Love this Chinese food restaurant. I am a huge crab Rangoon fanatic and this is one of the places that I would highly recommend. Their crab Rangoon's are not oily which is a big deal for me, and they are stuffed with a lot of cream cheese which is also another important thing. I love that they are fried perfectly and not too burnt, with the right amount of crisp. I also got their cashew chicken combination platter which included an appetizer and a side of rice. I got the pork fried rice and chicken teriyaki. This was a good portion and they filled the entire box. I would come here again!

I am a 5 year patron to triple Eatery and yesterday I got the worst Meal that I have ever had to date. The orange beef was only fried orange flower. there was almost 0 beef in my dish. Plus, the house lo main I ordered was primarily noodles with 1 shrimp and 1 sliver of carrot. An utterly disappointing experience for anyone let alone a returning longtime customer.Combination Plat

Food was overall okay, except the rice. I pulled a piece of hair out my mouth, it was disgusting.

We ordered 3 combination plates with sesame chicken, crab Rangoon, and pork fried rice, 2 combination plates with general tso chicken, crab Rangoon, and chicken fried rice, one large order of tostones, and one large order of chicken wings for $108. The food was ready after about 15 minutes and was still warm after 30 minutes when we were ready to eat. We all agreed that the food was less greasy than most Chinese food places. Also, the wings were really crispy and tasted fresh. The rice was really good, and surprisingly I did prefer the chicken fried rice. I liked the general tso chicken more than the sesame chicken since it had a bit of spice and more flavor, whereas the sesame chicken was just sweet. I did wish the breading was crispier, but I think it was just because it was take out and about a 20 minute drive. The crab rangoons were good but they did need just a little more filling for my liking. The tostones would have been a lot better right out the oil but it did bring a lot in the order. Overall, I was very satisfied with the portion sizes, flavor, and cost.

Bomb.com. Truly incredible wings. The fried plantains? Legit. Perfect. The shrimp and broccoli is delicious and the shrimp are massive. Not the tiny little things other places try to sneak past you. These are big, beautiful shrimp. Combo plates are always on point. Everything here is just scrumptious. Only downfall? Cash only. I really wish they took debit or credit. It's 2025, folks. Let's make it happen. Other than that, Mandarin House is a winner. A strong winner. I will keep coming back.

5 Stars for the Usual, but Stick to the Basics…read more Imperial Chinese Food in Roslindale is my go-to spot for a quick and satisfying Chinese food night. Their staple dishes--lo mein, fried rice, crab rangoons, and General Tso's--are always solid and hit the spot when I'm craving takeout. Definitely get the Imperial Fried Rice--it's very yummy and always a favorite! That said, if you're thinking about venturing outside the usual favorites, I'd personally vote against it. A month ago, I decided to try their Salt and Pepper wings, and they were just okay--about a 5/10 for me. Gave them another shot last night, and while they had good flavor, they weren't really Salt and Pepper wings. I'd rate them a 6/10 just for the seasoning alone, but if you're expecting that signature crispy, salty, and peppery punch, you might be disappointed. Overall, Imperial is great for classic takeout, but I'd stick to the usual favorites.

A server was at our table within moments and gave us our menus. Overall the restaurant looked clean although I did find a stray cooked grain of rice on my table although I am unsure where it came from. We each ordered from the lunch specials (no substitutions) and a soda. I asked for a coke and was brought a Diet Coke in a can. Personally I don't care but it might bother someone who has a strong preference for diet vs regular. My order was the hot and sour soup , fried rice with chicken teriyaki / crab Rangoon / spring roll . The hot and sour soup tasted fine but had a gelatinous consistency. I don't usually order hot and sour soup so I'm not sure if this is the texture it's supposed to have but I found it off putting. The main course is fried rice (rice and egg only no vegetables) - no flavor; 1 crab Rangoon - tasted fine; 1 chicken teriyaki - well cooked and most flavorful thing on the plate; 1 spring roll - beautifully fried and crispy but I didn't enjoy the filling. My sister also ordered scallion pancake for us to share. This too was fried beautifully and crispy but had very little scallion flavor which I suppose is to taste... We were brought napkins and asked once if we were doing ok (I had finished eating already). The price overall was fine ~$15 for the lunch special and ~$2-$3 for the soda. When we left hosts said thank you. Overall, was an ok lunch . Would probably not come again.
