Visited Tripping Animals a few days ago and loved the spot. It's a very spacious brewery that offers a variety of good beer. I had tried the one of their sour beers and it was absolutely delicious. The food was good but not something I would get again. I had the Mac and cheese and a turkey sandwich. The service was really great and the staff were all super attentive. There's plenty of parking outside. Inside there are several tables were you can sit and enjoy the drinks. They also have another area where they have a couple of games. read more

One of my favorite breweries in Miami! They throw great events, have amazing beer, a bunch of game options to play and the employees are all very nice and helpful! The vibe generally is super chill and lax. They come out with different beers weekly and I always enjoy trying new beers! It does get a little busy on the weekends so I suggest coming through out the week if you're looking for a more relaxed vibe. I wanna say most of their beer is IPA which I not the biggest fan of but they're still pretty decent! Honestly I think this brewery offers everything a brewery should offer! Def recommend! This is a very hard review for me to post because I love the people who work here and the beer and vibes are something I highly support. But I'm going to isolate this rating based on my experience today. I drove 28 min to get to the place. Got there at 8:30. They were doing last call! They said business was slow. I frowned upon it but they served me a delicious Hazy. Then, as I'm sitting there one customer comes in-- they serve him. Then another. 10 min before 9pm they turned away a party of about 7 or 8 ppl, no lie. It was cringy. People are going by your posted hours. Maybe their night clears up a little later, and they walk in an hour and a half before closing time. They should not be turned away because a business arbitrarily decided they'll close early. It was such a bad business decision, and really bad service. Maybe they should adjust they're hours if they feel there's a trend of not being profitable after a certain time. At LEAST they should post on social media or SOMEWHERE that they will close early. If there are no measures taken, it seems so rude and awful to turn people away. I couldn't believe it. I still tipped, always will. I felt rushed as one of the six ppl inside, so I downed my beer. They flickered their house lights. I walked out at 8:58 though they are supposed close at 10. I feel very unwlecomed and intrusive. Trippin Animals was trippin tonight. A bad taste So disappointed in a company I support and enjoy. Hope they hear this and do something, do better. read more

If you are into watching screaming kids running around while you are trying to enjoy your Sunday afternoon with craft beer, this is your place! The screaming got so bad that we had to leave in less than an hour after we arrived. Was out with a couple of friends on Saturday night and decided to hit up Tripping Animals. My love for breweries goes deep, so I was pretty excited to check this brewery off my list. Once arriving we had no issues with parking and walked right in to a pretty good size brewery. They had tables and little tucked in spots with vintage furniture and cool games all around. We headed straight to the bar area to check out the menu. There was so much to choose from but yet, I couldn't find a beer I wanted to drink?!? I felt like everything in the menu had a fruity flavor, a cream or a wine kind of vibe to it. I'm a Hefeweizen kind a girl and they only 1 I saw had cream flavor. After a good 10 minutes of me testing a few beers I went with the Wild duck, its a Belgium Dubbel it was okay. They also have the back of the brewery open were you can see how the beers are brewed including a pool table. I didn't have a chance to try the food on the menu but, I did see some of the food that was coming out and it looked really good. I don't want to say I won't come back, the place was cool and i heard on Thursdays is the best night. I hope they bring out some other beers that doesn't have so much going on sometimes less is more. read more

Tripping Animals is a hidden magical beer cave in Doral! As you drive up the street and see the eye on the building, you can already feel the excitement. You can almost taste the first swig of the newest sour, so tasty and unique. Seating is so comfortable and the music is always making me want to move my hips. COVID precautions: tables are separated, limited capacity indoors, and the outdoor area is SO AWESOME. I really felt safe when I went last week for their anniversary party. This brewery is relatively new. I'd never even heard of it before, and probably wouldn't have had a local not put me on to it on my recent trip. I'm so glad I went! The beers I tried were all solid. I had one that was a guest tap called GuavaFeber and one of their stouts called Bear With Me. The atmosphere is great and there are several seating areas outside of the bar where you can sit and hang with friends. They also seemed to have an in house food option, which I was unable to try as they had already closed for the day. They've really nailed their IPAs and stouts already. What a great addition to the Miami beer scene! Not to mention they have their own lot and direct you to other lots to park in so you don't have to worry about paying. read more

Love this brewery! Went for happy hour after work and it was amazing! Staff is super friendly and the vibe is just what you need after a long day at work. The bartenders let you taste test the beers and give you their recommendations to that's always great! Went with the showtime beer and it was delicious, if you're into sours I totally recommend it! What a trendy and hip spot to get your beer and grub on. As soon as you walk in, you'll understand why this brewery is knocking the competition out and making a name for themselves. Serving several of their own taps as well as guest pours, the craft beer scene is definitely thriving here. The decor is vintage rustic yet inviting and warm with loads of square footage to host the crowds searching for a good brew. Try the Bandido Pale Ale which was my preferred sample from the many I tried here. The food is so delicious, I literally ordered again after I ate. I started off with the Kalua Pork Bao and was impressed with their refined approach to creating such a deliciously crafted and perfectly proportioned meal within minutes. The yuca fries had the perfect crispy exterior with a starchy warm interior that was perfectly cooked. Before heading back to Tampa after a weekend in the Keys, we stopped in. This place has been on our bucket list for a while. The space is great and spacious. They have a wide variety of brews here but I'm partial to their IPAs, especially Booby and On the Loose. They offer cans to go as well as crowlers. They also have some great food options as well. We will be back in a month for their annual beer festival and are looking forward to trying more stouts/IPAs. The food was also great, the pavo tacos are my new go to when I'm in Doral. read more

This was our last stop after visiting the breweries in the area! This one was quite large and there was several options for parking which was nice! My first time trying sours, def. different! The food although I didn't try seemed looked yummy as many people were ordering the nachos! There was large parties and even scrapbooking girls nights when we were there. Another distinct thing but what I loved was there was like a social like event and the brewery had a lot of mute and deafs! Employees were patient and seemed to be catering to their needs which i really really loved! Stopped into Tripping Animals Brewing on Saturday night. Got a 5oz pour of all five of the beers brewed in house and ended up taking a Crowler of Falling Pig home with me. Also, ordered the Shoyu Tuna Poke Nachos off their food menu. Quality I usually like to give a place a little while to get its bearings before checking it out, but after hearing the immediate feedback I did not want to wait to check out Tripping Animals Brewing. And while it is still very early there is so much to like. I will start with their beers, which are fantastic. I tried all five currently on the menu, Bandido, Bad Hombre, BOYS TO THE YARD, Falling Pig, and Koopa Troopa, and liked every single one. My favorite, which I took home a crowler of, was Falling Pig. Right out of the gate they are IPA heavy with three IPAs, a pale ale, and a pilsner, but Falling Pig is a notch above the rest. This dry-hopped and unfiltered beer is everything I hope for in my IPA. BOYS TO THE YARD however, a collaboration with M.I.A. down the street is very solid as well. A milkshake IPA, it is hazy and delicious. This is not to sell the other beers short, but I would have been happy with just those two available. And while guests hoping for other styles may not be as excited, I was promised some sours and stouts were on the way. They also have a menu full of quality guests drafts to keep you happy for now. I also love that they have their own in-house food. I ordered up the delicious Shoyu Tuna Poke Nachos. A tray covered in chips, guac, pico, onions, sour cream, and a mound of tasty tuna. A great treat to go along with your beer. Quantity The majority of beers on the menu come in 5, 12, or 16 ounce sizes. I went down the list and ordered a bunch of 5oz pours to get a sense of their beers. The food I ordered was the Shoyu Tuna Poke Nachos. It was a huge tray, clearly meant to be shared, but good enough that I ended up finishing it on my own. Value I ordered 5oz pours of the house beers, which were $3 each. I also got a 32oz Crowler to go for just $15. The large plate of Shoyu Tuna Poke Nachos was $12, which sounded expensive, but for the size and quality was a decent deal. Ambiance Tripping Animals Brewing joins a bustling Doral brewing scene. One of two new breweries opening up in the same month, Tripping Animals takes advantage of the large amount of industrial space in the area. Walking in I was immediately impressed with the size of the brewery. The front area is the tap room with a huge bar surrounded by tables and lounge seating. A stack of boardgames sits on some shelves and a couple televisions hang from over the bar. The other sectioned off area is where equipment sits as well as a small area with a ping pong table and lawn games. This enormous room sits relatively empty, but I was told it would soon be stacked with barrels and host other smaller brewers for collaborations. It is clear they have big plans and I am excited. Crowd The brewery space is huge and can easily handle a large crowd. Considering they have only been open for a week, I was impressed by the number of guests. There were lots of small groups hanging out, playing board games, and drinking beer. I also saw a few children and a couple dogs, making it both a family and pet friendly location. Service It felt like every single person working took the time to come over and ask me about the beers I had tried. Having just opened a week earlier they are clearly gauging the early reactions. They offered me a tour of the place and spoke about some future collaborations already in action. Parking They have a private parking lot in front of the brewery. There were plenty of spots to choose from and it looked like there was overflow parking on the nearby street. Extra Tripping Animals Brewing has me very excited. While I am not ready to say they are a must visit, if they can add a few more brews of the same quality to the menu and hit some other styles they absolutely will be. I also love the relationships they have already created with other great Florida breweries. I am sure to be back soon to see what else they have in store. read more

So, this place opened finally opened last week after years of rumors. And seriously, I am blown away at how organized they are. They are currently serving 5 of their own beers, plus 18 or so guest beers. I hope they bring in a dark beer of their own soon, but the Bad Hombre which they said was their most popular was pretty good (for a non-dark beer). The real shocker though was the food, mostly tacos but also BAO!!! And I had the black mole filling. (On the subject of Black Mole, it is THE most typical food of the Oaxaca state of Mexico and I have yet to find it anywhere else in Miami - yum!) The ambiance in this brewery is really nice, the music is at a perfect level where you're still able to have a conversation without screaming, they have ping pong and pool tables, couches and an outside area which creates an overall great atmosphere. I've gone twice and the staff has been friendly, they have great recommendations and look genuinely happy to be there. The only reason why this place isn't getting five stars is because I feel the bar food was alright, also the food menu on the wall was not updated, and every time I asked about a dessert/food item, it was no longer being served. This place didn't immediately pop when we searched for breweries as we emerged from the Everglades but when we spotted it we made a beeline to it. Apparently they've been here for over a year. Coincidentally the owner of MiA was spotted here too the evening we were here. There was a birthday party going on. Our little one enjoyed playing with the sofa furniture and running around while we clinked glasses with an old friend whom we just happened upon during our visit. I tried their Captain Kush, not quite as good as Lincoln's Beard formulation which changes depending on the brewery who has it. Yes that's right. Captain Kush is licensed to one brewery for a period of time, and moves on. Each brewery gets to change the formula of it. Very curious. Also tried their IPA called trip around the world, but finally settled on their double dry hopped pale ale called Bandito, which was light and easy to consume. Seems to me, I'm beginning to shy away from those heavier beers. The have a great amount of space here for patrons, TVs to watch sports, and food is served too. Enjoyed this brew pup! read more
