The last time Trish touched my hair was at the old salon. This new location is just perfect! The appt was so easy to get with her as she's pretty flexible. As I was not familiar with her new location, I wasn't sure how COVID friendly it was going to be... I can assure you it's perfect and very safe! You go to the bldg intercom, call her and it rings at her location directly. She buzzes you in and then meets you halfway in the hallway to greet you and takes your temperature. I then realized that she has her own small closed door salon, it's just her and no one else in the space so it's quite safe and clean. Both my daughter and I had not gotten our hair cut in about 2 years. It's quite long and the ends are insane! She listened to us and did a dry cut on both us and cut and styled just the way we liked it. We were so happy with our cuts. Masks were on the whole time. There is a rumor that after you've experienced getting your hair done by Trisha, strange things happen after you leave; in a good way, almost magical and mystical! Because if this I had to experience it for myself. If you're reading this post you're probably on the fence about making an appointment. If your looking to be a plain Jane, then keep on scrolling, as only goddess are made in her salon! I was coming out of Global pandemic, and after 1 year of hiding in isolation, I was ready to be welcomed back into society. I have to admit, I had no shame in the game and bought hair dye in a box to help cover my greys and even attempted to color my own hair in pure desperation, but no matter how much effort I tried looking cute, in the words of my kids... "Mom , you looked Wrecked!". It was no guessing the first thing I would do once I survived hiding from Covid, and getting my vaccine, was to get my hair done. PSA- if your planning on looking cute now, you better book yesterday coz Trisha is in demand! Also, I'm sure you know this, but you need to spend money to look like money, or you'll end up looking like a knockoff Cucci, when you really wanted to be GUCCI! So finally I made it to the salon, and what I love about Trisha was she never once mentioned how wrecked I looked, and kept everything professional as she touched my hair and asked what I wanted to do. I gave her my full trust to do whatever she wanted, and i guess by the way I looked she said "Oh i think you need the whole She Bang! As she began wrapping my hair in foil, I ended up looking like a giant ball of Jiffy pop-popcorn ready to explode as she neatly layered my locks with foil. After waiting for my hair to be developed, she asked me to walk over to wash my hair, and this is where it gets scary as all you start to see is streaks of BLOND unraveling from the foil, (not the look I was thinking of, but again...Trust the Process!) She gently layed my head back and scrubbed my scalp with her magic finger tips. I had not been in human contact with anyone for over a year so you could only imagine where the mind can take you! All I could say, If I never knew what the real meaning of a happy ending was, I could have easily said this was my happy ending! Now the color was being added, and more waiting... To make a short story longer, once she began to dry and style my hair, I could see this woman in the mirror staring back straight a me, I slowly began to hear Megan Thee Stallion playing music in my head... I'm a savage (Yeah) Classy, bougie, ratchet (Yeah) Sassy, moody, nasty (Hey, hey, yeah) Acting stupid, what's happening? I was wowed by my own reflection and once again felt beautiful! I was a Savage!!! My hair felt amazing, soft, fresh, and the cut and color where just right! It was truly beyond my expectations. Once she was done... she said and that's why it's called the whole "She-Bang!" Now leaving where I first started... about the rumors of what happens after leaving Trisha's Salon... After leaving the Salon, I was at a red light and I noticed in the car next to me pulling up, a cute boy in his 30's rolled his window down to wave at me. I looked around to the right and left of me, thinking who's attention was he trying to get ( being near 50 yrs old, these incidents have become far and few). I see his smile get bigger and I could see his lips move like he wanted to say hello. Embarrassed by not knowing what to do, I smiled and blew him a kiss as I waved good bye with my hands outside the sunroof! ... (wait...what? who does that?!? ) and the light turns green i start to drive; I hear a loud crash, and as I look back in my rear view mirror, I could see he must have gotten rear ended by the car behind him; no joke!!! I have heard rumors about these incidents after leaving Trisha's salon, but never had experienced it myself till now! Apparently after you get your hair done by Trisha, she transforms you into this Beyoncé goddess who takes over and has men oohing and ahhing over you.
