I came here yesterday for a couple's massage and it was great. This is my first time EVER getting a massage, so this experience was really amazing. I had Nick and my boyfriend had Florence. Both masseuses are extremely professional and are very welcoming to us. I really appreciated it because I was a little anxious at first, but then I felt very comfortable after I got on the table. First they left the room so we could undress after a brief discussion on what areas to target, they came back after a few minutes and then they started working on our backs. I had a lot of back and neck pain and it felt amazing when Nick focused on those points. My neck felt super relaxed and I didn't want it to end. My boyfriend said that Florence did an excellent job on his shoulders and he said they didn't feel as sore as they did before. They both were great and I'd highly recommend booking them! There is parking in the front. The parking lot is a little small and there are other businesses that share the complex. We came at about 2:50/2:55pm for a 3:00 appointment on a Tuesday and there were plenty of spaces. Scheduling an appointment for a massage was very easy, as I believe the person I was communicating with was the owner, who is responsive and helpful. You get a discount off your first service if you check in! There's limited parking out front of the older two-story house, as well as street parking. The house is divided into many offices, occupied by various other businesses. TrioSpa has at least 2 of the rooms on the second floor. My masseuse, Lance, was sweet. Unfortunately, I prefer someone who moves faster, if that makes any sense. He would do a few long, slow strokes, and then hold his hands/arms down in place for several seconds without doing anything, which I found odd. I also specifically requested "deep tissue," and the pressure was too light for me. I suppose I should've clarified, because everyone is different - for those who bruise upon just a gentle press, there is me who practically wants to be beat up in order to feel anything. Lastly, he was a bit too chatty for me. I prefer lying in silence and trying to relax. I do understand that is a personal preference as well. Some people want to engage in conversation, others (like me) seek solace in their massages and prefer "quiet time." I just never got around to learning how to tell a masseuse to "be quiet" without offending them, so I never say anything, other than engage in the conversation. The room I was in is clean and peaceful, and the classical music was a nice touch as well. I would definitely give TrioSpa another chance, but with another masseuse. read more

My two friends and I went here a couple months ago for a ladies' spa day, and we were so impressed with everything! We're all pretty new to facials and each technician answered all our questions with patience and thorough explanations. The process was really relaxing and we all walked out refreshed. The staff was extremely responsive & I was able to get a same-day appointment. My service was a dynamic 90 minute massage. My therapist's name was Nicholas. He was professional & incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did I feel relaxed, but my pain was eased as well. I also never had those, "Oh crap! This is going to hurt!" moments with Nicholas either even though he did go deep into the tissue at times. He asked a lot of questions prior to the start of my session to make sure he understood my needs. I also liked that he asked prior to the start so it wouldn't interrupt the session. First timer here at TrioSpa today and it was phenomenal for me! My masseuse was Henry and he performed a prenatal massage on me. My main focus points were my shoulders and right lower back. He didn't just help me massage my shoulder area, but made all the tenseness 90% gone! I am very ticklish, so I preferred my feet not to be touched; but Henry used his forearm to massage my feet instead of his hands-fingers whereas I won't be as ticklish. I walked out of here feeling more refreshed and relaxed. Thinking tonight I'll have a better night sleep! My partner had someone else whom we both forgot the name to, but that is where the -1 Star come from. My partner asked his masseuse to go firmer 2x, but didn't acknowledge my partner. My partner ended up asking him "can you actually go 2x harder" and there were still no changes. My partner said he felt no changes in his body. His experience was felt as if a "light touch was just rubbing me". Prior before your session you would be asked to fill out a form where they ask you which areas you'd like to be worked on, not worked on, past history, and etc. There's a small lobby with a cute bench that includes relaxing soothing sounds as you wait. -Parking lot is right in the front of the building. -Bathroom are located right in the lobby which is clean. read more

I've gotten several massages before at Burke Williams and various other places, but this was the BEST massage I've ever had! Sure they don't have your usual spa amenities like a steam room, hot tub, lockers, showers, and yes, they only have two rooms on the second floor of the building....but their hands are MAGIC. Our massage therapists were Meghan and Amanda. Meghan did an incredible job on targeting my pressure points, and she covered all the areas I asked her to. My boyfriend walked out of the room feeling like a new person (he's a newbie and it was his first massage). Quality massages for a great price. It was $160 for the 60 min. couple's massage, and once you're done, they'll give you a couple of coupons for your next visit (one includes $15 off the couple's massage). After reading all the amazing reviews on yelp, I went to Triospa to try their signature facial. I must say I am a bit disappointed. The esthetician was nice and friendly and explained the entire process and put me at ease. However I wasn't happy with the end result . Specially because the extraction led to marks on my face. I felt I went to the studio with a clear skin however when I came back I had small scars on my face. I have done facial at many other places but never got any marks. It really put me off. I don't know about other services but I would definitely not recommend facial. At least say no to extraction. read more

Previous reviewers have mentioned a small parking lot, I took Uber and the parking lot was empty at 5pm, so I had no issues. The room is in a converted home on the Alameda and is very attractive. I scheduled an appointment for 9:30 am and arrived early but as time went on, no one showed up and I texted Kathy saying it was 10am and no one is here. I was disappointed at first because I'm a busy mama and it's so hard for me to really get time off and it was my first time here because I just went off and picked this place due to Yelp reviews. Kathy then apologized and ask to reschedule me for 12:30 complimentary appt. Timing was good for me so I agreed. I came early once again kinda anxious but luckily someone was already there! I then talked to Juanta, filled out the form and we got started right away. We both ended up talking about what's best for my skin and I asked her about products to use for my acne prone skin. I'm very into skin care and I've even learned more on this visit. The facial wasn't painful at all and I didn't leave with red skin which has happened at previous places. I also like the fact that she wasn't pressuring me to buy products which is a relief! I felt more at ease just because of that. Even when she would apply something new, she would tell me what she's using and what it's effects would be. We both ended up talking and laughing pretty much the whole session about various topics which is so nice. I appreciate the fact that Kathy made it a requirement to reschedule me and accommodate me asap due to what had happened in the morning and Juanta also did apologize but it was totally fine! My massage therapist was Henry, who was very knowledgeable and had over 30 years of experience, one of his happy clients being a former president (I don't want any political views or biases to affect Henry's reputation, as he certainly leaves politics out of his practice and expertise in massage therapy). Henry was very kind and accommodating and I felt very relaxed and comfortable. I came with many knots that loosened up after the appointment and the rough deep tissue pressure was just what I needed. As a cis-gender woman, I usually prefer another woman but if a man acts professional and does a great job, I'm sure you ladies will feel very comfortable. I am a teacher on summer vacation and wanted to treat myself to a facial. I looked here, on yelp, and TrioSpa was one of the top 5. I went to the website and felt inspired by the story of the owners. Plenty of parking and a beautiful location. Mimi was absolutely spectacular. She is the reason that I already booked my second facial! There is massage included (arms, shoulders, back, décolleté) The room is so beautifully serene. I shared with Mimi that I wanted to relax (not chat) and she didn't say a word. Later, we were chatting that it is interesting that women will get manicures/pedicures regularly but don't get facials. I've been going to Trio for a couple of months now for their massages, and I loved all my experiences! Making appointments is super easy, and I love that I get reminder texts a day before my scheduled massage. All of the masseuses are extremely knowledgeable in muscles and have provided me advice on how to improve my stretching and tension on my own time. All of my massages have been extremely peaceful experiences, and the masseuse always does a great job making sure I'm comfortable, I always exit feeling great! The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is because I sometimes feel like the masseuses don't keep time thaaaat well. I can tell when someone has been working on the same location too long and then rushes to cover everything. This might not be all of them, but it's something I hope they work on. read more

Before starting the massage, we were given a form to fill out where we could indicate which areas we wanted the masseuse to focus on and what level of pressures were desired. I chose medium pressure and my masseuse delivered on that. My boyfriend wanted deep pressure and he enjoyed the massage also. Amaaazing ... a little confusing but here's the prep: - Easy to schedule via Yelp messaging! - You'll work with the owner to schedule, but otherwise your interactions onsite are only with the therapist, who handles checkin, prep, payment, etc. - They take CC via the personal app on your therapist's phone. I had a moment of discomfort but the place felt legit so I proceeded. - I added a photo for how to find the building. The street # is not at all easy to see (skinny and reflective, hidden in the shadows under an awning). When you roll up, there are twin 1930s stucco buildings with awnings. The left-hand one is a law firm. The spa is in the building on the right. You must park in the front/side street. I do not believe you can park in the back (I think that belongs to the law firm.) - The building houses multiple businesses and it feels like it used to be a house. The rooms are irregularly shaped and they use window unit air conditioners. From what I can tell, the spa owns the upper floor, and they have multiple treatment rooms that have been converted from bedrooms. There is no signage other than the "directory" which you see on your right when you come in, but it's not particularly clear. I just knew to go upstairs because of other people's photos. I recommend they put a sign up on the stairwell wall so people just see it and go up. - Bathroom is cute and old school. . - Just be prepared for an untraditional building space, but the spa experience is traditional and def better than the other 5-star "spas" in the area. - No frills massage table; they have table warmers. I've been going to TrioSpa for a little over a year and while it doesn't have the extra spa amenities like hot tubs and steam rooms it gets 5 stars for their outstanding therapists! You can tell that they hire only the best massage therapists who will focus on getting you results and not just rub oil on you for an hour. The prices are very reasonable and they give you the full 60 or 90 mins of massage where other places really only massage for 50 or 80 and rush you out the door. I've seen Amanda for massages and she is great at getting into my trouble areas while also making me feel relaxed. They offer Cupping Massage which has gotten rid of the chronic pain I was having in my shoulder. It may look a little scary but it does not hurt at all it feels really good! Definitely a different sensation then you've experienced before and worth a try. I agree with other reviews that it can be tricky to find. Give yourself a little extra time to get there and trust your GPS. It's upstairs in one of the old Victorian houses with no signage outside. read more

The location was in like a small like house area up the stairs . I first got a massage and it was nice, she clearly knew what she was doing and really worked with you. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I both went for the signature facial which was recommended to us by the triospa aesthecians. The facial itself though wonderfully relaxing, was a letdown. I was expecting a thorough extraction of the few blackheads that bothered me, which I mentioned prior to the start of the facial. During the extraction, it felt like the aesthician only spent 10 minutes on that. After the facial, I still saw 3 prominent blackheads on my face which I could even see without any magnifying lens! By the way, my skin is in no way horrible by any means. That's why it took 29 years of my life to finally decide to get a facial! People often tell me that I have good skin and I don't need a facial, but hell, why not? I deserve some pampering love too! Anyway, yes, my aesthecian was nice and the pampering part was great (heated towels and blanket, calming music, nice hand moisturizing treatment). First time and it will not be the last! DEF A MUST GO. Honestly, words are not enough to explain how amazing my first experience was at TrioSpa. I booked a 60 minute couple's massage a week in advance and the owners Kathy/Ed were very quick to respond and very helpful during booking. Parking is super easy, there's many spaces in the front of the building. The building isn't very appealing to the eye BUT looks are deceiving, all the magic lies within its walls. My girlfriend and I made our way upstairs to meet our massage therapists. I got the infamous MEGHAN. I've read all the reviews on this place and have seen her name mentioned many times, so when she introduced herself to me I was stoked. She asked me what my body has been up to, anything specific I'd like her to focus on, etc. She then explained to me that my legs have been the source to my lower back pains. ***Going into the massage, my lower back has been killing me for a week*** Meghan must have hands of an angel because everything she was doing was perfect, pressure wise, directing my breathing, and massaging spots that I didn't even know you could massage. In the end, putting my clothes back on I realized that my lower back felt amazing. My whole body felt so much more relaxed and lose ready to take on anything! 10 stars for Meghan if I could. My girlfriend Kat had BRITTANY as her massage therapists. Kat was raving about how well Brittany was able to pin point specific pains in her body. She did not realize how much tension she had on the sides of her body until Brittany massaged them and really focused some time to helping her out in those areas. Overall, Kat seemed to have enjoyed hour with Brittany! They were also able to talk about the importance of stretching, using specific foam rollers, and working out. Meghan and Brittany were just super easy to talk to and relate to, since they gave us such a comfortable environment right away we were just so willing to trust them with out bodies. My boyfriend and I had gone this past weekend for a couples massage. Let me just say the service was AMAZING and the massage was delightful. When we got there we were politely greeted and given a questionnaire to fill so the staff could tend to our needs. Once that was completed the staff had a one on one with each of us to clarify certain techniques we'd like as well as pressure and areas to focus on. They had also added essential oils to our massage tables so we could really relax. Overall the experience was great! Great massage by Juanita! I am not one to frequent spas, simply due to the expense. However, a recent stressful life period had left my back in knots and I decided to TREAT MA SELF! I messaged the business on a Friday for an appointment that following Saturday. Exceptional service! I arrived at triospa about 10 minutes before my appointment (they occupy 2 suites in a building, so when you walk in just head upstairs). Juanita greeted me and had me fill out a new client form. The treatment room was extremely relaxing and clean, and Juanita's demeanor set the tone of the experience entirely. I went this afternoon for the first time, I decided to try this place out because of all the positive reviews I saw on yelp. I left a message for more information about facials and scheduling and was really impressed that Kathy got back to me within 15 minutes. She was able to provide me with all the information I needed to make a decision on a facial and peel. Because I just had a baby and am breastfeeding I wanted to make sure I was making a safe decision for my situation. I was very happy that I was able to schedule my facial for later in the day, I was in desperate need of a facial! My esthetician was sara, she was very sweet and informative! She told me everything she was going to be doing prior to us starting the facial and also kept me informed throughout the facial. I decided to get the double surface peel with facial, The peel can be slighty uncomfortable at some points and sara made sure to let me know what I would be feeling prior and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable throughout. After the facial I was interested in purchasing an eye cream that she had used and I was really happy that she was not pushy with additional product sales like some spas I have been to in the past have been. The environment was very calm and relaxing. It was up to date and clean!
