    "Lightly Toasted" Onion Bagel
    Geoffrey S.

Hi, I'd like one "lightly toasted" Onion bagel, plain, with some tomatoes. Get Bagel... not toasted... Spoke to the dude behind the counter who presented me with the un-toasted "lightly toasted" bagel... The conversation went from me attempting to be friendly to him being a total d*ck to me. There's no need to be argumentative or attempting to talk over me... over a mistake simply correctable. Was presented with an Overtly "Toasted" Bagel (see photo)... It was made clear that they didn't want to provide what I asked for... and the other staff just watched Trust me, I was being nice... I know this is in Beverly Hills... it would be nice if they offered "One Vegan Option" for either a butter-alternative spread or even one. In-dairy cream cheese... but please teach your staff that "Jelly" does not count! My first time in... my experience today...

Love the tuna melt, but everything I've tried has been great. Fresh and quick always consistent!

    Bacon Cheeseburger w Fries - $13.95 (almost 15 w tax)
    David M.

I've been working nearby for about a month now, and I've had a few items here. Their sandwiches are pretty good. The club sandwich is huge!! Perfect for sharing. Today I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It was tasty. If you're nearby, this is a pretty good place for a quick bite to eat. I took off 1 start because it's very over priced. My burger and fries came out to $15 (tax included). Another tip: do NOT get the buffalo chicken salad. It's a $15 salad, and there was very little chicken. Plus, the blue cheese came in giant blocks rather than crumbles throughout the salad, and finally, the buffalo sauce has a very peppery kick to it. Was not expecting that. Made me cough after the first bite (and I really love spice). The staff is very friendly and I have yet to encounter a huge wait.

This is perfect for what it is. Not fancy, great customer service and good food. Very clean, big portions, lots of variety of sandwiches, burgers, soups, tacos and salads.

    Citrus avacado salad

This is a great local lunch spot near my work. Quick friendly service always. I enjoy the citrus avacado salad with chicken. The balsamic vinegrett is delicious. Fresh ingredients used here and made to order.

    Lunch time.

They have good sandwiches here and the employees are fast workers. It can be busy so getting a table can be a challenge. Good luck.

The wait took longer than expected, but lovely staff when we were served. Good salad bar with a good selection. And reasonable prices.

Overpriced. Tried many items always paying over 10.00 even for soup. Ridiculous service, owner is very unhappy.

Updating my review because I had their salad bar today and it is fresh and a good value. Everything else isn't worth the price.

Awesome diner. Try to catch the prime rib breakfast specials. Often takes forever to get your food, but is generally worth it.

After driving by several times, I finally had the opportunity to stop on in. Parking is metered street, and I was lucky to find a spot right across the way around 10:30a during the week. As you walk in, the host stand is at the end and there is seating to your left. My friend was already seated here, so I just walked on in to table. A nice waitress came over shortly thereafter, and I ordered a cocoa with oatmilk (small). This 'small' was served in a glass, whereas a large would be in a typical mug you would expect. As for the drink, it was pretty good. As we caught up, I perused the menu and decided on a side of tater tots and for the first time in my life, I ordered banana bread which I was told was the closest thing to a breakfast pastry on their menu, while he went with a chickpea scramble (no bread). I don't feel it took too long for the food to arrive since we were catching up and enjoying our drinks. The restaurant was getting busier around this time as well. The banana bread had Maldon sea salt and honeycomb butter. This wasn't bad at all; I just never really had this before but I did finish it (got the remainder of it to go for later). The tater tots were just tater tots, nothing special but a larger portion which would be great for sharing alongside a side of ketchup. Service was welcoming, the space is nice, restrooms are two separate ones for all genders. Other guests that sat near us were friendly as well which made for an all-around pleasant experience. No photos taken since I was actually enjoying the company I was in. There were a few choices I was given today to meet up, and I'm glad I chose this one. Would be willing to try pizza or their pasta dishes on a future (later) visit. Note: I did see quite a few cops in the area, so I don't know if they are nabbing people for jaywalking or something else, so just be aware-

I hadn't been back in a few…read moreyears, and I'd forgotten both the incredible views and how easy it is to spend an afternoon there. We walked in expecting a quiet lunch and quickly realized the World Cup was on. The screening room was packed with members watching the match, and it was fun seeing everyone so invested in the game. Since we wanted to catch up, we headed to the garden patio instead. There were plenty of people enjoying lunch outside, though it never felt loud. We never had to raise our voices to hear each other, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Our server was fantastic. She checked on us throughout the meal, kept our drinks refreshed, and always seemed to know when to stop by and when to give us space. We never felt rushed, which made the afternoon even more enjoyable. We started with the calamari to share. I ordered the Faroe Island king salmon with sautéed spinach and chimichurri, and my friend had the chopped salad. The salmon had a beautiful sear and was cooked perfectly, while the chimichurri added just the right amount of brightness. We each ordered the cucumber cocktail, mine with vodka and his with gin. It was crisp, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted on such a hot afternoon. It paired especially well with the salmon. One detail I really appreciate about Soho House is its no-photo policy. After spending a few hours there, it made perfect sense. Around us, people were catching up with friends, having meetings, enjoying lunch, or watching the match without phones constantly pointed around the room. It made the entire space feel more relaxed, and I found myself appreciating being somewhere that encouraged people to be present with each other. Nothing felt forced or overly formal. We were able to settle in, enjoy a great meal, and spend a few hours catching up without ever feeling like our table was needed for the next reservation. By the time we left, I completely understood why so many people enjoy being members. One last detail worth mentioning is valet. The attendants were friendly, professional, and efficient. It's a small touch, but it made arriving and leaving effortless.

Extremely overrated…read more Unfortunately, Soho House Hollywood lived up to its online reputation of having a "you should just be happy to be here" attitude. The front desk was dismissive, no one offered to help with luggage despite the stairs leading to reception, and the elevator and hallways were extremely hot. When I mentioned the heat, the manager simply shrugged and explained that none of their locations have A/C in those areas. The hotel itself is extremely dated. Our room was standard-sized, felt small for California, and was overpriced for the quality and experience. The food was decent--the burger was pretty good and the sashimi was fresh. The restaurant wait staff were actually the saving grace: friendly, attentive and hospitable. Overall, Soho House seems to rely heavily on its name and exclusivity rather than delivering an elevated experience. There are better private clubs with better service, better facilities and far less attitude. Two stars. The restaurant staff earned the second one.

And, Miami. And even at the marinas in San Diego, San Francisco, and Sausalito. The Henry is very large and open, yet, with all the light streaming in, the soft blues and greys keep the atmosphere sophisticated, subdued, and cool. You immediately feel the calm and these days, especially in the city, we can use a good deal of decompressing. It was almost an audible "aaaahhhhh" that my brain whispered when we sat down at our roomy booth. We were there for brunch and the menu was wonderful for me, a lifelong vegetarian. There were multiple items I wanted to try but I usually stick to an appetizer, main, dessert, and beverage. I am not a big eater at one sitting. Between us, everything we ordered was superb. The descriptions were pretty familiar, but the tastes were elevated. And the presentations were unique too -- see my photos. Michael, our server, was efficient but warm and friendly too. That makes such a difference. From beginning to end he took care of us, checking occasionally to get our enthusiastic thumbs-up, and then bringing us sturdy containers and a roomy thick shopping bag to take home the leftovers. We stuffed ourselves but still took home half of the generous portions we were given. The tab was beyond reasonable too, especially for Beverly Hills! Nice music -- not too loud, just enough to give a cheerful vibe in the background; clean appointments; quality furnishings; giant spotless windows; pretty wallcoverings; comfortable seating -- everything was just right, Goldilocks-worthy. This is the kind of place to return to again and again. Garage parking at the complex for $15 was so easy, clean surroundings in the neighborhood with some famous retail nearby for browsing, just 40 minutes from home. IOW, perfect!

We tried the pasta bolognese, mac & cheese, and filet with asparagus and a loaded potato. Everything looked fine, but for a restaurant at this price point, I expected much more in both presentation and flavor. The dishes were fairly basic and nothing really stood out or made me want to order it again. The filet was cooked well but missing a char and flavor, but the overall plate felt a little uninspired, and the pastas were missing that richness and depth of flavor I was hoping for. Not a bad meal by any means, but when you factor in the price and expectations, it just didn't deliver for me.
