Great impossible smash burger! Prices are reasonable (especially since the impossible patty option can be pricey at other burger spots). Bun was a little dry but everything else was delicious. Fries were perfectly crispy

The food was alright I like the onions on the burger but the mozzarella sticks came cold as you can see. They also didn't put a lid on the sauce so our bag had sauce spilled everywhere. Wait was longer than expected. Ordered online at 9' 0 something said it would be ready 9:22 and still had to wait 14 more mins and our food was cold ?

The most horrible burger ever had in my life was dry greasy too much bread felt like I was eating a burger patty flipping gasoline sauces were horrible as well

Best kosher smash burger I ever had. Fries were also really good. A little pricey but all kosher food is.

The owners are super nice and welcoming, which always leaves a good impression. On my second visit (just a regular day), the experience was a little different. The staff didn't seem very attentive to me or my guest. Nothing rude.. just not very engaged. That said, the restaurant does some really cool things. One feature I liked a lot was the spin board that displays your name when your order is ready.. small touch, but creative and fun. Because of the quality of the food and the overall vibe, I'm leaving four stars instead of something lower. The service didn't quite take it over the top, but there also wasn't anything bad enough to knock it down further. With more consistent attentiveness from staff, this spot could easily be a standout.

Now that's a juicy burger…read more.. Tried Station 43 on Melrose today, and I liked it. Specifically, I had the Wild Burger, which the menu describes as being, "6 oz of a juicy, house-ground Angus beef patty, nestled in a soft potato brioche bun. Topped with rich American cheddar cheese, crisp iceberg lettuce, and a savory bacon bourbon onion jam, all drizzled with smoky BBQ sauce." It was very flavorful, meaty, and, as I said, juicy. So much so that I wish I had a baby wipe with me. I also got the fries, which were skinny fries, and crispy, though they were still potato-y. The only bummer is that because they put the burger on the same plate as the fries, some of the fries got soggy from all the burger juice. Though it wasn't a huge bummer because they give you a good pile of fries, so losing a few isn't the worst thing. As for the place itself, it's clean, isn't cramped, and has a good number of tables. The staff were also friendly and very helpful. Also, because it's right in the middle of Melrose, it wasn't hard to find a parking spot on a side street, though it helped that I went on a Wednesday, when parking isn't restricted.

I ordered via Postmates so I'm not able to comment about the ambience or staff or being in the…read morerestaurant itself. Overall, this place is a big hit for me! I've been a frequent flyer of Boo's (since I'm over in Ktown) and also quite a few orders over the years from South Philly Experience and twice from Matu (but that's a major treat and honestly way overpriced). All of these have their own great bits about them and I love all these spots. This isn't going to be a "who's better than who" since each is different in their own right and hits the spot different ways. I got the sweet pepper steak on seeded roll with of course, Cooper's! Then I got a classic Italian hoagie (with Cooper's) loaded up double meat/cheese. Biiiiig bonus using Boar's Head meats too, top shelf stuff. The fact that they're using Cooper's is a major plus and can get a seeded roll is such a nice touch. I do love a classic Amoroso, but seeded with the cheesesteak and Cooper's gives Matu a run for its money (and saves my wallet). Of course the meat quality is very different due to Matu using Wagyu but let's be real, that's really what you're paying for there. It's a nice treat but not an every other day get your money's worth. I feel I've found my favourite cheesesteak now though! The roll is super fluffy and crunchy where it needs to be. That thing was swaddled like a cared for newborn when it arrived and still hot from Melrose. Absolute 9/10 for me. The Italian was properly loaded and as I sit here enjoying it, a nice zingy break between cheesesteak bites as I split them half and half for lunch. For speed I love some Boo's, for the grill char taste I love some South Philly Experience but overall for my favourite spot now, it's Philly's Best off Melrose. Matu again is a great quality cut treat but the wait, the cost and the amount you get is not really worth it. Will absolutely be ordering from this place again in the future!!

The corner location is easy to spot with a small parking lot in back and meterred street parking. The interior was inviting, decorated with Philly memorabilia, art, snacks, and a few tables inside and out. There is a kiosk to order along with the cashier. After we ordered 3x Mushroom steaks and a Philly's Best Cheesesteak, the owner came out with cheese samples comparing standard American (which we ordered by default) vs Cooper's American cheese samples, informing us of the latest popular taste fads in Philly. This was an unexpected delight to find out that Cooper's and the newer Amoroso sesame rolls were nice improvements over the plain roll and standard white American cheese. Cooper's gave a pleasant sharper flavor to the normal white American cheese. The finely chopped steak, mushrooms, onions, cheese, and peppers were very generous and cooked and melted to perfection. Everything was delicious and quite filling. If you are looking for a hearty Philly Cheesesteak fix, look no further. This family run business is friendly, imports their bread, cheese, snacks from Philly, and delivers with a fantastic taste of Philly. Definitely lives up to the name Philly's Best and is heaven for the taste buds! Highly Recommend!

The order keyosk wasn't working, so I ordered with the worker. The burger is not cheap, a single is already nearly $10. And then you have to pay more for tomatoes, lettuce, etc... which I did pay for on my double, plus jalapeños. With fries, the order came to almost $25. That said, everything tasted pretty good. Fries are very salted/seasoned, burger (with all the added produce) tasted great. I don't think smash burgers are necessary better than regular burgers, but this place definitely makes a great smash.

Unfortunately, I accidentally left behind my Meta Ray-Ban glasses case. Inside the case were my regular prescription glasses, with the left lens being for near vision. I tried contacting the restaurant, but the phone number listed on the website appears to be unresponsive, and I found myself hitting a brick wall trying to reach someone. It would be helpful if the contact information could be updated so customers can get assistance when needed. If my Meta Ray-Ban case has been found, I would greatly appreciate a message or callback. Thank you.
