Or whether I and my wife paid for our own meal (we most assuredly did). And that, about a week after the free Yelp event had ended. My first review was still scrapped by Yelp. Sometimes we just can't make those Elite invitations. Now if my current Funburger review is allowed to remain, here is my take on them. We love the whole vibe of this place. Great for a fun time dining out; whether alone, couples, families, or groups. With mostly above average menu choices. Our takeout order for three people consisted of the following; my Lone Star Beef Ribs plate, with a side of fries and garlic bread. My wife's brisket burger. And our son's brisket plate with his choice of mac & cheese and garlic butter toast. My beef ribs were as tender as any I've ever eaten! And with huge cuts of meat; the two that come in an order are equivalent to at least four you'd usually get most other places. No joke! With only one complaint of the sauce not being the most satisfying. Rather weak flavor wise. So a little Sweet Baby Rays added is recommended. Or any favorite choice you may desire. But these ribs were so well grilled they can stand the test of no sauce required. Now as for my fries, sort of meh after the short trip home. And the garlic butter toast could really use more garlic. But those ribs! Hats off to the kitchen! My wife enjoyed her brisket sandwich, but our son has yet to chime in. A definite future return visit is in the cards.

The person that manages and or takes the orders always greet you with a smile and today was no exception I did find out that they changed ownership in April and that they will have a new name in a few weeks. Signs are already ordered. It will be called bullpen barbecue and taphouse so hopefully a little bit more barbecue items and it will keep that sports bar feel.
