Wow the food here is great! I have never cooked a Thai dish, so I'm not familiar with all that goes in it, but I know it when it's all there. And when it's not. When it is, the dish has a very complex flavor and spice profile. It can be magical. But sadly, it seems most Thai restaurants are leaving something out. Well I am glad to say this place gets it right. Today's lunch of green curry with Tom Kah soup and egg roll was delicious. If you want authentic Thai food, this is it. I love the people, the food, and everything about this place. I thought I posted this review almost 16 months ago and I'm glad I didn't because now I've spent the past 16 months eating here, traveling to Thailand, and working hard to learn authentic Thai cooking at home. Do Mh yourself a favor... bump the heat up one notch from your usual. The curries are ALL fantastic. The Pad Thai is the real deal, and the Pad Kee Mow is insane as well. Yes, there has been some slight variation in flavors in the 30+ times I've ordered here but it's always been great. The profiles were a little different but amazing. The building is in a weird spot. There are typically people slightly loitering in front of a convenience store. They've never even so much as noticed me. The service inside is top notch and unassuming. No frills, great prices. WOW!! Finally a Thai restaurant that legit uses fresh Thai chilies to make things proper. Best Tom Yum I have had in DFW hands down. Got the pork larb Thai spicy as well . Pork perfectly cooked and just the right amount of fish sauce . For entrees we got the Pad Thai with extra egg. So good. Just wanted a small dinner so ordered the steamed gyoza, crab rangoon, edamame and Tom Kha Gai soup. The dumplings were fine, but the sauce was awful - it was like straight Hoisin sauce. The crab Rangoon were acceptable but lacking in filling to wrapper ratio. For the price, the quantity of edamame was ridiculously small. The worst though was the soup. It was inedible and I threw 2/3 of it away! It was so sickeningly sweet and had large pieces of lemongrass floating in it, the chicken was devoid of flavor. Truly awful! read more

I went here during lunch with my family. The lunch prices were great they ranged from $10.00 to $12.00. And the entrees came with either a soup,salad or crunch roll. Unfortunately when we went today they were short staff and that caused our food to get backed up. When I received my food is not as warm to cold. And I was expecting better portions. Quite a pleasant surprise to find this little gem near the airport. I've found ethnic food lacking in the greater Dallas area so I didn't have high (or any expectations really) for this restaurant. I was just looking to have some of my favorite go to ethnic food on the way home from dropping a friend off at the airport. I loved the friendliness of all the staff and the authenticity of the food. Oh my goodness the yellow curry was so wonderfully seasoned with delicious aromas of basil, sweetness of the bell peppers, and enchanting taste of well cooked (not over done, or under) seafood. Wow was I in for a surprise when I asked for hot (one selection below "Thai hot"), it was incredibly flavorful heat combined with the creaminess of the coconut milk the meal left me incredibly grateful to find such a gem in Dallas. Don't let the location scare you away, it's tucked in to a small shopping center with a Dollar General. You won't be disappointed! The servers are the owner and her mother-in-law (hubs is the cook). Don't be afraid to ask for a recommendation, they haven't been wrong yet! They have all the favorites, curry, pad kee mow and pad thai. I have been quite a few times and have thoroughly enjoyed everything. I have t been disappointed with any of the dishes, so it's hard to pick a favorite. Their crispy rolls are really good (actually some of the best I have had). I also really like the spicy cheese roll. Imagine a crispy roll filled with cheese and Thai spice. Yummy! We always start our meal with a side salad. They make their own peanut sauce dressing that makes me so happy! They play loud music from the 90's which is great. So much better than the elevator music that you find at most restaurants. I find myself singing along or using Shazam to create a new playlist.
