Finally! After moving back down to SoCal over five years ago, I have finally found my favorite salon and stylist, Nadirah. When I moved here, I had no idea it would take so long to find someone who "got" what I wanted and was able to deliver on the first visit - without costing me an arm and a leg. I am SO excited that my search is over! I got a color, highlight, and cut with Nadirah. Since she has short hair, too, she understands the challenges and nuances of getting it right. Typically, when I get my hair colored and cut, it takes 1-2 days after for my hair to start behaving right for me (I don't know why). But after Nadirah was done, I had my hair looking fantastic that night for an important event. Not only is Nadirah great at what she does, she's very fun to talk to. The time flies by. The prices at this salon are very reasonable - especially for the quality of the service and products used. I absolutely love how you can book your appointment through Yelp and select the exact services (with prices), stylist, date, and time you want. It doesn't get any simpler or more convenient than that. Like I said earlier, my search is over. I'll be back, Nadirah! read more

I've lived in LA for almost two years and had not found my stylist until meeting Dani. She is so passionate and confident about what she does which is clearly evident once you walk into her salon. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and offered a refreshment. When Dani came to get me I explained what I was looking for but also wanted her opinion. She immediately said what she thought would look great and I went with it. That is one of my biggest "test's" when trying out a stylist. I want to hear what the professional thinks would look good because I am not a hair stylist. I love to see their creativity and I want them to have that freedom. I loved how she asked me if I had any hair difficulties or qualities like dryness, frizz that I wanted to change and gave me suggestions on how to treat them.
