I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the level of service I received from this salon. It was like traveling back in time to when a pedicure meant an experience. I got the pedicure with the salt scrub, and the length of time they massaged my feet, and lower legs put me in such a relaxed state, that I definitely left feeling much better than when I arrived. I had been looking for a good nail salon for quite awhile and I finally found a full service, husband and wife team that did a great job. It was my first time there but I will be back. It's been a month and my toes still have all the polish on. No chips, no smudges. I have to book again as my nails have grown. I got my nails done today by Tracy one of the owners at T-Wyn's Nails, it was super beautiful! This place is quit not so busy by walk-in customers, but they're busy by phone appointments. I loved how nice they are and hardly smell any chemicals in the room. Price pretty much similar like other salons nearby. Then when I came back to get my toes done they couldn't do hot stones on a Friday because "they were to busy" when there was 3 employees and 3 customers including me. I've been here twice. I really like that it is small and a bit off the beaten path. I don't feel comfortable with COVID in a very crowded salon. I think there may be just two manicurists? So you definitely need an appointment and don't expect same day. I went here just to find get an SNS and gel pedicure. The staff is rather small but it was a roomy business and they were pretty clean. I really appreciate their jokes and laughter, it makes it feel like home. I think their color selection could be brighter because I like bright neon colors but they had colors I liked too, especially dip #123. Very pretty. The pedicure was relaxing and smelled really good and the sns was clean and smooth at the end. I really liked it and they even gave me a really good massage :) They were incredibly nice, I just wish I knew it sooner because they were so close to me yet I never saw them show up in my apple maps. One of the worst mani/ pedi 's I've ever had. The man who did my toes cut me & filed my toe nails uneven and sooo short. It looks sloppy. He kept checking the clock the whole time too. The gal who did my gels, cut me 4x to where I have bloody scabs and the gel is all over my cuticles. It looks like a toddler did my nails! Disappointed bc the place is just down the street from me. Approximately 3 weeks ago, I called after reading reviews and decided to book an appointment with Tracy for a regular manicure and regular pedicure. I was able to get in the same day. Tracy gave me an excellent manicure and also an excellent pedicure. I was very pleased! I intended to go back for another manicure in two weeks. Health problems prevented me from returning when I wanted, but as soon as I was able to, I called, spoke with Tracy and booked an appointment with her for the next day for just a manicure. When I went in for my appointment at 9:15 a.m., Tracy was doing a manicure on a male customer. I was escorted to another chair by Tracy's husband, David, and he positioned a pillow behind me which I thought was very nice. Then I was told "Yen" would be doing my manicure that day. So I said to Tracy, "I booked my appointment with you!" She said, "I answered the phone and you did NOT request me." THAT was NOT true! I specifically asked for Tracy and wrote her name, time and date in my appointment book. I didn't know what to do, but lying does not set well with me. So I decided to have Yen do the manicure since I badly needed it and I was already there. In the chair to the right of me, when Yen finished my nails, was a woman Yen removed her polish from and put foil on her finger nails. While I was sitting there waiting for my nails to dry, the woman then changed seats and went to Tracy's seat since Tracy was finished with her male customer. I heard Tracy's husband, David, speaking and screaming loudly in Vietnamese on the phone. At some point, he yelled out in English, "And Tracy is NOT doing pedicures anymore." I sat there in shock and didn't say a word. Yen's manicure was only fair. She did not polish my nails to the cuticle or all the way on the nail. When I went to pay, Yen took my money. What was most interesting is that I paid $29.00 for a plain manicure with Tracy and I was charged $19.00 for a manicure with Yen. It seems to be there may be different prices for different customers, but also that Tracy wants to do only the high price manicures now so she can make more money. At the time Tracy did my nails, I gave her a 20% tip and she asked me to pay that in cash. I made another appointment for two weeks -- mani (with Tracy) and pedi (with Yen), but after I thought about all that occurred, I decided that I am NEVER going back there! I think much more of myself than to be treated that way by anyone. So for those of you who always say, "Buy local," this is a perfect example of why that doesn't always work. read more

Came here for the first time today and was very impressed! I've been to dozens of salons and this one has met all of my expectations. I'm unsure as to why there are negative reviews. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating, asking if I'd like bottled water without me asking. They used menthol towels which felt amazing for the pedi and gave a nice long massage to each leg/foot. As we know, most salons skimp out on the massage portion. I even received a head and neck massage as my hands were drying! I will definitely be heading back here not only because it's my neighborhood salon, but because they also have very decent pricing for north Scottsdale. Loved it!! read more
