Our food despite being appetizers took approximately an hour to come out mind you the place wasn't even busy. We waited like we were watching paint drying on the wall. To make things worse, they mixed up the reservation time. They told us it was at 3:00 PM, but our confirmation texts clearly stated 2:00 PM. When we arrived at 2:00, the front-of-house staff was rude and told the waiter--right in front of us--that we had arrived too early, even after we showed proof of the confirmed time. That interaction really set the tone. We spend a lot of time in Beverly Hills and are used to high-end service, but this experience felt unnecessarily difficult and unwelcoming. We were debating between here and The Peninsula and chose this spot thinking it would feel more modern, but the entire reservation process and day-of experience were disappointing.
