointment! She then basically called me a liar and said she had to go listen to the call. I stood there for another 30 minutes only to see the receptionist got a call from her telling her to refund all of my money, that the appointment was for 3 people and to give me a 50.00 gift card....never did that manager come out and apologize....but she had no problem talking to me infront of all the guests calling me a liar and stating she had to listen to the call! Wow!!! I would not recommend the Schaumburg Illinois location....for. what we are paying for pedicures i expected better from them. read more

A salon that makes you blow dry your own hair after color service...really? I did not know this was great clips. Color was great but if I want to dry my own hair I could do that at home. I recently got engaged and decided to get my hair done at this location. Enza did an amazing job on my streaks and was very professional. Many people have complimented it, even after 3 months of getting it done. I got caramel streaks to match my dark brown hair. I am planning to go back to within 6 months to get my hair retouch before my wedding. The overall salon is very nice and welcoming. There was a lady who washed my hair after getting dyed. She was very nice and made sure I knew where to go for the styling station after my hair was dyed. The cost to get your hair dyed at this salon is worth it because the techs know what they're doing and will make sure that the color looks nice with your hair and last for a while. read more

My worst nightmare comes to life, I ask for light chocolate brunette and this what I ended up with. Instead of lightened up my hair they put this stripe highlight, and darkened my hair, I'm too upset that I just wanted to go home, and they quoted me 275$ for this. I cried on my way home, they should told me they cannot do the hair that I wanted rather than ruining my hair. They tried to cover it up and it just got worse. Rebecca (becky) completely butchered my long beautiful hair. This is what she gave me and also will leave a picture of what I asked for. Leaving this review so no one has to go through what I did. I have no idea how this woman has a job. She did not give me even close to what I wanted and cut off so much of my hair and gave me horrible choppy layers that the start in the middle of my head. I would avoid this place as I have no idea how it employs someone who cuts hair THIS atrociously. I have never ever seen someone do this terrible of a job and as dramatic as it sounds, am completely traumatized. Really disappointed to be charged $37.50 for rescheduling appointments with Eva for hair cut and style using the tricoci app that does allow clients to reschedule the day prior without any fee. According to the manager Mathea, the technician Eva in this case can charge regardless of the app guidance. Instead of a warning call and despite my attempts to book the service AND being a loyal customer here for years, I was charged 50%. All clients be warned to not assume the app rescheduling of an appointment the day prior will negate the salon or technician still charging 50% for rescheduling the day prior. read more

I was so unhappy with my haircut. I came in, and asked for straight across bangs, with side pieces hanging. The woman gave me basically a bowl cut, with the most uneven bangs I've ever experienced. Not only that, I really wanted to keep most of my length, and she cut it almost all the way to my shoulders. My hair is recked and I feel like crying. I am so upset, I will not be going back. 70$ for a bad haircut is ridiculous. Not to mention I got my lashes done there too, and a bunch have fallen out already. I am truly feeling devastated after my haircut at Tricoci yesterday. I am not the type to complain and I have never left a bad reviews but this experience was so terrible I feel I have to. I told my stylist to keep my hair long and she cut off a HUGE amount with zero warning. It happened so fast and she never checked with me that it was okay. I had just spent hundreds of dollars getting it colored two months prior and she cut it all off. It's also uneven and shorter on one side. My hair was HEALTHY and I didn't even really need a haircut, I just wanted a clean up to feel good about myself. This is the second time this has happened with this stylist. The last time was around 3 years ago and she cut my long hair up to my shoulders. I didn't recognize her until it was too late. It took me years to get my hair to the length it was at after she ruined it the first time. I was so happy with it and used to get so many compliments. It's simply not okay to do that to someone without their consent. She was also VERY rough when combing my hair, it was painful. I had red marks on my face from her hitting it and my scalp was sore for hours after. I was holding back tears the entire appointment. Such a terrible experience and the worst part is I paid for it. Was it nice? Sure. Was it worth the price? Probably not. I started with a classic pedicure with Charli. She was gentle and professional. I was exhausted after a long day at work and she didn't force me into any unnecessary chit chat. The pedicure area is a bit secluded and the seats are nicely cushioned. My only qualm is that you have to sit up super straight the whole time because it's not a reclining chair, it's just a cushioned bench again the wall. But I'd go back to Charli. I had a no chip manicure from Janelle. It was good but very long. I think it's ridiculous that they charge you extra to take off your no-chip polish. Overall, it was a nice relaxing change from the typical bustle of other salons but I think I would've enjoyed it more with a friend. By myself I just felt like it was taking too long and I needed to get on with my day. read more

This is what my nails looked like the next day after I wore closed toe shoes more then 24hrs after pedicure. Due to cold weather I wore warm shoes and planes on changing them at the banquet ... when I took my shoes off my polish looked like that. I spend the whole banquet in my warm shoes. This is not the first time this happened at that location. I feel that paying $75 bucks for pedicure I should not worry about old polish being applied to my toes. read more
