Our family just had a wedding at the Lodge. It was the perfect venue for a multigenerational family. The Lodge is beautiful, and once the sun sets the chandeliers, strung lights,and outside fire added so much ambiance. Cannot recommend this venue enough!! Worked with Brittany at the Tree Farm and used their preferred vendors. All were great, particularly Heather from Blue Ribbon Cooking. We visited Trinity Farms for the first time yesterday; overall it was okay. The farm itself is beautiful, small, and cozy. Great if you don't want to spend more than an hour and a half. That was the positive, now the negative: 1. Unfortunately, the customer service was substandard. I say this specifically about the young ladies working there whom made us feel as if they were doing us a favor by us spending our money there - not pleasant personalities at all, perhaps they hated their jobs. The gentlemen working there were just the opposite - pleasant and polite. Also, 2. Pumpkin variety was sparse. I'd give this a 3.5 had it not been for the untrained ladies but having worked in customer service for many years feeling welcomed as patron is very important to me. read more

Before anybody reads this I want to say we went to Trinity Tree Farm for the pumpkin patch, during october, not for their trees during christmas. The Pros: Okay so I get really excited for october festivities. This is my favorite time of the year, halloween is my favorite holiday, and I adore anything pumpkin. So we have gone to three patches so far and plan on visiting a few more. Overall Trinity tree farm was wonderful. They where conveniently just down the road from me, but I would have driven miles to see them. Their patch is located in a nice quite private housing area... but a nice secluded hill overlooking gorgeous scenery. They farm is a sight to see. They are very welcoming at Trinity Tree Farm. We where greeted while getting out of the car and informed where the patch was, and where all the fun activities where. They have a nice bouncy house, a hay bail ride and a cute little kiddy train ride. They did cost money but it was very reasonable. They had regular pumpkins, sugar pumpkins, white pumpkins, swan gourds, and tiny pumpkins. They have the cutest most welcoming cabin style gift store. One of the workers was nice enough to ask if we wanted a family picture taken by her. Overall such a beautiful nice place that is very fun for the family to walk around, take pictures and enjoy there bon fire. The Cons: These are the two reasons they did not receive 5 stars. There pumpkins are not grown at Trinity Farm. They bring them in!! At first my husband and I noticed how the pumpkins awkwardly lined up in a huge field without any vines. We where wondering where the grew the pumpkins, but before we had the chance to ask we noticed one of the pumpkins had a sticker on it! This disappointed me greatly. Because they where trucked in they where all about the same size, they had no huge pumpkins. This place is clearly a Christmas tree farm that is just trying to join in on the halloween fun. However I expected them to at least grown there own pumpkins. Everything was also christmas tree related. There where christmas trees everywhere. It was hard to find something halloween related that did not remind me of Christmas. Lastly they where a bit expensive. $.59 per pound. Compared to cheaper farms who charge as little as $.33 per pound.... however I would not mind the price if they grew their own pumpkins because they are a small family owned farm. Overall we liked Trinity Tree Farms and will probably be going back just for our small pumpkins because the vibe was outstanding however we will probably going someplace else for our big ones. read more

My husband and I got married here in Jan of 2015. Yes, its taken me nearly a year to review this venue....time got away from us. Our experience was nothing short of spectacular. The staff was easy to work with, their policies were clear and reasonable, their prices affordable and the value far surpassed the price tag. This place is gorgeous. The grounds are phenomenal for photos. With the lights and building structure / decor we didn't have to do much to it to turn it into the wedding of our dreams... Even in the middle of winter!! Which was important since we were on a tight budget ( by wedding standards ) and were doing a lot of DIY for this event. Everything was so easy to do, get to, arrange or access and we wanted for absolutely nothing. We got our tree yesterday from Trinity and had a great time! Yes there were lines, yes it was busy, and yes it was worth it. We found a beautiful tree and the staff did a great job helping us shake and net it. We also got a yummy pot pie from The Tall Chef (caterer working in the concessions area) that was absolutely delicious and worth every red cent! In light of how busy it was, we will say that they are trying their best. In a time when so many are out of work this venue is doing great creating so many jobs. read more

Pretty cool spot for a day with the family. We went on a busy Saturday and they had plenty of folks working, but it was still a bit of a mess. The parking situation was not great as we had to follow a single line of cars and everyone was waiting for people to pack and pull out. It wasn't too clear on where to pay / how the system worked. I was expecting better signage. And one of two bathrooms was out of order, so there was essentially 1 toilet and 1 honey bucket to serve the 250+ people there. Pricing was a bit more than I was expecting considering you can go to a lot and buy a pre-cut, hauled and bagged tree for a little less (we paid $58 for a 6' douglas fir). But all that said, if you're looking for a way to spend a leisurely weekend day with the family, its a cool spot. We'll probably be back next year and I hope to improve the rating with a better experience next time. read more

We booked and signed the contract for the venue January 2019. We set the date for our wedding in May 2020 with TTF. In the contract there is a clause that states "In the event TTF is unable to host the event due unexpected circumstances (an Act of God, natural disaster/state of emergency, change of ownership, or close of business), a full refund of any funds received toward the Venue Rental Fee will be provided back to the clients." After COVID hit in March 2020, things were not looking good for our May wedding so we decided to postpone to August 2020, thinking this would be enough time but how were we to know. During this first postponement, we had to sign an addendum with TTF stating that we could only change the date of our wedding and if a cancellation was desired, that we would forfeit our deposit in order to secure our new date. We signed it in the mix of working with all our other vendors to change the date and letting all our guests know. This was a very hectic and emotional time for us, as I'm sure many other couples have experienced. Come end of July 2020, there were unexpected mandates and restrictions placed on weddings in the state of WA making it difficult to host a wedding with 100+ guests. After going through the first postponement and the roller-coaster of emotions, we decided it was best for us and our well-being to cancel the wedding in August 2020. Not realizing until after the fact that we couldn't because we signed that addendum. We kindly asked if they could honor their original contract we signed because this was an act of god, state of emergency, something we could not have foreseen. This was such a stressful and emotional time. We came to an agreement after some emails with Brittny (the special events & weddings manager) and a phone call with the owner, that TTF would keep our original deposit, refund us rest, and we would pick a new date to host a smaller wedding in less time allotted as we originally signed for. So since we didn't want to lose out on our money, we picked a new date. We purposefully picked a date way in advance, out of wedding season, on a week day so that we didn't have to go through all the roller-coaster emotions again. We picked Friday October 8th, 2021. We confirmed the new date with Brittny, signed a new contract for the date change and we were set. Or so we thought. Fast forward almost an entire year later, I reach out to Brittny on June 21st, 2021 to follow up and confirm our October date at TTF because I wanted to start planning our wedding for the THIRD time. She said yes so I went ahead and started to plan our wedding, again. A lot goes into planning a wedding and I honestly was dreading trying to plan this for a third time but I started as soon as I had confirmation from Brittny. I confirmed with all our other vendors as well, everyone was on board and ready to go. Deposits were made and I had just order new invitations when I get a call from Brittny on July 27th, 2021. She lets me know that we can no longer host our wedding at TTF because she overbooked that day and said we could pick a new date. She apologized and took reasonability but this is just not okay. We wanted to cancel in the first place and move on but they wanted to keep our money so we felt like we had to pick a new date so that we didn't lose out on our money and then something like this happens? We did not pick a new date, we asked for a full refund and we got it. I had to go back to all out other vendors to cancel and try to get our deposits back from them as well. I wish that we could have gotten our money back in the first place because how was anyone to know how 2020 would go? I will say that I appreciate having a chance to speak with the owner and I appreciate that there was no hesitation with our refund. We just did not have a good experience with TTF and want other couples to be very careful during this time of uncertainty. read more

We researched a lot of wedding venues, from Snohomish to Seattle to Issaquah. When we saw Trinity Tree Farm at their open house, we were sold. Well, really when my groom saw that his area had a pool table, shuffleboard table and more, we were DEFINITELY sold :) The Christmas tree farm transforms into the most gorgeous venue, with the twinkle lights, chandeliers, fire pits, bar and more. Brittny was incredibly responsive with questions, appointment requests, and follow ups. She worked great with our coordinator from Blue Ribbon Cooking (also highly recommended!) to make sure we had everything we needed and were taken care of. Trinity had a few things that were included with our rental that helped out - wood rounds for centerpieces and dessert displays, twinkle light and chandelier decorations, a bar set up with a keg fridge, and great places for both the groom and bride to get ready. We had 150 people at our wedding, and even though we had surprise rain and had to resort to Plan B (inside ceremony), the venue held everyone very comfortably and people haven't stopped telling us how much fun they had at our wedding and how gorgeous the venue is. I think my only regret is not working a Christmas tree into our contract, because I have a feeling we'll be heading down there in December to reminisce about our wedding and get our tree this year... and for years to come! :) read more

The drive up there was worth the trip! It's beautiful all the way out there! My 8 year old son had a blast picking out his pumpkin (great selection) and going on the free hay ride! They offer a really cool selection of Halloween decor in the gift shop, not to mention the coco and cider you can buy at the coffee cart. After bouncing his brains out in all of the three inflatables, we had hot dogs and chips next to the fire pit before we headed home. Well, I need to give this farm a boost! Reading the other reviews, I'm guessing the farm took a hint and improved on their business. My family and I were looking for an open pumpkin patch this weekend, since most places open the 1st of October (which is today...a Monday, boo) Trinity Tree Farm was open this weekend - hooray! Everything was well put together and enjoyable. A brand new barn where they make fresh food, including kettle korn, an open wood burning fire-pit, slides and jumpy houses for the kids, a cool very old firetruck for climbing, train ride (again for the kiddos!), and a wonderful and very friendly group of guys, loving their job and wanting everyone to have a great day. Awesome job Trinity Tree Farm! I spoke with Glen, the owner. He was so down-to-earth and friendly. They've had the tree farm open for 17 years and the pumpkins for 4 years. So to Oliver, they are relatively new to the pumpkin business. They have improved since the last time you've gone. I encourage you to try them out again! This was our second year visiting Trinity Tree Farm. We were a little sad to see the that so many areas were closed down so you couldn't cut down a tree. The areas that were open the trees weren't that impressive.... however there were beautiful trees in the closed lots. We ended up walking all around and with no luck we went to the area that had the already cut trees and found our gem. Luckily we found one. We paid $165 ($3 to net the tree) for our tree this year, however I feel it was worth the experience and the tree is beautiful. I will say there are plenty of trees there that cost $45-$65 on average if you are looking for a smaller to normal size tree, these are the typical Douglas fir trees. This year the food menu was better for sure. To my family of four it cost a total of $38 to feed everyone. Chilli was good it was spicy but good it has pulled beef in it with jalapeños and all the toppings. Let talk about the fries tho!!! Those fries were award winning to me! I hope they keep these up every year! We did not do Santa pictures because the Santa was a young man lol. Hot cocoa for free is a nice touch however it's watered down. Just some feedback for Trinity. Either way we had fun and we love our tree. read more

Beautiful indoor/outdoor venue that was perfect for our needs--we wanted private, traditional Pacific Northwest outdoors feel, beautiful barn-type indoor reception space and a venue that was easily accessible from Seattle and Trinity checked all the boxes. Your caterer will love the kitchen and the bar space as well! Brittny is wonderful to communicate and work with and we had a flawless wedding. If you have children attending, this is is also a perfect venue as there's abundant space to run around outdoors as well as a great loft/ game/ TV area over the reception hall where they can get away from the adult action while still being near enough for parental oversight. A few families at our wedding stayed past kids bedtime as the venue was safe and functional for the kids, too and they really appreciated this about Trinity. Trinity Tree farm is exactly what I look for in a tree farm. I'm not big on driving so although it may seem like "a long and winding road" to get there... It's just tucked away enough to feel like a holiday adventure out into the woods to get the tree. The grounds are beautiful and it has that welcoming feeling that makes it easy to relax and spend some time around the fire, drink some hot chocolate and stroll through the gift shop instead of just grabbing a tree and running home. They are well staffed with friendly helpful people that seem happy to have you there. It can get a little crowded but I expect it wouldn't be worth visiting if that weren't the case. read more

The day off coordination provided by Courtny and Brittny was awful, do not waste your $500!!! They provided absolutely nothing! Let me start by saying, we really wanted to like this place. We had gotten our Pumpkins here a year ago and that was a hot mess, it looked like a Pumpkin crime scene down the hill but we figured regular people were just inadvertently stepping/crushing them. There is a review here about the decorations in the "cabin", I have to sadly agree, those prices were not outrageous, they were stupid. I am a fan of capitalism and making money but this felt like greed. That specific piece was a very cheaply made, bent piece of metal and it was on SALE for $115...how and why??? The trees were so incredibly overpriced and there isn't a shaker, not to mention the netting is $3 more. My Wife was the one who said "these people are too greedy for me" and we left. We live only a few blocks away, so the convenience was trumped by crazy prices. read more

After reading the reviews for Trinity Tree Farm, I had high expectations for our trip this weekend. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. We arrived Saturday afternoon. The place was busier than I had expected, based on other reviews. There was a bonfire, but it was too smoky to sit near. There was also a modern fire pit, but it was only for looks, not warmth. The kettle corn was good, but they were out of hot cocoa and cider. On a Saturday afternoon. Really? The biggest disappointment was the pumpkin patch--it was a field of pre-picked pumpkins brought in from somewhere and set on the ground. The other farm we usually go to has live pumpkins that you cut off the vine. I really felt gypped here--especially for $.55/lb. We could have bought the the same quality of pumpkins for $.35/lb at PCC or $3.99 each at QFC. For $.55/lb I want a true pumpkin patch experience, which includes actually cutting the pumpkin from the vine. We won't be back. read more

Do not buy a tree from here! We bought our yesterday and put it up immediately and our house is now crawling and covered with bugs. Spiders, little roach looking things that fly and other bugs. We've sprayed around the tree with bug spray and it is still bad. Probably killed around 10-15 so far. Also they are very overpriced and very little selection. We will never be going back to this place because of the bugs everywhere. read more

Last year we bought into the hype (literally and figuratively$$) Unlike most tree-farms we've been to, this one seemed to have a price tag on just about everything. I just got the feeling this was a "110% For profit business" with the amenities thrown in like a cheap prop. $109 for a tree + stringing Our tree was covered with snow at the time of cutting, and when we got it home, it was unhealthy and was already dying with needle loss long before Christmas. Decided to give them a 2nd try this year. With trees starting at $80 and up, and a big commercial/non personalized atmosphere and a mouthy staff member who quipped "better luck next year" as we left empty handed with my family. We stopped by the local church on Issaquah/Hobart Rd. With a fantastic tree for $45 from a very nice and helpful family! read more

Went to get a Xmas tree on 12/7, just 10 days after thanksgiving. There was nothing over 5 foot tall, and the guy by the saws said everything was picked over, and pointed us towards the pre-cut trees. Sorry, but i'm not buying a precut tree for $80. If a tree farm can only offer a selection in the 1st week after thanksgiving (assuring your tree will be quite dead looking by Xmas morning) , then it's not a tree farm worth going to, no matter how nice it is. There was no notice on the website that their fields were effectively closed. Based on the size of the trees in the fields, I won't be back here until 2018, if ever. read more

We came last year and they did not have any large trees (8-10 ft) left so we had to leave without buying one here. So this year we came back in hopes that we would have better luck this year. It's a hike up into the hills through an executive-style neighborhood or two, but follow the little white signs and arrows, and you'll get there eventually. My wife and I arrived 90 minutes before closing time, and it was already getting dark -- good thing I brought a flashlight, I thought cleverly to myself. But it turns out I needn't have worried -- the "help" offered me a saw, a map, and even a flashlight, and said to come get him if we done find ourselves felling a big 'un (my lame lumberjack voice, not his -- he was much less weird than I make it sound). It was in the mid-30's, and my wife ended up waiting in the car whilst I traipsed around the forbidden depths of the Grand Fir woodland. It wouldn't have been bad if it weren't for the cajillion trees on the farm. Maybe the dark made it more impressive, but there seemed to be no end to the Grand Fir, Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, and even Noble Fir selection. I heard kids squealing in the dark as they ran around the trees in the dark scaring each other (and sometimes themselves, I suspect), and the rousingly familiar bars of Christmas tunes could be heard from the main building. I was a-OK with the deal! An hour later, I had sawed down a reasonable Grand Fir specimen, and carried it the short walk back to the main building and the netting station. Got my tree tag, met up with my wife, and headed into the gift shop to pick up some of the clearance decorations. I even got an assist with tying the fir on top of our decidedly un-SUV-ish car. And just like that... ::poof:: ...we were gone. Great tree farm, huge selection of precut or U-cut trees, actually helpful help, an easy smile, and new tradition for us in the making. Will definitely go again! Oh...why not five stars? Meh. Nit-picky stuff, really -- when first getting there, there isn't a "Start HERE" place; I didn't see any blessed cider (a tree farm staple for me!), though I did see some folks walking around with suspiciously awesome cups of something steaming, so maybe I just missed it; and it is missing something to make it even more Christmasy...can't put my finger on it. But then again, we were there 90 minutes before close on a November Monday...I can't imagine that's peak time. read more

For several years, our family visited Trinity Tree Farm yearly to cut down our Christmas Tree, visit the gift shop, sit around the bonfire drinking hot cocoa, etc. It is a very idyllic setting. This year, we returned on a rainy Sunday. It was less-than-idyllic, but my dad and mother-in-law, both visiting from out of town, enjoyed the setting nonetheless. They are from back east, and so just going there was a nice way to see a bit of the Cascade foothills. We sat in the covered reception area (I think it is where they host wedding receptions), and enjoyed a snack from the snack bar, along with complimentary peppermint hot cocoa. Alas, it was too rainy to cut down our own tree, and I was rather shocked to find that the cheapest pre-cut tree was $92! (that I saw, anyway). That seemed like too much, so we drove down the road to the Issaquah Community Church, where they sell trees for a much better price, and, it is a fundraiser as well. We got a beautiful Frasier Fir from them. All in all, a good day for Christmas Tree shopping with the extended family, but Trinity has become too expensive, in my opinion. read more

For as scenic, popular, earthy, and unique as this farm is, they could be doing so much more than JUST making money off of the people who visit it. As I sat at the beautiful fire pit, watching babies tumble on the grass, and siblings patiently waiting for their turn on the hay ride, I overheard masses of parents talking to their children about all of the festivities. "It's kind of expensive, it's $8 each!" a mother said, after her daughter and son asked to go on the inflatable bouncer. Another girl asked if she could ride the train, to which her mom replied, "You can go on the tractor ride, that's free." The price to participate is a barrier for many families, and the expectation for everybody was that there would be more to do than just go buy pumpkins. There is no sense of hospitality, every activity comes with a price tag ($3-$8 for fun, even for kids under 3??? On their website they refer to this as a "nominal fee"), and there is absolutely not a pumpkin patch. There are pumpkins, yes, but I am curious to know if they were actually grown and harvested there, or if they were purchased elsewhere and marked up (again, insanely overpriced). At fifty-five cents per pound, our 3 modest sized pumpkins ended up costing nearly $50. Later, to my absolute shock and dismay, I saw the same sized pumpkins at Whole Foods Market for $5.99 EACH. I won't do this again. read more

Great experience. We went the day after thanksgiving so expected it to be packed - and it was! That's OK our family had a great time hunting for our trees, walking the property, enjoying the outdoor fireplace and small shop. Best part... we bought two Fraser Firs and paid more than what we normally would at a local tree lot or nursery but gotta say, best looking and lasting trees we've ever had. Usually, our lot bought trees start to dry and die out after 3-4 weeks. Trinity Tree Farm trees are still vibrant and healthy some 6+ weeks after cutting them down. We'll be back next year for a couple more trees - new family tradition. read more

We bought our tree here last year. It was by far the smallest tree we've purchased AND the most expensive. They didn't have a shaker to shake out debris and excess needles and baling the tree was extra. On Christmas eve I noticed the tree was extrememly sappy and some of our ornaments were ruined. On closer inspection, the trunk of the tree was literally covered in beetles. They were EVERYWHERE. So my husband and I spent Christmas eve undecorating the tree, throwing out precious ornaments, salvaging what we could, and throwing out our tree...far, far away. I'm only hoping that when I open our box of ornaments this year, they're not completely infested. read more

Since this is our first year to go to a pumpkin patch, we decided to go to what's closest and Trinity Tree Farm was great! It was a fun windy uphill drive past beautiful homes until we got to the farm. When we got there, there was a huge lot with free parking. It was filled with activities including a train ride for kids, bouncy toys, a beautiful outdoor fireplace, fire pit, concessions, and free hay ride! We immediately went to the concession stand for a hot drink, and ordered hot cocoa - and it was free too! We walked down to the pumpkins and there were acres of perfect pumpkins to choose from. We loaded up our wheelbarrel and headed back up top to pay a reasonable price for a pumpkin by the pound. So many fun places for family photo shoots and we definitely got our fall fix! This is our first of many more annual traditions to come. And they do weddings! If I would've known we would've gotten married here! It's beautiful! read more

A bit disappointing. It's beautifully located. However, it's crowded and a bit of a mess (e.g., it was unclear how to pay for the tree). Also, the trees are spendy, they don't shake them, and charge you $3 to have them netted. Most places do both of those for free. read more
