I went to Trinity Tree Farm and got a great tree a few years ago. This year I was not nearly as thrilled with my experience. First off I was astonished by the prices. $70 for a grand fir. Since we were there we decided to continue and ended up settling on a tree. Bringing it back to the cabin we missed the complimentary hot chocolate, tree shaking, and friends smiles we had received at the farm we went to last year. On the plus side they do take cash, credit, and checks. Once we had it home we found the inside of the tree was dying. Would not go back again. read more

We usually get our Christmas tree up north of Everett but this year we happen to be in the south end for the weekend and it made sense to find a tree farm in the area. A friend had suggested Trinity Tree Farm as she and her family had been here last weekend. The drive to Issaquah was lovely and the Farm as you drive in is very impressive, we were excited. The gift shop was cute enough with some nice things. Fire pit, hot cocoa, train rides, food court, wow we thought we hit the jackpot. Then... we went in search of a tree. Hard pressed to find anything over 6 ft tall and the prices were outrageous. $80.00 dollars for a Noble, $72.00 for a Fraiser Fir and $58.00 for a Douglas Fir. After not finding anything tall enough, let alone nice enough to justify the prices we thought we would take a look at there already cut trees. Hmmm, all of these trees were NOT FROM THIS FARM, they probably came off a truck just like all the suburban lots and box stores, but wait, they cost the same as the ones in the u-cut fields and they had been cut up to 2 weeks previous according to an employee. It's a long drive up there to a beautiful piece of property and I'm sure most families with kids justify the trouble and just pay the price. We left and got a tree at a lot nearby for half the price and I can only guess that the same truck that dropped trees off at Trinity dropped some off there as well. Next year back to Stanwood to Holiday Forest where you can get Nobles, Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, Grand Fir, Turkish Fir, Balsam Fir, Norway Spruce, Blue Spruce, and Nordmann. and for a decent price, trains, hot cocoa, fire pit included. I'm giving it 2 stars only because it was a lovely day and a pretty drive up there. Had it been raining and cold.. 1 star read more

just a couple of minutes from fox hollow farm, which is a great place for a family with young kids to spend the day, we came here for the pumpkin patch. the pumpkins were like supermarket pumpkins strewn over a field, most of the stems drying out (ok, that's better than the wet stems and rotting pumpkins we ended up picking through at fred meyer later, but there were still good ones at fred meyer for half the price). this was a grassy field, not where the pumpkins were grown. granted, that makes for a less muddy experience, but certainly less authentic and for the dried up pumpkins, not worth it. the rides and everything else are expensive. read more

I was visiting family and we went here and I was impressed at what a great experience it was to visit here. It was a great way to make family memories picking out a tree instead of going to a corner lot. The staff was very friendly and I know my family will make this part of our family tradition. I have been going to Trinity Tree Farm for longer than I can remember. I have NEVER written a review on Yelp in my life. I have to say- after reading the negative reviews, I feel compelled. What is going on with the non-stop complaining! It is unfortunate that all social media has come to this. The amount of work that must go into that place to try to provide an amazing holiday experience has got to be overwhelming. This is the nicest tree farm and family experience you will find. For those of you looking for a tall tree this late in the season, maybe you should go to Home Depot and save the rest of who want to enjoy the holiday- your bad attitude. read more

When our daughter told us that she and her fiancé were planning to have their wedding at "the Lodge of a Christmas tree farm" I was dubious to say the least. However my doubts were lessened following my prompt and accommodating communications with Brittny before the wedding and then proven totally unwarranted by such a satisfying outcome by the end of our special day's festivities. TTF is in a lovely rural setting with the perfect accommodations for inside or outside setups. Moreover, you'll do well to take advantage of Brittny's services as Event Coordinator. As only one example when we first arrived the weather was drizzly and I worried how readily could the venue shift from outside to inside before guests arrived. Again, my fears were quickly dispelled by Brittny's experience and "take charge" attitude. She assured us that such a last minute shift could indeed happen and easily explained how the tables/chairs and service area would change as needed. Taking us through a quick rehearsal for both inside and outside possibilities I felt confident in her professionalism and knowhow. Anticipating how this would go I was relieved and then amazed that her timeframe for decision making was "spot on." Less than an hour prior to the ceremony the rain stopped, the sun shone and the outside was magnificently prepared. TTF is a perfect venue for a wedding or any special group event. In addition to having Brittny as our organizer/coordinator we were thrilled with the services of The Tall Chef and his team: Exquisite setup and fabulous food--I could have made a satisfying meal off of the exotic mushroom tartlets alone! Bottom line: 5 stars for Jack and his staff who were excellent in every way: i.e., efficient and professional yet friendly and accommodating. Certainly for a wedding or any special event you'd do well to combine The Tall Chef services with Trinity Tree Farm for an exquisite experience that will no doubt be memorable for all. read more

Friendly, sweet, swank: Dog friendly pumpkin patch (we took the short walk to the patch instead of taking the ride; the workers did ask us to keep the pup away from the growing Christmas trees). For the kids: Bouncy House, Fire Truck, Lots of Pumpkins to Assess. For the Adults: No entrance fee, free parking, $.55/lb for pumpkins, fire pit, slingshot for pumpkin flinging. After getting a recommendation to visit Trinity Tree Farm for a tree this year, we were delighted by the atmosphere. The multiple fires were nice on a cold day and having the option of seeing Santa (he has limited hours on the weekend and was not there when we were). It was fun to walk around the beautiful property. However, there were no available trees over 4'-5' tall. We ended up purchasing a pre-cut tree for $90. The tree, however, has been decorated and sitting in our living room, dead, for the past 2 weeks. Although the property was beautiful, we are very disappointed in the quality of the tree. We may be back to experience the holiday atmosphere, but will not be purchasing a tree here.....at least for a few years when the acres of small trees are large enough to cut. read more

My wife and I have been going to Trinity for the last few years. We have always enjoyed the experience and usually go during the week to avoid the weekend rush. . Glen (the owner I believe) is always very friendly and accommodating. We always take a walk around the property before choosing a tree. If you choose a pre-cut tree use the saws they have available to make a new cut before you pack it up. This will allow the tree to absorb water after you set it up in your house. read more

Trinity Tree Farms was the perfect venue for our rustic chic wedding! The beautiful evergreen trees surrounding the outdoor ceremony space and a barn style reception space with white twinkle light and chandeliers fit perfectly with our theme. The grassy field was perfect for cocktail hour lawn games. Our guests enjoyed playing corn hole, croquet, sack races and giant Yahtzee while the wedding party did photos. But by far the BEST party of Trinity Tree Farms is their day of wedding coordinator! Courtney made our day flawless! She worked with the DJ, florist, caterers and officiant keeping everything running smoothly! She also made sure we had food and drinks throughout the night with appetizer and drinks for us while we signed our marriage license, making sure the bartender kept our drinks full and even boxing up extra food from the caterer for a snack on the way home! I highly recommend Trinity Tree Farms!!!! My husband and I had a magical night we will never forget and our guests has the relaxing fun time we were hoping for! read more

We had our wedding here on June 26, and it was absolutely fantastic. Guests loved the beautiful surroundings and the casual atmosphere, and Brittny--TTF's on-site event coordinator, did a stellar job of making everything run flawlessly. TTF states that their preferred maximum is 150 guests, but can accommodate up to 200 for a reasonable additional fee. And they did: We had 180 guests, and with Brittny's help--and perfect weather, allowing full use of the outdoor grounds as well as the beautiful lodge--there was absolutely no sense of crowding. They weren't clear on pricing for their trees so after I cut down this little 4ft tree the guy told me it would be $80. HOW!? How could it possibly cost that much!!! They don't shake your tree for you and charge you $3 for netting. The most disappointing tree cutting experience. Don't go here. read more

Trinity Tree Farm is part of our yearly tradition and we look forward to it all year! Glen and staff are friendly and helpful, the scenery is unbelievable and we always find our perfect tree:) We like to go on a weekday to avoid the crowds and it is a nice, leisurely event. We had a great time at Trinity today! Our nanny took the kids earlier in the week and they had such a good time that we decided to go again today. The location was beautiful, the building/ amenities looked new/ well kept, and the staff was very friendly. I personally loved how clean and neat everything was. The farm is not huge, but certainly big enough. It was far more enjoyable b/c it wasn't as crazy/busy as some of the other farms. My kids loved the train ride, they are 2 and 4 and it was perfect for them. They jumped in the bounce house, rode the hay ride and overall had a great time! I was excited to see the Christmas trees growing which we will definitely go back for in December. read more

We went here last year with the kids, and were passing on our way home to Seattle yesterday - so thought we'd have a look in as the pumpkin signs were up on the road. They actually weren't open yet - they open this saturday onwards - but all the pumpkins were out and the gift shop looked fab! It's a shame they didnt have the extra stuff set up yet like the slides - but they were super sweet and gave my kids a mini-pumpkin each. I remembered it being further from Seattle, but we were home in 25 minutes. Glen (the owner?) told us to head back when they're open and he'd give the kids a free go on the train - just a really laid-back generous guy. read more

Pumpkin patch was fun for the whole family. Train rides for the kiddies, snack bar, fire pit, bouncey house, antique fire engine and oh yes, pumpkins. The giant pumpkin slingshot was the best part. The pumpkin selection seemed kind of sparse , though. Mostly only medium sized ones. read more

Trinity Tree Farm is absolutely as good as it gets! I have been to many tree farms, and worked in the industry and I can honestly say you won't find anything as unique and wonderful as this place. Christmas time is so special because of the EXPERIENCE and the MAGIC of the season. When your christmas season is reduced to complaining over little things like not finding a tall enough tree, you are missing the point of Christmas! These people work very hard to create an experience for your family, be grateful for their efforts and show some Christmas spirit! I had my wedding here 7/22/17, the wedding was at the lodge. I have spent over a year working with the team and TTF they have been nothing but PERFECT. They went out of there way to make sure our wedding was perfect. The venue was exactly what I had pictured. My photos are amazing with beautiful photos of me walking down the stairs, to guests surrounding the fire place, the girls and I enjoying the amazing bridal sweet and of course my favorites my husband and I walking through the trees. Yes the venue speaks for its self on its beauty however I never knew what a great experience it would all be. Brittny answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. She gave me persona options on things and supported me with my own creative ideas. They day of the owner provided me with his personal phone number and was only a text away to jump in and help with anything I needed. Thank you TTF for making my wedding so perfect in so many ways. Do not rent this place for an important event!!! Big rip-off and shady business people, violating their contracts and spewing untruths. The facility itself is in a neighborhood, so it is inconvenient in many ways to find and has many restrictions. They suck you in as a first class facility, and then unveil their inability to actually know how classy events work, revealing their low class knowledge and experience. Many of our personal belongings were ruined, such as an iPad, Nikon camera, cell phones, and personal items left outside overnight in their parking lot, like purses, etc., due to their violation of agreements and contracts. Do NOT hire these people. We also had our own permits, insurance, liquor license and professional bartenders, with a contract clearly defining the laws and liberties. The rude , exaggerating, lying event coordinator ruined our event and violated the contract pertaining to this, and many, many ,many other ways. They will "back-door you", so beware.... Or just avoid the tears and frustration and rent somewhere else! read more

Trinity Tree Farm is a Christmas tradition in my family. For all of you that are considering going there to pick out a wonderful tree, then this is the place for you! From the moment that you step out of your car, the smell of bonfire, christmas trees, and kettle corn fill the air ( what could be better?!) My family usually cuts down the tree, and they have plenty of types to choose from ( the greeters are very willing to help in any way). For over ten years my tree has never died and lived well past christmas ( even having it run out of water a few times). There is a beautiful gift shop with an ample amount of Christmas decorations and complimentary candy canes for the little ones. When you make your way back to their second building, a barn, it will literally take your breath away. Inside is complimentary cocoa and cider to warm you up. There are also many food choices and an espresso bar if you are looking for a jazzy drink. Santa comes on weekends, and my kids love to get pictures with him! There is plenty of room to sit and enjoy your hot beverage and food inside, and if you are more of an outdoorsy person then there are not one but TWO fire pits! When going to pick up your tree, there are many guys that are more than happy to take your Christmas tree to your car and tie it down. I would say the prices are very reasonable, you are not only buying a tree but the experience that will hopefully turn into a tradition, like it has for mine. I visited Trinity Tree Farm a couple of weeks ago when I needed to purchase about 30 mini pumpkins for a birthday party activity. I contacted the owner, Glenn, in advance via email and he was very helpful regarding provision of pricing and availability. My four-year-old son and I arrived one morning at about 10AM and the setting was breathtaking. It had recently rained and the mist was just rising from the ground. As we approached from the parking lot, we could see the beautiful barn in the distance with the fire lit on the patio. In all honesty, the setting could have been featured on the pages of Architectural Digest. Before we made it to the barn area, we were greeted by one gentleman who advised that there were two places to find the mini pumpkins - both outside of the gift shop area as well as in a large crate on the barn floor. There were plenty available as well as a variety of other pumpkins of various sizes for sale. While in the barn area, another gentleman greeted us - very friendly group of people who work here. While we did not pick pumpkins on this trip, my son enjoyed exploring the antique fire engine on the property. We also used the restroom and I was very impressed with the high level of cleanliness. We will be going to Trinity Tree Farm to enjoy the full experience this weekend and will probably make this farm our pumpkin and Christmas tree source in the years to come. read more
