My wife and I came here last night to celebrate our 7 years anniversary of our first date. I made reservations off OpenTable and the process was simple. We been to the other Larsen location in the valley and the Valencia location was the last one to cross off the list. When we arrived, they sat us quickly in the main dining area. It is dark inside here compared to other Larsen location. Our waiter was Darrell and he was amazing. His positive energy and overall knowledge on the menu was great. He came with the amazing bread that was so soft and also hot out of the oven. My wife got her Chilean Sea Bass which is her favorite to get here and I got the 8oz filet mignon. We got the Mac and cheese for our side to share. Our food came out quick and it was delicious. You can never go wrong with the Sea Bass and my Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly. We finish off the night with the Banana Foster Butter Cake that they give for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary here and I would recommend Larsen for special occasions.

Ribeye was a 10 out of 10. The server was very attentive. Make sure to dress to impress as it is considered fine dining attire.

The food here was so good! I had the striped sea bass with chimichurri sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. Everything was packed with flavor and tasted super fresh. My husband got the lamb chops with their new apple chutney sauce, and he was a big fan! The restaurant itself had a nice vibe dim lighting, cute table setup, and it felt like it was meant to be romantic. Now, the service... not so great. Our server stood a little too close while we were looking at the menu and hovered over the table onto the menu, which made both me and my husband uncomfortable. After that, he didn't check on us much, which was surprising since we've had better service at other high end steakhouses. It was also the night of the final Dodgers game, and all the TVs near the bar were showing it. The crowd was loud, so our "romantic dinner" turned into more of a game night atmosphere. Even with all that, I'd still come back! The food was amazing, and maybe on a quieter night, we'll actually get to enjoy that date night we were hoping for.

Great steakhouse! Plenty of parking & valet as well. Craig was my waiter. SO nice & gave great recommendations. I had the peppercorn crusted steak (recommended by Craig) and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this place.

The food was delicious. I've been there a few times and the service is always excellent but this guy Dylan C has to be the worst waiter. No Bread the young Lady brought my salad ( very good ) after I ate, I order a key Lime pie and a decaf coffee. I got the pie but no coffee. I'll be back but no Dylan. Michael G.

Came for the happy hour at the bar and loved the filet medallions with baked potato. Very flavorful and high quality. Ordered a side wedge salad and a scrumptious crab cake. All excellent and enjoyed the quiet table with piano music. Service was good, but they were a little overwhelmed with the happy hour rush. My only criticism was the drinks came half way through out dinner. Overall a great experience and value. Get in line early before the happy hour begins at 5 as the tables go quick!

So, I hit this place up on a Friday evening as I was staying just down the road at the Hyatt Regency. I walked in, sat at the bar and was acknowledged a few minutes later. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and the bartender rang it in, placed the bill in the glass in front of me and that was it. After 15 minutes, I asked another bartender if there was an issue as I had not received my wine. He provided me with a glass finally... It's like rolling the dice sometimes...

5 Stars - my experience and the food was spectacular! Customer service was superb, I was greeted as soon as I walked in, my waiter was very knowledgeable giving all the information from drinks to specials the restaurant offered, & the general manager on site even paid my table a visit and checked on us to make sure everything went well. This has been one of the best experiences coming to a steakhouse - I really appreciated their hospitality. The purpose of my visit was for my honey's birthday and as I am not a local to the area, I will be visiting Larsen's every time I am in Southern Ca! Food was amazing - I will let the pictures speak for themselves!

My wife and I spent our 30 yr anniversary here on the 10th. I must say feom the moment you walk into their establishment, its 1st Class serive all the way. Dilian was out waiter and he was awesome!!. The next day I received a call from Nicole who wanted to check up on our visit. Never have I gotten a call like this making sure our visit was pleasant. It is nice to know thst there is still places we can go out to eat, get 5 star service from the first poured cup of fresh bottled Evian water to the Anniversary cake thst was comped for dessert. ( very dangerous may I add) Thank you to the staff, the cooks, and everyone there making our night a special one. Cheers

Ask the Community - Larsen's Steakhouse - Valencia

Where in the world is the entrance to this place? I have been TRYING to dine at this restaurant since 2013 and each time I come, I ended up at BJ's next door.

It’s about 20 steps before Bjs

    Do you have happy hour?

We do! Happy Hour is every day except for Saturday from 5pm to 7pm and all day on Sundays. Looking forward to seeing you there!

    Do you have happy hours?

    Yes, they have happy hour,

Should I make reservations or is it pretty good for walk-in?

During the week you can walk in. If it is a weekend, I would reserve a table.

Whats the cost for a private party for 15 to 20 people?

Easily about $100 per person, at the least. Also consider that in a party that large, gratuity is included in the final bill.

    Dressy or casual?

I've been here many times and i can say both dressy and casual works.

Do you have a kids menu?

Hi Anne, We do not have a specific kids menu, however, we do offer many items that may appeal to kids, such as Beef sliders, Mac & cheese, and French-fries of various kind.…

Do they have a private party room for 16 - 20 guests? Thx.

    Yes, they do.

    Do they have free corkage?

Hi Marian, our corkage is $25, Please let me know of there is anything else I can assist with. Sincerely,…

Do they have a corkage fee?

    I called them for you it's $25. Per 750mm

Decided to give them a try for dinner tonight (Saturday, 6/20) and the food was very good. Started off with the garlic toast which was nice and garlicky without being overpowering. Nice crunch and toastiness as it was on sourdough; the sourdough tang and garlic butter was a great match. Kiddo ordered the Alfredo with chicken. Great portion size, plenty of grilled chicken, and sourdough toast. Evidently it was good as the leftovers were boxed up and taken home and this kid almost never takes leftovers. Wife had the ribeye (medium rare - it was cooked perfectly) and the twice baked potato. I ordered the porterhouse medium rare (also cooked perfectly) with the twice baked potato. Love twice baked potato and they did a good job with them here. Both steaks were very good and the hint of mesquite was again spot on without being overpowering. All of us choose to go with the salad versus soup (clam chowder or soup of the day - corn chowder) which was fine. Nothing great, it was a salad. Typical lettuce, grated carrot, sliced cucumber, grape tomatoes with dressing (kiddo and I chose ranch whereas the wife has raspberry vinaigrette). The salads do come dressed so if you want to control the dressing, you have to ask for it on the side. My only complaint is that I forgot the steaks don't come seasoned. It is explicitly stated on the menu. If you want the steaks seasoned, you have to ask. I forgot. You can season with the salt and pepper shakers on the table but the salt doesn't penetrate the meat. That's my fault as I knew and forgot to ask for my steak to be seasoned. So no deductions for my mistake. No, they do not have Maldon's flaky salt. Again, unlike a higher class steak house where everything is a la carte, the steaks come with a potato (your choice of how you want it prepared), and choice of soup or salad. For what I may have paid for just myself at an upscale steakhouse, I paid for three albeit my child didn't order a steak. Before you criticize me and say that the quality of steak doesn't compare to a high end streak house, I agree. It simply does not. However, the quality of steaks for the price point of the meal punched above it's weight class tonight. It was a definite hit so I'm hoping to out this place back in our restaurant rotation for viable places to dine out.

But today, I ordered the beef stroganoff based on all the reviews. I will say, the steak, mushrooms and noodles were perfectly cooked. The sauce had me questioning myself all day, but I figured it out. Aside from lazily chopping the red onions, they were all different sizes and thickness. Not okay for a more upscale restaurant. Also, while I appreciated the perfect cook of the beef, the noodles and the mushrooms, the sauce was off. Definitely not a stroganoff. You don't need cream or cheese for a stroganoff and Salt Creek does not add either. It took me a couple hours, but realized they use soy sauce and vinegar. Their sauce is nearly identical to my favorite hot and sour soup. I will never order it again. Again, everything was cooked perfectly, but they charge you $45 for un-authentic meal. With really weird chopped red onion. For $45, I expect more than my local hot and sour soup.
