The appraisal they ran on my house used comps that were not even close to appropriate. When presented with a comprehensive list of properties that were more appropriate in size, location, GLA, and condition they refused to make any changes. This cost me $95k in value and ruined my refinance. If I could give a zero stars I would. The appraiser put his own self importance over doing an honest and reliable job. read more

Being in OC, if you toss a pebble in the air, you'll hit 5 or 6 mortgage brokers before it lands on the ground. Can they all get you decent rates? Probably sure... but if you're looking for someone to look at your lending needs diligently and from all possible angles, Fred's the man. I'm sure any broker can submit your file to a lender or two, but Fred will find you the best match for your situation. I had a tricky situation and Fred navigated it like a pro that he is. Knowledgeable of all the regulations and new rules and practices (i.e. due to COVID there are some tricky circumstances). It's doubtful that you'll only need just one loan over the next few years, and Fred knows that and treats you as a potential long-term repeating client. I called upon Fred Bohman, President of Triple Crown Funding to help us with the purchase of our "Forever Home", and we closed our on our new home yesterday!!
