We hired this company for a home inspection, and unfortunately, what should've been a professional service turned into something uncomfortable and downright disturbing. The owner of the company, who was doing the inspection himself, made my wife feel extremely uncomfortable with his behavior. He made several inappropriate comments that went way beyond what is acceptable in a business setting. The worst was when my wife asked if he provided any new client discounts, he actually replied that he would give her a 10% discount if she wanted to take an 8 inch ride! My wife tried to brush it off, not wanting things to escalate while she was in the home alone with this man, but it was clear that he was being unprofessional in a way that no one should ever have to deal with. The complete lack of respect for professionalism and boundaries is completely unparalleled. As a husband, I trust that professionals are going to act with integrity, but this guy crossed the line in a way that no-one could anticipate. You hear about things like this happening to "other people" but never expect it to happen in your own home. Joe still took the time to go over every detail (including finding mis-adjustment in the garage door spring hinge). The report provided was loaded with ways to point out if there were safety issues, things to look out for, and future maintainence indicators, all backed by pictures. Compared with the report I recieved from the buyer of my old home (which is of the quality I have seen 20+ times), this was a whole other level.
